The cat loves it.
...unfortunately torn apart by the cat too quickly.
Doesn't last very long
But for the cheap price, that's OK
I would buy it again

For our cat, the BEST toy of all time!! She just can't get enough of it!

Top-notch!
There’s no toy my cats love as much as this wand. My little one performs proper acrobatics and high-flying jumps to catch this wand, and even my big tomcat, who’s usually hard to get excited, can’t resist the occasional leap. Once they finally catch it, they proudly carry their “prey” away. After playtime, I have to store the wand in a locked room, otherwise it gets dismantled or even fished down from the highest cupboard.
What’s special about this wand is that it really imitates the sound of a bird’s wings flapping—I think that’s what drives the cats absolutely crazy for it.

Really great
The rod usually lasts about 1 month here, then
we repair it once more using a heat shrink tube (available at the hardware store), which then lasts another 1-2 months, and after that, we get a new one.
It's really worth it. The cat has an absolute blast with it.

Always up-to-date
I’ve had my two tigers for three years now.
Many toys have been interesting at times and boring at others during this period, but not the Bird Cat Wand. Whether I whip it through the air at top speed or let it glide slowly across the floor – it’s always exciting – always fun!!!

Movement
This item is great. My tomcat is rather lazy and doesn’t like to play. However, the cat wand encourages Filou to play, and he makes huge leaps. The only thing that bothers me is the feathers, which I have to keep putting back in, so 4 stars.

Great activity
The fishing rod is perfect for encouraging the cat to play. Our cat absolutely loves this rod.

Great fun to play, but unfortunately breaks quickly.
I brought the fishing rod as a gift for a friend. Within 5 minutes, the feather part had already been taken off. The cats went absolutely crazy for the rod, showing off some amazing jumping acrobatics. Unfortunately, the feather part kept needing to be reattached.

The cats love it
Both cats absolutely love the wand and go wild, jumping, running, and stalking whenever I bring it out. The only downside is that the feathers don’t stay on properly, so I have to stick them down with gaffer tape – which is a bit annoying.

The best fishing rod!
My cats usually aren't that interested in playing with a wand toy, but this cat wand has completely changed that – they go absolutely crazy when I play with them. The price is amazing!

The best toy for indulging the hunting instinct
This fishing rod is an absolute hit because of the "bird sounds," and I've had cats for 18 years. The only downside – it's not very durable, and the holder with a sort of safety pin isn't particularly great. However, it doesn't come undone. My tomcat constantly demands to play with this rod. Since this is truly a fantastic product, there's no deduction for the quick feather release.

All good
My tomcat loves the fishing rod, and so far it’s holding up well. He’s quite a cautious cat though, so both my tomcat and I are happy with it. How long it’ll last remains to be seen.

Great thing, just not very durable.
The fishing rod is really great and motivates the cats to perform acrobatic exercises.
Unfortunately, the feathers come out quite quickly if the cat and you pull too hard. If you avoid that, the rod will surely last a few days.
You can also reinsert the feathers a few times.

Spinning rod
I think I've already bought a few dozen of these fishing rods because my cats absolutely love them, but unfortunately, they break far too quickly. If a few feathers were missing, that wouldn't be a big deal, but most of the time the entire feather tuft comes off, leaving just the empty string. I would suggest making the whole thing sturdier, as cats aren't exactly gentle when playing. The idea is great though, because the cats really believe they've "caught" a bird and treat their prey accordingly. Maybe it could be made a bit more durable, even if that means it ends up being more expensive.

The bird just has to be quick ;-)
Great toy... my cats went wild.
But it's true, you have to be quick and can't tug on it too hard. With a bit of creativity, you can stick the detached feathers back on. I'll order again—this is the first feather toy that really lets my cats go all out. The usual feather pompoms are useless now; the stick breaks straight away.

Breaks quickly, but is still played with a lot.
I have to agree with the previous reviewers here—the feathers at the front wear out incredibly quickly. The cat loves it, though, because then he can tussle with the captured bird and the silly thing doesn’t fight back. Our kitty is much more excited by the feather holder anyway. Once the feathers are gone, that’s when the fun really begins for her. At our house, the wand gets used until the string becomes too short to tie back together again. It often gets chewed through, of course. And heaven forbid if we don’t have a replacement wand ready!
For us, this wand is the number one toy, no matter what condition it’s in!

Amazing!
I've never owned a cat toy that was as wildly popular with my two as this wand. As soon as I take it out, my little one practically goes crazy. She does somersaults in the hope of catching the feather and performs all sorts of acrobatic jumps... it's absolutely hilarious. Even the lazy tomcat goes wild and hoists his comfy body upright! I always have to end the play session after a certain amount of time, otherwise, the little one would probably play until she drops! I can't leave the wand lying around anywhere either, as it gets stolen immediately and proudly carried off! Last time, I ordered the wand in a pack of three straight away because it really doesn't last very long, but it's worth it for such an amazing toy.

Great idea, but only for a few minutes!
My cats are thrilled as soon as I bring out this feather wand, performing acrobatic leaps to be the first to catch the supposed bird. But unfortunately, the feather only lasts a few minutes, and then the fun is over! Torn apart, nothing flutters anymore, and last but not least, everything falls off. All that's left is the string and the wand. I used to get feather wands from the USA, where the feather attachments were replaceable and much more durable. Of course, those feather wands were much more expensive. But if I can only use these wands for a few minutes of play and then have to throw them away and keep ordering new ones, it's not exactly cost-effective or practical!

Lasted exactly 3 seconds...
...even on the first attempt at playing, the entire attachment at the front came off. And my cat, weighing just 3 kg, is definitely not a heavyweight. Even the £1 fishing rods hold up better!

Perfect toy <3
This fishing rod is almost perfect. It's the only one that all our cats – even the extremely timid one – absolutely love (we also have 8 other rods, none of which are nearly as popular). The fluttering sound is particularly charming, as it sounds incredibly realistic. The natural, uncoloured feathers are also fantastic.
We (humans) are thrilled with the long handle, as it allows us to effortlessly provide endless entertainment.
Of course, it loses feathers, but with a hair tie, that's easily fixed in no time, and honestly: at this price, that's perfectly fine. Our other ones were significantly more expensive and didn’t last much longer.
