Disappointed
Bought this due to reading good reviews both here and on some forums. I wonder if they've changed the production process as I found that, tracking-wise, it's nothing special, and it doesn't clump nearly as well as I'd hoped. I've tried other brands of a similar size and consistency and find the previous brand I used was better. The wee clumps seem to break apart when touched, which is rather annoying as they start falling through the scoop's sieve.
Also I noticed that, with Oko Plus, within a week it did not seem to be soaking all the wee up, as after scooping up the clumps holding to the base of the tray, it was leaving wet trails in the tray. This is only after less than a week's use and only by one albeit large kitten.
After I finish what I've got, I will be trying other brands or perhaps go back to what I was using originally.

Not bad litter, but crumbs scattered everywhere
Overall, I like the litter; it smells fresh like wood shavings, is pleasantly soft, and lighter than "normal" litter. Our cat accepted it straight away. However, because it's so lightweight, she spreads it around the flat much more than with conventional clumping litter. Additionally, the clumps in the tray are quite fragile and need to be removed carefully. Despite having a mat in front of the tray, the crumbs are still too annoying for me. They're in every corner of the flat. For this reason, I won't be buying this litter again.

My first choice
I’ve tried various types of litter, tested another wood-based litter a few weeks ago, but I’m sticking with CBÖ.

The best for the cat
We've been using it for years now and, along with our three furry friends, we're absolutely thrilled. Since we have British Shorthair cats, it doesn't get stuck in their fur. However, I can imagine it might with long-haired cats. It does spread a bit around the house, but I'm happy to accept that and don't see it as a drawback. After all, I vacuum every day anyway...

Completely satisfied
The litter is very economical, and the toilet doesn’t need to be completely refilled all the time, as the litter "indicates" when it’s time to do so by gradually becoming very crumbly over time.
Of course, some crumbs get scattered around the flat, but since the pieces are relatively large, they tend to fall off near the toilet and aren’t found everywhere.
Using a mat in front of the toilet reduces the problem even further.
We’ve been using Cats Best Öko Plus from the very beginning for our three tomcats and wouldn’t want anything else.

Never ever again!
So far, my two furry friends have always had very fine clumping litter in their litter tray. In 10 years, there’s never been any issues with the cats being unclean. Until... now!
Unfortunately, Cat's Best Öko Plus isn’t being accepted at all. Instead, the shower or other spots are suddenly more appealing. The cats’ attempts to do their business in the litter tray only resulted in this very coarse cat litter being scattered all over the flat.
Such a shame, as the environmentally friendly aspect remains out of reach. Now it’s off to the shop to get some different cat litter. I don’t even dare offer the freshly opened 40-litre bag to the animal shelter.

Very good litter with a small (easily fixable) drawback
Very good litter. Our cats love it. It smells very pleasant and yes, it does spread throughout the flat OR you can get a small rug for 3 - 4 € and place it in front of the litter boxes, and then 99.5% stays on the rug and hardly anything scatters around the flat. Unfortunately, the 60L has become more expensive :/

Good litter, my cats accepted it straight away.
Our three cats immediately accepted the litter. It’s efficient and has a natural wood scent. There’s no odour coming from the litter boxes for several days. It clumps very quickly, and the clumps can be easily and swiftly removed. The litter is lightweight and does spread around the house, but a big advantage compared to other litter is that it doesn’t scratch our wooden floors.

I don't agree with the majority of reviews
I decided to try this litter because of the high rate of excellent reviews here and on the Finnish site, but wish I'd have bought the smaller bag so I could use it up quicker.
Initially, the smell was horrible. The whole basement stunk terribly for over a week. Very strangely, the smell went away and hasn't recurred.
The big problem now is the tracking. I've never had a problem with tracking with other litters in the many years I've had cats. This stuff is all over the basement and up the stairs; it's driving me crazy! I'm looking forward to when this bag is used up.

Never again *** Litter spreads all over the flat!!!
After reading the numerous positive reviews, I decided to try this litter myself, but I absolutely couldn’t share the enthusiasm. The litter stuck to the fur and between the paws of my Maine Coon cats and, despite having litter mats, was spread all over the flat. I would never buy it again!

