I received it and wanted to assemble it, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. I didn’t know how—no instructions, nothing at all, hmm... Anyway, my two little ones don’t really like it either.

The red feathers stain massively as soon as they get wet. They are constantly being chewed on, etc. This flaw is certainly not pleasing – because reddish stains on light carpets are not very pleasant.

Unfortunately, my naughty, naughty tiger actually managed to catch the fishing rod after just 5 minutes. Well, that was that. While removing it from his drooling mouth, the poor thing immediately lost most of its feathers. Lakritze, that's the name of the naughty, naughty (indoor) tiger, has already destroyed several of these rods, but never one as quickly as this. Conclusion: Never again.

My little rascals, just 5 months old, destroyed this fishing rod in 2 seconds flat. Not good quality. How's it supposed to hold up against fully grown house cats???

I order this play wand for my cats quite often and like to include it when our kittens move to their new homes. The play wand is actually pretty good and lasts quite a while. Sometimes, though, the craftsmanship is so poor that after 3-4 play sessions, the feathers fall out and the fun is over. All in all, it’s no match for the original DaBird, but in terms of value for money, it’s definitely okay.

My two little ones absolutely love the wand toy. They go completely crazy for it and can hardly wait to play every time. Unfortunately, the feathers come off after a few play sessions, but I was able to put them back in quite easily. However, that doesn’t work in the long run. I’ve ended up buying another one now because the wand toy has become indispensable.

I ordered this fishing rod for the second time, and unfortunately, I had to notice that the quality has declined. The swivel is missing, which causes the line to twist. The price was the same.

Admittedly, the low price tempted me. However, the quality is still quite poor – especially if you've had the chance to try the original. 1. The string tangles immediately, so you constantly have to stop the game (the original has a swivel joint). 2. The feathers don’t flutter at all like they’re supposed to (mimicking the typical bird flight sound). 3. The feathers are pulled out much faster than with the original.

Super rod for 2 x 5 minutes, the cats are thrilled, but the owner isn’t. All the feathers (3) came off, the stick is unstable and falls apart. Better to spend a bit more money and get a rod that lasts longer than 10 minutes. Kasu

...off the rod. And that after just 2 uses. Basically, the rod is great. Thanks to the long stick, the angler’s hands are protected from overexcited claws. The feathers make a fluttering noise when swung back and forth, which grabs the attention of almost every cat. It’s not just for feather fanatics ;) After a bit of tuning with some tape, we can keep on fishing.

The cats were absolutely thrilled. Unfortunately, the stick kept falling apart. And after one evening of play, this toy (feathers) is now beyond repair. I'm used to sturdier toys. Such a shame. Money wasted.

Well, my little tomcat had exactly 10 minutes of fun with it... then all the feathers were ripped out and shredded! I expected more from the toy! Unfortunately, it’s not recommendable!!

This play wand is perfect! Thanks to the length of the rod and the string, as well as the fantastic feathers, you can play with the cats effortlessly – no major physical exertion required. Even while sitting, the feather can be handled perfectly, and the cats absolutely love chasing after the bird-like movements!

My cats really like it as a toy, but unfortunately, after just 2 minutes, some feathers had already come loose from the holder. Eventually, all of them fell off, and even gluing them back didn’t help. The construction itself is very flimsy. Such a shame.

We’ve never been as satisfied with any other toy as we are with this one. With a bit of practice, you can make the feathers fly through the air in a way that’s absolutely “bird-like.” I’ve never seen such a sparkle in the eyes of our indoor cat before. After a successful hunt, she always turns into a proud lion, carrying her prey away with her head held high :-) It’s especially fun when we play various bird sounds in the background. We wouldn’t want to be without this feather wand anymore.

My two are absolutely thrilled with this wand and jump higher than ever before. When they catch it, they immediately run off with their "prey" and try to hide it. Also, after playing, they’re completely worn out and just want to sleep, so it’s the perfect toy for the evening to ensure mum and dad have a peaceful night. Although it’s a great toy, I can only give it 3 stars, unfortunately. The first feather came off within a minute, the rod doesn’t stay together, and the string slips off the rod. So, once everything is glued and tied securely, nothing stands in the way of the fun!

Unfortunately, the quality of the product is very poor. The feathers come off far too quickly. At first, you can still stick them back in and secure them a bit with tape, but eventually, the connection tears, and the feathers can no longer be attached. Over time, it’s becoming too expensive for me to buy a new wand every few days. I also find the attachment with a sort of safety pin dangerous due to the risk of injury. A small carabiner hook wouldn’t be more expensive for the manufacturer but would provide a safer feeling and certainly reduce the risk of injury significantly. From a cat’s perspective, though, the wand is unbeatable!

My tomcat immediately took a liking to the cat wand.... however, the connecting piece isn't particularly sturdy, but the fun factor for the pet is very high...

The feather is a MUST for every young kitten. The feathers don’t last long, but you can put them back on.
