This scoop is highly praised for its large size and efficiency with Cats Best litter, making cleaning quick and easy. However, many users report that it breaks frequently due to the brittle material, especially with clay-based litter. Despite this, its unique design and ability to sift litter effectively make it a popular choice. Overall, it's considered a good purchase for the price, but be prepared to replace it regularly.
Perfectly suited for Cats Best litter.
Large size makes cleaning quick and easy.
Breaks frequently due to brittle material.

Here are the measurements:
Total length: 32 cm
Widest point: 16 cm
Deepest point: 7 cm
Scoop basin: 15x14 cm
Hole sizes: varied, approx. 0.8 to 1.6 cm.
The holes are therefore very large :)
For anyone who wants to decide for themselves whether this scoop is right for them.
My experience:
+ brilliantly large: it speeds up the cleaning process immensely
+ great large holes, heavier litter (bentonite) sifts through on its own, almost without shaking
+ a litter tray is clean in no time :)
+ slightly brittle but thick plastic, which feels sturdy and seems like it will last a long time (mine has been with me for a month now)
- all clumps under 1.5 cm fall back through the holes into the tray. This doesn’t bother me. I either pick them up with the edge of the scoop or leave them (I have another scoop for finer bits)
- the edge of the scoop is rounded! This makes it hard to reach the corners of the tray and the edges.
I’m very happy with this scoop and can wholeheartedly recommend it!

Stable
Sturdy and spacious, the XXL toilet is cleaned in no time. Only the holes could be a bit smaller.

Great shovel!
Wonderful, especially when you have to 'scoop out' 10 litter trays several times a day! We use both Cat's Best ÖkoPlus and Cat's Best Nature Gold (the pellets), as well as other clumping litters like Biokats, and now it only takes us half the time to clean them out.

Quick is good!
Since I got the scoop, cleaning the litter box isn’t as bad anymore. It’s quick, and above all, it’s large and sturdy. Depending on the type of cat litter and its clumping ability, it works better or leaves more smaller clumps in the box.
In any case, a top recommendation for cat owners with strong hands and sensitive noses.

Great scoop
Great scoop manages to get all the poop without taking too much litter!

Super shovel!
There's absolutely nothing to complain about with this scoop! The quality of the plastic is excellent – not cheap, flimsy stuff, but really sturdy!
The size is perfect; you don’t wear yourself out scooping, yet it still fits into every corner.
The holes are ideal for the litter I use (Tigerino Nuggies with baby powder scent). The clumped litter stays in the scoop, while the clean litter falls through effortlessly without any extra shaking.
I’m genuinely very satisfied. And on top of that, the price is so affordable! A definite recommendation!

Super shovel!
We've had this scoop for quite a while now, and it still hasn't broken, even though I've dropped it on the floor a few times. Also, I don't understand the point deduction for "loud plastic"… but oh well… The scoop is large, made of thick plastic, which makes it sturdy. It has big holes, which ensure quicker cleaning and, most importantly, let the still-good litter pass through. As a result, I use much less litter than I did before with a different scoop. For smaller messes, you can use the raised edge. The right technique is the key! I can only recommend this litter scoop!

Very good and sturdy shovel!
I am very satisfied with this scoop. It is very well-suited for our jumbo cat litter box.
Of course, you should clean the litter box more frequently before the clumps break apart, as the holes are relatively large. However, cleaning is particularly quick thanks to the large holes and the size of the scoop.

Great poop scoop
Works very well as the holes let everything fall through except the bits you want to throw away!

The perfect shovel for coarse bedding!
I use "Cat's Best Nature Gold Cat Litter" because one of my cats is a long-haired tomcat, and this litter smells wonderful, doesn’t stick to the fur, and doesn’t harm the environment.
For coarse litter like this, this scoop is simply ideal. I’ve been using it for about 2 years now, and it’s still as good as new.
However, you do need a bit of skill to pick up extremely small droppings (this occasionally happens with our second cat), but the upside is that you can be sure the "fresh" litter really falls through the grid, which means the litter lasts a very, very long time.
The only tiny downside, in my opinion, is the hard plastic, which makes a loud noise when sifting. Hence, I’m deducting one point—actually, just half a point. ;)

Best shovel there is!
Even for just one cat (I was initially 'shocked' by the size and then had a good laugh about it, but it's brilliant!)
Finally, I remembered to leave a review here – I’m thrilled with this product every single day. Since I mix water into my cat’s wet food, she pees a lot and often, usually in the same spots. This results in large clumps that can be scooped up wonderfully with this shovel! The holes are quite large, but the idea is to only remove the clumps anyway. If there are any smaller bits, I just pick them up with the edge – no problem! It’s much better than when a clump breaks apart with a shovel that’s too small, leaving me with lots of tiny pieces to deal with.
I’ve been using it for at least a year now. Twice, it made a slight cracking sound when I pressed it too forcefully into the litter, but it hasn’t broken yet! And if it does eventually break, I haven’t found it cheaper anywhere else, so it wouldn’t be a big deal.

Very good for coarse bedding
Very good and very sturdy scoop for coarse litter like "Cat's Best Öko Plus cat litter"; not suitable for sand litter as the mesh is too coarse.

Too bulky for standard cat litter boxes
I bought this litter scoop for Cats Best Gold. The pellets sift through well, but the scoop is just too unwieldy, even too large for jumbo litter boxes.

At first, I was really impressed ...
Large, perfectly suited for clumping litter and sturdy – or so I thought. After a few months, the material became brittle and promptly broke a few days ago.

Small clumps fall through
I wouldn’t buy the shovel again. I have to sift everything again with a smaller shovel because the smaller clumps fall through. I simply rate the shovel as inadequate.

Huge!!!
That's one massive litter scoop! Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the dimensions when ordering. It's certainly ideal for large clumps, but for smaller poop clumps, I need a finer scoop. Hence, only 3 stars.

TOP - quick cleaning with a sturdy scoop
Full marks:
The scoop is very large, has high edges, and guarantees quick and effective cleaning. Additionally, it is very sturdy and fits well in the hand.
The smallest items naturally fall through the holes, but an additional scoop with smaller holes seems unnecessary to me.
Well-deserved 5 stars!

Really good shovel
I agree with Anja's opinion (06.06.12), it's very good, but it breaks after about 3/4 of a year^^
It's not a big deal for this price.

For Cat's Best Öko Plus as a first scoop
Seems to be sturdy. Large. For crumbled clumps of Cat's Best Öko Plus, a second scoop is needed. The colour "grey" turns out to be dark grey.

Shovel for heavy-duty work
Cleaning is super quick with this litter scoop because it's nice and big. I use fine litter. The "liquid leftovers" are always large clumps, so they’re no problem. However, smaller clumps or little poo balls can be an issue, as they just fall through the large holes in the scoop. Either you have to painstakingly fish out these small bits with this scoop, or you get yourself the Catit Ultra Litter Scoop instead.
