The scoop is huge in every respect: massively large with massive holes, making it perfect for coarse clumping litter. It’s not suitable for non-clumping or poorly clumping litter. I use good clumping litter and am absolutely thrilled!

I'm simply thrilled. I've already bought a second scoop (for the toilet under the pergola).

Really huge, which makes cleaning super quick. However, the holes are very large, so smaller clumps fall through. But since it’s so fast, I follow up with a smaller scoop.

I actually sent this back because although the quality is really great it was almost as big as the litter tray. Well not quite but you get my meaning. But for those with large cats or many cats this will probably be really good.

The scoop is far too big and unwieldy. The sieve holes are also much too coarse and let smaller "clumps" through easily. As a result, it starts to smell quickly, and the litter has to be completely replaced more often than necessary. We used the scoop with CatsBest Öko litter and ended up getting rid of both fairly quickly.

I was really surprised when I unpacked this. It's the biggest scoop I've ever seen! I was unsure if that was a good or a bad thing, but it's definitely a good thing. It takes me less time to scoop the whole box and get to every corner. My only complaint is that the mesh is too big. If it had smaller holes (at least in the center) it would be perfect.

Perfect scoop for clumping litter; does the job easily and quickly with no clean litter wasted. Small clumps do sometimes fall through the holes, but I have a second scoop with a smaller mesh that I use for those every now and again.

It's good for people with more than one cat because it's a really big scoop but the problem is some holes are too large so the litter gets saturated quicker. If the make the holes a bit smaller it would be perfect!

The litter scoop is practical and very sturdy. Smaller bits do fall through, though... but with clumping litter, it's not a problem.

Of course, I could have realised the dimensions, or rather the sheer size of the scoop, if I had read the size specifications more carefully. The scoop is nicer than other litter scoops and it is practical too, but it is far (!) too big. We need it to remove cat clumps from the litter tray, not horse manure!

Super shovel, very sturdy, nicely large, and with a practical stand at the end of the handle. Thanks to its rounded shape, it hardly gets dirty and is easy to clean. Very practical and well thought out!

Seriously, this is the best cat litter scoop ever, particularly when used with Cat's Best clumping litter. The holes are the perfect size, and in the years I have been using it there has never been an occasion where I have accidentally made contact with the cat poo!

One of the sturdiest and therefore best litter scoops with a large surface area, making cleaning quick. However, even with this scoop, the handle broke after some time due to the heavy litter. Such a shame!

The shovel was a bit larger than we had expected, but it's still handy enough and easy to use. Definitely an effective helper! It also feels really sturdy! However, I do think the holes could be a bit smaller, which is why it's "only" 4 stars. But I would still buy it again.

The scoop is very sturdy, very well suited for Cats Best clumping litter. However, the litter tray should be quite large, otherwise removal becomes tricky due to the long handle.

Cleaning the litter tray is actually fun with this scoop. Quick as a flash, the tray is spotless.

This is the best litter scoop I’ve ever bought. It’s large and sturdy. Cleaning the cat litter box is so much easier thanks to the big holes compared to other scoops. I’m sure I’ll never buy another scoop again.

After 40 years of multi-cat ownership, we can say: cats love large mortar tubs as litter boxes, open at the top. Among countless other expensive litter boxes (with entry from the top/side, with or without a hood/flap/fan/air vents), the two mortar tubs are the most popular with our cats. They're tall enough that even stand-up pee-ers don't manage to pee over the edge. Together, the two tubs hold a large 40-litre bag of Cat's Best or Tigerino (both lightweight litters, so even the filled mortar tubs are easy to lift/shake, allowing the clumps to 'float' to the top), and with this Catit litter scoop, they can be cleaned again in just 5 minutes.
