The shovel is too big for my purpose, and the holes are too large as well.

If you are using eco pellet litter, forget about it, the holes are too big everything falls through the scoop!

Unfortunately, absolutely not ideal. Too bulky and poorly shaped, even for XXL cat litter trays. Sadly, it doesn’t manage to break up the clumped litter, as despite the bulky design, the quality leaves much to be desired, and the scoop feels like it’s about to break when dealing with large clumps. It’s no sturdier than a regular scoop costing less than €1. A waste of money.

We are absolutely thrilled with this scoop. Since we have two very large litter boxes, it makes sense to use a large scoop as well. The occasionally huuuuge clumps of pee can be easily removed from the box this way. Plus, with the thick plastic, there’s no need to worry about the scoop breaking. Definitely recommend!

I agree with most in that initially it's a great scooper. Sifts loads at a time, quickly and evenly but there is a design flaw. After a week or two the front edge cracks, and whilst it continues to work it slowly but surely finds other stress areas and cracks there as well. The design is perfect but the materials are not. If they made it exactly the same way but with aluminium or some other metal it would be perfect (and probably last a lifetime) which is what they don't want. Hay Ho.

I absolutely love this scooper, it’s massive and does the job. It also has made life so much easier and I’m not wasting so much litter as it acts like a sieve and I can sieve all the good wood pellets left and throw away all the dust and sawdust left over so I’m not throwing away massive heaps of clean litter. Amazing to use on wood pellet litter as it’s easy to sieve and separate all the clean wood pellets from the dirty sawdust left over. I do use a smaller scooper for picking up cat poop.

I ordered the scoop using my bonus points and have already reordered because I need scoops for several floors. And what can I say, I think this size is fantastic. Even though I have small hands, it fits perfectly in my hand. Very good leverage and it holds a decent amount. The sieve holes are an ideal size. A purchase recommendation from me!

First of all, the advantages: a stand and two holes through which you can thread a cord. But unfortunately, that's about it! A massive shovel that pushes into the litter and, due to its balloon shape, gets stuck like a parachute. You end up with what feels like two kilos of clumps in the shovel and have to keep starting over. A flat shovel works much better with the litter. Unfortunately, completely useless. Luckily, I got this item with my bonus points.

It is absolutely massive and makes cleaning a lot quicker. The holes are a great size, if your soiled litter falls through then you're simply not using real quality clumping litter. Only minus is that it doesn't fit in my litter champ... but this is not the fault of this scoop, the litter champ hatch is just too small p.s. please stop flushing cat litter... every single uk water company hates you for it .

When I unpacked this giant shovel, I was initially shocked by its size. I then tried it out and I'm really impressed. It feels good in the hand and is easy to handle. CLEAR RECOMMENDATION TO BUY

We have really large toilets, but this scoop gave us a good laugh – it's huge and completely misshapen, not suitable for us at all. More suited to a horse stable :-)

We have an XL cat litter box and various standard litter scoops with different hole sizes. We now use Greenwoods eco clumping litter (very satisfied!) and the standard scoops reached their limits with this litter. The Catit scoop, on the other hand, is simply perfect for this type of litter and an XL box, and cleaning the litter box is much faster and, above all, less effort! Minus point: The top edge of the handle is extremely sharp (hence 4 stars).

I once took the scoop as a bonus gift to test it out. I actually think it's very good for large clumps of cat litter. Smaller clumps and loose litter fall through, so I have to remove those with a different scoop. Unfortunately, the plastic isn’t very sturdy, so the scoop broke after 4 weeks. But I ordered it again, and touch wood, it’s been holding up since the end of May. You just have to be careful! *Laughs*

I love this scoop! Thanks to its size and especially the huge holes, you hardly need to shake the litter anymore. I have small hands myself (glove size S) and don’t understand why some people say it’s unsuitable for small hands. I also can’t confirm that it’s too big for the litter boxes. I clean my litter boxes in a species-appropriate way with at least 18cm of litter, about 1-2 times a day, and I don’t end up "halving" clumps or anything like that. User error on your part, maybe?

Great shovel

Had to buy a replacement from the local shop. Unfortunately, there wasn’t one like this. The first time I cleaned up with the replacement scoop, I immediately noticed—oh dear. All the litter stuck to the scoop, even though we chose one that was sturdy and coarse. But sadly, that’s how it is. I’m happy to pay for shipping because I know this one is the best.

I use bentonite clumping litter, and this really handy scoop quickly falls victim to it. By now, the 4th (!) scoop has already broken between the handle and the scoop, so I've decided to switch to a different one.

This is unfortunately STILL the only (?) scoop in this size with the right perforation, because it breaks after just a few weeks when trying to loosen clumps from the litter box. Such a shame – why not just do a proper job and make the thing sturdier, Catit?

For smart pellets, I can't imagine how an even better scoop could be designed.
