Not suitable for long-haired cats
Clumps very well, but sticks to the fur.

Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter
This has to be the best cat litter we have tried. Cheaper litters are a complete waste of money. We have two cats who share a tray and a 40 litre bag lasts us exactly 12 weeks, which works out at £2 a week, so it's not expensive at all. It forms a complete ball of urine which is so easy to just scoop out, and covers up lingering smells too, I've found the secret is too have a good 4 inches of litter in the tray so the urine doesn't reach the bottom when they go for a pee, so this keeps the litter underneath dry, (no soggy mess at the bottom of tray as with other litters). I do a scoop of the tray 3 times a day which helps keep things fresh, sanitise once a week and top up as required, my cats are happy, so we are happy, it does track about the floor near the tray, but that's what a dust pan and brush are for (get a long handled one so no bending). Certainly will be sticking with this litter.

Oko cat litter
I ve used cheaper cat litters in the past and found they work out dearer in the end. No smell off litter tray with this litter

Cat Best Litter
Hello! I tried Cats Best and love the convenience of disposing it via the toilet – it saves you from needing a disposal bin. I’ll stick with this product, but the Cats Best Mini Pellets are even better. The handling is the same, but the litter is carried significantly less into the flat. Thanks to the shape of the pellets, it stays on the mat and keeps things much cleaner. I have a British Shorthair tomcat, and it works very well for me. Unfortunately, you don’t have the Cats Best Mini Pellets for long-haired cats in your range. Maybe sometime in the future. Cheers, Denise – your customer from Gotha in Thuringia.

Lately very dusty
I’ve been using Cat's Best Öko Plus cat litter for more than 10 years and was always satisfied. But lately, it’s become so dusty that both we and the cats are constantly sneezing and coughing. So unfortunately, we’ll have to switch to something else.

This is THE WORST LITTER, EVER!
I am gobsmacked by all the glowing reviews of this horrible litter! It is awful! It has the consistency of polystyrene crossed with cardboard. So the pieces are huge and strangely lightweight, causing it to become readily airborne and oh-so-attracted to cat fur.
For being so light and eager to cling to fur it is useless at the job clumping together for pee and doesn't cling to poo enough to help with the smell. This also caused the problem of my cat feeling like she hadn’t properly buried it so she circled round, digging incessantly, flinging this rubbish litter everywhere… outside of a COVERED litter box!
I thought it would be better for a Persian cat because there would be less dust than clay-based litter but nothing is worth this mess.
I wish I had seen a review like this and spared myself a big waste of time and money.

Best cat litter
Me and my two tomcats are completely satisfied with this litter... even when both cats have used it, you don’t smell a thing... just the scent of wood. Plus, a 40-litre bag lasts well over 2 months, whereas with other brands, smaller packs (20 litres) didn’t even last a month and were noticeably heavier.
I can only recommend this litter.

Great value for money
I was fed up with the smell of conventional litter, and the consumption with two indoor cats was not to be underestimated.
I made a radical switch. At first, it was met with some scepticism, but in the end, they accepted it. The pee clumps are less than half the size they used to be, and the smell is still great even after six weeks. I regularly top it up a bit, but a complete clean hasn’t been necessary yet (with conventional litter, it was every 1-2 weeks). Disposal via the toilet works without any issues. Definitely the right decision!

Award-winning litter after trying everything out
I can wholeheartedly recommend this litter to everyone. Firstly, it's environmentally friendly, and secondly, it saves money because it's incredibly long-lasting. We use it for our two British Shorthair cats for 3-4 weeks in the litter tray, only scooping out the clumps every morning. Even in the third week, the litter still smells fresh, and our little darlings are happy to use the toilet :). The best part is that we don't constantly need waste bags since we dispose of the clumps via our toilet. It's just brilliant, especially since the cat litter tray is right next to our toilet.
So it saves both money and time :)
As a third point, I can say that it spreads much less around the house compared to other litters, like the ones with baby powder. I used to be vacuuming all the time! Now it's much more relaxed. We've truly tried everything – from very expensive brands to budget litter from Netto!
This is hands down the best!!! Our little darlings love it!

Long-lasting, yes, clumps very well, but the litter absorbs odour extremely after one week.
Personally, I was thrilled with the product, but unfortunately, our two indoor cats were not.
At first, it was surprisingly well received, and I was impressed. I also find the handling/disposal much more convenient compared to other litters, but it doesn’t stay "fresh" as long as I had hoped.
Apparently, one of our tomcats wasn’t impressed anymore after just about a week and started using pretty much every other corner of our flat to do his business. On top of that, there are crumbs everywhere, despite having a mat and vacuuming twice a day (which, admittedly, isn’t my ideal scenario either).
All in all, unfortunately, it’s not for us. That’s why only 3 stars – but for more relaxed, low-maintenance cats, maybe 4 or 5. Such a shame...

