quality is gone
It was the best cat litter until, just recently, the quality of it dropped dramatically and Cat's Best became Cat's Worst litter. I am so disappointed - formula is completely different, the new one has bigger chunks, doesn't clump as it used to, it's tracking and the main thing it stinks horribly! I have to give up buying it and that's a shame Cat's Best loosing customers out of their greed and stupid decisions.

Awful. Leaves mess everywhere. Wee bits of litter get stuck in cat paws and scattered everywhere.

This cat litter is far to small and bitty not suitable for a semi longhaired cat,all the litters stuck to his fluff.should have been advertised as small bits of litter.
Used it for years - time for a review
Cat's Best + Zooplus top entry litter box combination has been the best solution for my 3 cats. Very little tracks and mostly falls off as they jump up and out. One quick hoover around the box once a day, that's it. Clumps well, little to no dust and those of you that flush it down the toilet: DON'T.
No litter is designed to do that as it expands - of course it will block especially if you have an ancient pipe system & cat poop could it potentially contain harmful parasites. Use beco bags
Good but kept blocking the toilet
I really liked this litter as it’s very absorbent. My only issue is it kept blocking the toilet. This may be more of an issue with my toilet though.

Doesn’t clump like it used to
Really dissapointed. I’ve just forked out almost £60 for two bags of litter. Go to scoop out the first few clumps after being promised it clumps really well for the wee clumps to all fall apart. Totally dissapointed.

A nightmare
This litter certainly has values (no dust, a good odour control) but in my experience as a owner of 3 cats turned out a nightmare because I had it all around the house. Maybe it is too light but surely not the best litter I tried. I consider a benefit of the litter if it does not drive me crazy with clean it up all around.

Cat's best litter
This is one of the best litters I've tried, (well, not me personally, bt you get my drift).
Anyway, yes it clumps, but my little treasure sometimes likes to keep pawing at it, so it can break up bt it's not that bad really, an extra few scoops through & the rest of the litter is fine. Hardly no smell & yes, it can track bt I use a handheld roller brush to pick up the few bits, instead of getting the hoover out...works for me! So IMHO, it is a good litter.
Too dusty
Great value for money but very dusty, I struggle myself with the dust when i am scooping.

Best holder in of smells
Ok, it does track BUT I've tried loads of litters and this is the non-whiffiest so far IMHO. Also I have a VERY picky mog, who is very specific about what she will put her feet on. Forget pellets, she just pees next to the litter tray. Some others she will use, then arbitrarily decide they hurt her feet. Never a problem with this. Would give 5 stars if tracked less. Have put down mats around trays, that make that far less of a problem.

Have been using it for years. Seems some people say it doesn't mask smell, if your cat doesn't bury its poo, then that is the only way you are going to smell anything, absolutely masks any smell of wee, and if your cat buries its poo, that too. Tracking is not good, it gets everywhere, but seems in this world you can't have everything. I still rate it at five *****
Very economical as there is no waste, you only have to remove the poo and the wee balls, the rest of the litter is untainted.
Worst cat litter
My usual wood cat litter hasn't been available lately, so I thought I'd give this a try. I think it is the worst cat litter I have ever had. The wee clumps it up, but then it stays wet instead of absorbing it like other products do! The litter tray ends up with these wet, very sticky clumps, and if you try to pick them up with the litter shovel, they stick to it and it's difficult to clean it off... awful! Thank god I only ordered the trial size! I should ask for my money back, really.

Very good cat litter
I don’t understand some reviews saying it doesn’t mask the smell because it does! Since using it I can’t smell the cat pee which used to smell strong before you entered the room, it’s flushable another bonus only issue with it is it tracks a lot but for me it’s not a deal breaker just need to sweep more often than before

Another fail try at an overhyped litter
I finally tried the Cat's Best as I am desperately trying to find an appropriate litter, that can do 3 basic things: clump well, mask smell, not trace. Well, Cat's Best is doing none of those. Even more, the tracing is the worst I've ever seen! I had to hoover 4x in one day and after not even 24h I've had enough of this litter and completely swapped it with another one.

Overall good litter but spreads a lot
I have one long haired kitten and I must admit that the odour control and clumping are far better than any clay or silica litter that I've tried out before. It is low dust and has a mild, pleasant smell. However I can't give it 5* as it spreads absolutely EVERYWHERE, meaning that I end up hoovering 4 times a day.

Best yet, but not quite perfect
I have tried several different litters for two elderly cats with failing kidneys and this is the best so far. I keep the litter at least 50mm deep, and it absorbs the copious urine reasonably well without turning into the sloppy, sticky mess I got with expensive clay-based litters. Poos tend to be very obvious, but as I have a dog who tries to beat me to them that is actually rather an advantage! Small bags are easier to handle than the giant sack. The downside is that it spreads everywhere.

Great mixer!
Got the trial pack as we usually use clumping fine granular litter. The litter travels all over the house. Mixed Cat’s best in with old granular litter to see how our 2 elderly cats were with it. Great result. Litter still travels but less granules and Cat’s best is easier to sweep up! It clumps well and is easy to clear out of litter tray with scoop. Will continue to use it in a mix.

First we used normal shop silicon litter but it was out of stock for 1.5 month so we needed to buy one from catsan but I hate it so then I saw cats best on zooplus and me and my cat love it 😻
But one thing with that litter is that better is to use it for closed litter boxes I used open and I was dying all over the house but with closed one is super

We used this cat litter for over 10 years with our six cats – unfortunately, the quality has noticeably gone downhill. It now creates a huge amount of dust, and the fine particles spread all around the litter boxes and throughout the room. The clumps fall apart quickly, and the odour control just isn’t as good as it used to be.
It’s a real shame – after more than 10 years, it’s time for our six furry friends to switch litter! 😿🐾 Let’s see if they’re happy with the new “toilet arrangements”. 😉

Unfortunately, we too have to say that the litter is no longer as good; the formula seems to have changed. What I regret most is that the odour control has gotten worse. The litter used to stay in the cat tray for well over a week before you could even smell any cat urine. Now, after just one or two days, the smell spreads in the room—not as bad as with regular clay litters, but still noticeably.

Best cat litter
We once tried an alternative product, also from Cat's Best, in pellet form. But this Cat's Best Original is simply the best cat litter. It smells like fresh wood. It's super absorbent, the clumps are easy to remove from the rest of the litter and don't smell in the collection bin. Even with two cats, the litter box only needs a thorough clean every four weeks. Economical despite the price.

We’re really happy with the litter – it clumps very well and lasts a long time, since you don’t have to empty the whole tray all the time. It does create a bit of dust, but it’s sooo much more pleasant than other types of litter we’ve used before. We’re very satisfied :)

I won't buy it again
It used to be good years ago, but now it's ridiculously expensive and the quality has dropped so much that it smells bad, doesn't clump, and turns to dust by the second day. My cats don't want it anymore and I'm not surprised. The whole house smells awful and that's another customer they've lost.

Cat's Best Litter
I bought this litter on the recommendation of friends who use it and praised its quality a lot. Unfortunately, for me and my cats, it turned out to be a nightmare. The litter was tracked not only all over the bathroom but throughout the entire flat, even though I had a special mat in front of the litter box. It looks like oat flakes and even behaves similarly when it gets wet. It doesn’t clump; yes, it forms a ball, but it’s muddy.
