Suuuuuper piece
My kittens go crazy for this toy, and it makes us ladies happy too!
The only downside: it would be great if you could buy the "bird" separately, as it's now worn out (because it’s been played with so much, which I think is fair enough), but the rod is still intact.

not very durable
The fun for the cats is simply sensational – especially outdoors – there are leaps like something out of a picture book. Unfortunately, the durability is terrible – without some DIY skills and plenty of superglue, neither cat nor human will enjoy this for long.

Unstable and Dangerous
After playing with it once, it was broken. My big boy happily chewed up the springs, and I just managed to stop him from getting the metal loops and hooks into his mouth.
Even if you're supposed to supervise during play, these metal parts are a complete no-go!

Everyone is thrilled...
Everyone, meaning my two tomcats and I ;-) are absolutely thrilled... I've rarely seen the two of them go so crazy over a toy right away. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant...!!!

surprisingly sturdy
Addition to my earlier comment: Even the attachment holds up surprisingly well, despite our two cats not wanting to share this toy and treating it quite possessively. What unfortunately doesn’t work: Simply hooking in the original refills from the original DaBird. The design doesn’t allow for that, but with a bit of creative tinkering, you can solve this too. Alternatively, you can extend the life of the attachment by replacing broken feathers with new ones: just push them in deeply and you’re done! Even if the cat eventually pulls out the new feather, the damage can be quickly fixed :-)

Super toy!!!
Three out of three cats are absolutely thrilled with the Bird feather wand!! So, full marks. The price is unbeatable (there’s a similar product that’s a bit sturdier but costs more than twice as much...).
For us, the Bird is by far the most popular toy (...and the fluffballs truly have plenty of options...).
I’ll keep buying it again and again, as it doesn’t last forever, but it’s an absolute must-have!

dissatisfied
I bought a cat wand here at Zooplus, but unfortunately, this wand didn’t even last a week with my cat. The feathers started coming off after just 3 days. Today, the last feather has fallen off the wand.
It’s a shame that perhaps my opinion won’t be published. Maybe just because I dared to raise a complaint.

The cat is absolutely thrilled.
My usually calm-loving Chartreux is absolutely thrilled with this wand toy. I've rarely seen him chase after a toy like this. It really awakens his hunting instincts. Since the wand is a bit long and the feathers are lightweight, you can't move it very quickly. My other cat, who prefers fast-paced wand games, isn't very impressed. Just give it a try!

Very short-lived pleasure
My cats absolutely love the toy wand, but it was ruined after just 2 minutes!!!
It's nice to watch them "chase" after it, but at this rate, I'd have to buy two new ones every day.
So better steer clear and spend a bit more on the sturdier original instead...

That's a job for the tinkerer first.
This item is a big hit with our little tigers, but if you take a closer look at the workmanship, it’ll make your hair stand on end. A safety-pin-like attachment between the leash and feathers, sharp-edged and, in my opinion, downright dangerous for gums, tongue, paw pads, and eyes! A bit of DIY is needed to fix the problem area, and how long the thing will last is still up in the air.

Not high quality.
Our little warriors (6+8 months) have never been as excited and thrilled about a toy as they were with the Bird Cat Wand. Unfortunately, the fun was short-lived, as after playing with it three times, all the feathers had fallen off, leaving the cats looking rather bewildered. Since several others have described the same issue, it doesn’t seem to be an isolated case, which is why I can only rate the product with a maximum of two stars.

The cats "go crazy" for it...
And I often find myself having to put the feathers back into the holder...
Guaranteed fun for the beloved cat, and if you’ve ever wanted to see flying cats, this thing is a good choice. However, for the price, the Bird is unfortunately not very durable!

One swipe of the paw and it's broken!
Great fun to play, but it fell apart into pieces after just 10 minutes. Too expensive for such a short-lived experience.

Bird
I have the original DaBird and recently got this wand toy as an addition. The original delivers on its promises. I received this bird wand yesterday, and after playing with it for the first time today, my two BLH kittens managed to pull out all the feathers in one go by holding onto it... How is it supposed to hold up when the cats are fully grown? I'll try to glue it back together. But it really should last longer than just one play session... I hope this was a one-off defect and the others will hold up better.

Great idea but unstable
The idea is great, but the stick is absolutely terrible – it broke after just a minute.

Simply brilliant!
My cats and my daughter's cats are all absolutely thrilled with this cat wand. I always have to hide it in the cupboard, and then the cats stand in front of the cupboard hoping the fun will continue. It's quite exhausting but very funny.

Absolute fun
My two little tigers had an absolute blast. They were instantly crazy about the toy. Unfortunately, the feathers wore out quickly. The "bird" should definitely be available for repurchase.

A swipe of the paw was all it took!
My Norwegian Forest Cat hit the rod once, and it immediately fell apart into pieces. Even at this low price, it's still too expensive.

Flight Hangover!!
My tomcat goes absolutely crazy for it! He meows and yowls until I play with him. You’d never guess he’s 12 years old – he leaps and chases like an overexcited young cat.
Unfortunately, one of the feathers came off after just two days. A replacement is on order ;-))

Super piece
Got this delivered yesterday, and my two cats (Ragdolls, 1 year old) absolutely love it. Pure fun, with leaps and loops included. Let’s see how long the feathers hold up to this wild play. Just to be safe, we’ll order a spare one next time.