Good cat litter
The cat litter clumps well and doesn’t create any dust. Our cat (Maine Coon-Persian mix) has taken to it nicely. Occasionally, a crumb gets stuck in his fur, but that happened with other types of cat litter too. At least it doesn’t stick to his paws. It doesn’t smell at all—just like wood, which is pleasant. It doesn’t spread around the flat as much either. There’s always a bit of litter scattered around, but I haven’t found any litter yet that doesn’t end up spreading in the flat. The only downside is that it’s very hard if you step on it barefoot.

Pleasantly surprised
We tried various types of litter and I was curious to see if this one could really deliver on its promises. I was especially sceptical about whether it would actually clump, as I couldn’t imagine how that would work with wood. But it does clump very nicely, as it dissolves when wet and then sort of reforms itself. Since it dissolves in water, you can easily dispose of individual clumps in the toilet from time to time.
It also doesn’t absorb the urine smell like most sand-based litter does; instead, it still smells pleasantly of wood even after some time.
What I also find very convenient is that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the litter tray like other clumping litters but always stays loose. The wood pieces are coarse enough that they don’t get stuck between the cat’s paws and dragged all over the house.
I’m really impressed and will definitely be buying this from now on!

The latest batch was bad again.
I bought this litter here in Spain the last few times, so I don’t know which batch it came from. Like the previous two orders, this one was also relatively poor. Even when taking the litter out, you can tell that a large portion is basically just dust. It doesn’t clump nearly as well anymore either.
As far as I can remember, only the first order from one or two years ago was actually good.
The litter has another downside: if you use it in a closed cat litter box with a "roof," it quickly absorbs unpleasant odours. After just a few days, the litter box smells awful. The fact that it’s right around the corner behind my desk doesn’t help either. I think I won’t be buying this litter again in the future. Such a shame.

Cat's Best really is the best for cats.
Absolutely top-notch! Wonderful wood scent, even when the litter box hasn’t been cleaned for two days (with two indoor cats). Very economical, clumps well, and saves on litter! Thanks to the natural wood material, no more blockages when my tomcat decides to eat some of it (...) ^^
However, not recommended for long-haired cats, as it’s very lightweight and ends up literally EVERYWHERE in the flat. In that case, it’s better to go for Cat's Best Nature Gold :)
That’s why I’ve now switched to that one.

Over 30 years of cat experience
In terms of effectiveness (price/durability), compostability, odour neutrality or binding, handling, and weight, this product is unbeatable!!!!!
If you don’t switch, you don’t deserve better. Tip for transitioning: First, the person opening the tins needs to be 100% positive about the switch. Cats can sense it. Then, transition weekly by adding a scoop at a time (stick to it honestly, and even the fussy ones will adapt).
Tip for cleaning: Tilt the litter box so unused litter trickles away, and the clumps or lumps can be neatly removed.
For germ removal, after the initial cleaning, simply rinse the litter trays or lids with boiling hot water (tip from the Vet.Med.UniVienna).

Highly recommended
This litter is absolutely perfect for my priorities.
It doesn’t smell at all, and if anything, it has a slight woody scent. It binds really well and is super easy to dispose of.
Compared to conventional litter, it’s a complete 180-degree turnaround.
I’m genuinely very satisfied – it’s worth every penny!

So far, the best litter!
When you walk into our flat, you almost fall backwards. The stench of pee and poo is unbearable – even though I clean the litter box 2 to 3 times a day. What now?
After trying out various options for ages, we finally bought Cats Best litter and are thrilled so far!
• It smells like a lovely walk in the woods (my boyfriend says it smells like a wood workshop) and isn’t too overpowering
• Nice and airy, loose, and very lightweight
• Clumps wonderfully and is easy to clean
• Very economical. No more massive clumps that leave the litter box almost empty after three days
• The pee clumps smell like wood and no longer give off any unpleasant odour
• The big business goes straight into the human toilet and gets flushed away. No smell anymore.

Beware of claims
I tried this as an alternative to Worlds Best which is also flushable and brilliant in terms of clumping and odour- but this was on an offer so thought would give it a try. Firstly, it doesn't really clump. The wee just makes a mush which is virtually impossible to scoop. Secondly, it trails everywhere. Got though the whole house. Thirdly. I only flushed a small amount and the toilet quickly blocked leaving a foul smell and water bubbling up through the sink. Would never use again. Gave a sack of it away. Gone back to worlds best which is completely flushanle in small amounts, clumps brilliant and leaves no odour. Even better it doesn't making my house smell like a pumping station. Don't waste your money.

Cat litter Cat's Best Öko Plus
So far, the best litter I've ever used. Even my 4-year-old cat is thrilled – with this litter, she completely buries her mess, which she never did with the other types of litter.

Best cat litter of all
We've had our tomcat for a good six months now and during this time we've tried various types of litter. None of them came close to this one: it's very economical, clumps reliably, binds odours (has a pleasant natural wood scent), is easy to dispose of (doesn't stick to the bottom of the toilet!), and is gentle on cat paws.
As for the issue of "the granules spreading all over the flat": it was the same with every other type of litter, whether tiny pellets, crystals, or corn litter. A small doormat reduces this to a minimum.
We and our cat are thrilled with Cat's Best Öko Plus and can wholeheartedly recommend this litter!
