This pellet litter is praised for being highly absorbent, dust-free, and not tracking, making it suitable for sifting trays. However, it is not clumping, leading to high consumption and odor issues. Some customers found it too coarse and unsuitable for their cats, causing reluctance to use the litter box. Despite mixed reviews, it offers a wood scent and can deter rodents and stray cats when used outdoors. Overall, opinions vary on its effectiveness.

Cat's Best is the BEST
There is no other pellet litter out there to match this. Highly absorbant, no smell, (you need to remove the poo which cause the smell obs). 100% quality item.

Best litter
God people are really not very intelligent, this is NOT CLUMPING LITTER, it’s for use with sifting trays and works perfectly as it should, no tracking either

Cat's Best Universal
I made a mistake with the order. I wanted the Cat's Best Smart Pellets. I still tried to use it, but my cats sniffed it once and never used the litter box again—I had to buy new litter straight away. It smells bad and turns mushy. Now I have two large bags that I can't use. Never again.

Cat's Best Pellets
I accidentally bought the pellets! Unfortunately, I find them unsuitable for the cat litter box! The pellets hardly absorb any liquid and can't be separated from faeces and urine in the litter box! This leads to higher consumption and promotes odour formation! On the plus side, they don't produce dust!

Not suitable for cats, not clumping litter. Doesn't absorb anything.
Completely unsuitable for my cats. The pellets are far too hard. They only went to the litter box reluctantly. Unfortunately, this just isn’t for us 🤔. Best regards

FOR SIEVE LITTER TRAY ONLY
Just to point out for others writing reviews - this litter isn't supposed to clump! It's for SIEVE LITTER TRAYS (the used litter softens as it should and passes through the sieve tray)!! IE CAN BE USED WITH A BRIT PET SIEVE LITTER TRAY - check out the website

Hygiene litter, plain and simple.
My three cats have five litter boxes: three with Betonin and two with this one. I regularly switch the Betonin brand and use this one as well, so they don’t get too used to one brand or type of litter and always have something different. The animal boarding facility currently uses this litter. It’s not their favourite, but it’s regularly used as an alternative. The leftovers are placed in the garden in specific spots, which keeps rodents and stray cats away.

Never again
It was the worst cat litter I’ve ever bought. It turns into powder.

Favourite litter
Smells nicely of wood, doesn’t create any dust, and because of its size, there’s no bedding scattered everywhere.

Absolutely nothing
The worst cat litter I’ve ever bought... it crumbles. Might be okay for burning in the oven, but definitely unsuitable as cat litter.

Has to be changed often
The pellets do not clump and turn to dust instead.
So the limiter box has to be changed regularly to avoid it getting too smelly.
Nice otherwise, no tracking.

6-7mm
If anyone's wondering: 6-7mm in diameter and about 0.5-3cm long. The new litter scoop should match these dimensions.
My tomcat initially didn’t want to accept it, as he was used to regular litter. For the first few times, I mixed in a bit of litter – then gradually less – and eventually none at all.
No more overpowering dust in the air, and the floor is finally walkable barefoot again.

The worst litter I've had in over 18 years!
The worst litter I've had in over 18 years!
I had to practically force my tomcat to use the litter box again; it's simply far too coarse for cats.
It's also extremely inadequate for faeces – it barely sticks and doesn't absorb any odour.
It doesn't clump at all; it just swells up, which makes it very unsuitable for disposal via the toilet.
Because it doesn't clump, I have an extremely high consumption compared to the other Cat's Best version.
I cannot recommend it.

Perfect
This cat litter is simply perfect. No more mess around the litter box or anywhere else in the flat.
On top of that, it’s one of the cheapest cat litters available.
So it’s a win-win.
Though I can’t understand how "Cat’s Best Smart Pellets" from the same company is the complete opposite. Expensive and creates more mess than any other cat litter ever before.

Doesn’t last long
Not great for cats. It doesn’t clump and pellets that have been wee’d on turn to dust so I had to do a full litter change every 5-7 days to stop it from getting smelly. I prefer the clumping variety.

Not as low-dust as advertised
I have a cat that's allergic to dust, and I was hoping the pellets would make things better. But unfortunately, they haven't. I expected more.

Not suitable as cat litter (Peewee)
Unfortunately, this litter is not suitable for the Peewee system.
1. It doesn’t reliably break down into dust but instead partially clumps together and has to be fished out.
2. It doesn’t reliably neutralise the smell of cat urine, making it impossible to clean the Peewee only once a week. The litter box isn’t full, but it starts to smell. The cat won’t use it anymore!
The original litter reliably breaks down and always smells fresh like wood, even when it’s full. Better to spend more money...