Never again for us... it gets everywhere in the house!!
More than 2,000 positive reviews can't be wrong. Maybe. I didn't even get as far as filling the entire litter box with it. I mixed it with bentonite litter to get used to it, and CBÖP is scattered ALL OVER the flat!!
Apparently, it's either too light or has a rough surface? Despite using a Cleanstep litter box and a mat, it can't be shaken off. It really clings to the fur of my long-haired cat.
I would have loved the wood scent, but unfortunately, I can't stand having the granules everywhere. On the floor, on the bed, on the sofa!!

This litter is the best I've ever used and I've used quite a few!!
It clumps well as long as your cat is healthy!! I.e. One of mine had bladder crystals so it wasn't so good then due to the small quantities of urine. He is fixed now and this litter is brilliant as I can tell imediately if he is having any difficulty. The only negative is that they do tend to throw it out of the litter box but that is a small price to pay for an otherwise excellent product. Highly recommend it.

Trails like there is no tomorrow
I was looking for a biodegradable alternative for World's best. My ragdoll is not a messy litter user and we have never had problem with litter getting everywhere in the flat until I bought this. It clumps ok, but not to solidly, so you need to watch out when scooping out and it trails TERRIBLY. I had cat litter all over the flat and all over the cat. He did not seem to mind too much, but I cannot vacuum everyday. It seems the difference in price means difference in quality

more quality of living
Let’s be honest, having a litter box in the flat isn’t exactly great for the indoor air quality, especially when the cat carries a breeze out with them... 😅
However, we’re absolutely thrilled with the pleasantly woody scent of the Öko Plus litter. Before, we tried clumping litter with added fragrances meant to mask the typical toilet odour, but since switching to Cat’s Best, we all feel much more comfortable. No unpleasant wafts of smell drifting towards you while you’re sitting on the sofa.
The new litter is also much more economical. You only dispose of a minimal amount of shavings.
We won’t buy anything else now. The furry ones accepted it without any fuss.

Used immediately!
Wanted to find a cat litter that was environmentally friendly, and also easy to clean from the tray.
Previously were using a supermarket own brand word pellet style. Was perfectly happy with it but thought would try something new.
Improvement is that rather than becoming loose, damp wood dust, this does form clumps - much easier to remove!
There is a little bit of tracking, but we have hardwood floors, and it's day to sweep a few grains up.
Our cats are both allowed out during the day, so the litter tray is mostly used at night. However, one appears to like this litter so much has used it twice in two day (since we had it) when she had access to the outdoors. I took that as an endorsement :-)

great litter but be careful of the claims made!
I think this litter is fantastic and wouldn't use anything else, there's no smell from the tray and although it tracks a little bit I don't find it a problem, maybe as I have wooden floors so it can be swept up easily. It lasts for ages too.
But please be careful of the claims that you can flush it!! I used to flush the clumps down the loo but recently had a nasty blockage and had to pay a big bill to get it cleared. The man informed me it was most likely due to the litter and not to do this again! took about 3 years for this to happen but still it was a hassle and expense I could have done without.

Best I've used
I clean clumps out as soon as I see them and have had no residual smells. This is the first litter I can say that about!!
The litter is soft and I like the fact it's biodegradable.
It does track a little but on my wooden floors that is easily swept up and is preferable to gritty particles getting trodden in.

Got totally bad quality!!!!
It used to be the best cat litter on the market! Now it's just rubbish! And the price has stayed the same! Outrageous!!!

Hit & Miss
Been using this litter for quite a while & found it to be great for my 3 Maine Coons. But recently it's not clumping as well & tracking far more :(

Good bedding with few flaws
I previously used a conventional clumping litter (Professional Classic Cat Litter with Odour Absorber). Compared to that, Cat's Best Öko Plus has some advantages but also disadvantages.
Less mess: Cat's Best is made of large, lightweight flakes that don’t get carried as far around the flat by the cat, unlike the sandy consistency of silica litter.
It’s 100% dust-free.
It’s lighter (great if you live on the 3rd floor!).
I think it absorbs very well.
You can dispose of it in the organic waste bin, and even the cat waste can go down the toilet.
My tomcat is fine with both types of litter.
However, the odour control of the eco-litter isn’t as good as the Classic litter, which means I have to clean the litter box very often to avoid constantly having to top up the litter.
Which brings me to the final point: the price. Cat's Best Öko Plus is significantly more expensive than conventional litter, and I can’t confirm that it lasts longer either.
All in all, I would still recommend this product to environmentally conscious cat owners.
