This scoop is highly praised for its large size and efficiency with Cats Best litter, making cleaning quick and easy. However, many users report that it breaks frequently due to the brittle material, especially with clay-based litter. Despite this, its unique design and ability to sift litter effectively make it a popular choice. Overall, it's considered a good purchase for the price, but be prepared to replace it regularly.
Perfectly suited for Cats Best litter.
Large size makes cleaning quick and easy.
Breaks frequently due to brittle material.

Super shovel, not very durable.
Unfortunately, it breaks right in the middle every few months. You can see on the new replacement shovel that this spot is likely where two parts are joined together during the manufacturing process.
Still, it’s a great shovel, and for the price, it’s bearable to buy a new one once a year.

Good, but it breaks.
Super litter scoop, especially for Cats Best litter as it's a bit coarser.
However, the scoop broke after 8 months.

Good but not quite...
I agree with most in that initially it's a great scooper. Sifts loads at a time, quickly and evenly but there is a design flaw. After a week or two the front edge cracks, and whilst it continues to work it slowly but surely finds other stress areas and cracks there as well. The design is perfect but the materials are not. If they made it exactly the same way but with aluminium or some other metal it would be perfect (and probably last a lifetime) which is what they don't want. Hay Ho.

Durability unfortunately lacking - but overall great
Overall, a really great shovel, but unfortunately, it only lasts about 3 months for me. Now I have to buy my fourth shovel. Still, it’s the best shovel in terms of size, and I hope the manufacturer finally works on the quality. Most of the time, the handle breaks, and now I’ve got a crack at the front of the shovel. Such a shame...

Great size but holes way too big
The scoop is huge (like a baseballdglove!a great job in scooping up soiled wetlitter clumps in one scoop (especially when the clump has spread out underneath) But, unfortunately the holes in it are huge and way too big - I use a flushable clumping litter and even still so much soiled litter falls back through the holes as it's travelling between tray and toilet. I've had to go back to using my smaller scoop. If they could make the holes smaller,it would be perfect

Partly, partly
The shovel is good overall, but the material is far too thin and unfortunately breaks very quickly. We've already gone through three shovels, and all three have broken. It's completely unsuitable for normal clumping litter because it's simply too heavy. Even with wood litter, it broke – and yesterday, even the handle :( It's a shame because, in principle, it's great as it can hold a large amount, but due to the overly thin material, we can only give it 3 stars. The handle and overall construction need more material.

Great size BUT needs to be stronger...
I have BIG litter trays (biggest is a repurposed dog crate!) and my cats like their litter deep. It can be very time consuming sifting through all that litter to remove clumps. When I first got this scoop I loved the time it saved, sifting so much more per scoop. Fantastic! BUT after several months it broke. I thought 'well it's been used a lot' so I didn't mind and bought another. But the 2nd one broke within weeks, and cut my hand in two places! Great size but needs stronger handle please!!

Unfortunately, a bit too big.
Great scoop, good grip, very sturdy, large holes suitable for the eco litter... but... way too big, at least two sizes smaller would make the job easier. That's why I'm deducting points.

Giant shovel
Has anyone actually ever cleaned a cat litter tray with this monster scoop??? It's way too big and therefore very awkward to handle. Unfortunately, I ordered it using my points balance. I would never have bought it in a shop.

Cumbersome, not particularly suitable for small hands.
Yes, it scoops out the clumps of litter from the cat litter tray, even very fine litter that clumps strongly can be removed with it. However, the scoop is extremely unwieldy, as it’s too bulky for women’s hands. The handle alone is too thick, and for hands struggling with arthritis, it’s particularly uncomfortable. It’s such a shame that the *Litter-Lifter Original* is no longer available here. I was happy to pay €6.00 for it – a fantastic product, but now it’s no longer in the range.

The holes are too big
I got this litter scoop with my reward points. I was shocked with the size and depth of it the holes are too big. The litter I use turns to sawdust when wet so would just fall through it. Useless for me.

too big
I bought the shovel because I read that it’s sturdy – and yes, it is – but it’s far too big. I can only manage to get the droppings into the litter champ bin with a lot of effort and skill.

The material is brittle.
I find this scoop extremely good in terms of its handling and the size of the perforations. Fine powder litter as well as wood and fibre litter can be easily sifted to remove clumps. Unfortunately, though, a piece has already broken off my second scoop. The plastic is too rigid. A scoop should be able to withstand tapping without breaking.

Holes too big
I also bought this scoop for my cat litter box but quickly realised that with clumping litter, too many smaller clumps remain in the litter because the holes are too large. Unfortunately, the scoop has now also broken at the handle, even though it’s actually quite sturdy. However, sometimes such solid clumps of urine form in the back corners that it’s almost impossible to get them out. I clean all the litter boxes regularly and have already tried various types of cat litter.

If only the shovel were made of metal... :-(
...then number 5 wouldn’t have broken as well :-(
I like the size and handling of the scoop. I’ve already ordered it 5 times now because I couldn’t find another one in this huge format made of metal... But now I’ve had enough of spending loads of euros (even if the price initially seems cheap) on a plastic item that keeps breaking...
Finally, I’ve found what I was looking for—a huge XXL litter scoop made of metal for my cat breeder household. It’s affordable and works brilliantly :-))) I went ahead and bought 3 of them straight away ;-)

Broken
We were very satisfied, but unfortunately the shovel broke into two pieces today. The handle snapped off. Conclusion: due to the size of the shovel, the material should be sturdier. After all, you’re moving quite a lot of litter with it.

Really huge shovel, unfortunately also huge holes.
The shovel is really nice and large, so quite a bit fits through. But unfortunately, it's not suitable for pellets, as the holes are too big.

We have cats, not horses!
Of course, I could have realised the dimensions, or rather the sheer size of the scoop, if I had read the size specifications more carefully.
The scoop is nicer than other litter scoops and it is practical too, but it is far (!) too big.
We need it to remove cat clumps from the litter tray, not horse manure!

Huge!!!
That's one massive litter scoop! Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the dimensions when ordering. It's certainly ideal for large clumps, but for smaller poop clumps, I need a finer scoop. Hence, only 3 stars.
