With long-haired cats, it's a nightmare
I’ve moved away from this litter now because it sticks to the fur of Maine Coons and gets spread all over the flat. I had to vacuum several times a day, even with rugs in front of the litter boxes and top-entry toilets. Disposal via the toilet only works smoothly with smaller clumps and amounts; otherwise, there’s a risk of blockage. Additionally, the litter breaks down more and more over time, meaning it has to be completely replaced once a week because it gets so dusty and the clumping no longer works properly.

Different production batches?
After more than 10 years of enthusiastic use, the last 3 bags were no longer usable. Poor clumping, very dusty, the cats spread the litter all over the flat within a day – it never used to be like this. Since many other customers, according to the reviews, don’t seem to have these issues, I wonder if there are significant fluctuations in production quality, which really shouldn’t be the case. I’m honestly frustrated.

After trying many other litters, I stuck with Cat's Best.
After decades of having indoor cats and testing countless types of litter, here’s my conclusion:
1. Clumping litter is the cleanest and most hygienic option. However, you should remove clumps 2-3 times a day.
2. Wood litter is the best choice. It’s lighter, less dusty, and more environmentally friendly than pretty much anything else available.
3. Cat's Best Öko Plus is the best wood-based clumping litter – almost. I’ve found imitators from the drugstore with smaller granules that stick even more to the fur. The only thing I like better is Cat's Best Nature Gold…

Doesn't clump as much as it used to.
I don’t know what the manufacturer has changed about the product, but it’s definitely gotten worse. The clumps are no longer as pronounced and break apart more easily, which makes collecting them unnecessarily difficult. I’ll probably have to look for a different manufacturer.

Super Litter
I ordered this litter for the first time, and I have to say, it's the best litter out there. It's very economical, and my tomcat accepted it without any issues. My tomcat and I can wholeheartedly recommend it, no ifs or buts. Please never take it out of the range. 5 stars and more!

love the litter but not for my furry Ragdoll.
What a shame! The litter itself was brilliant but had to stop using it after only 2 days as it set into my Ragdolls fur. His lovely belly fuzz was covered and it set in there like concrete, so He wasn't best pleased when we had to cut it alll out! i would still recommend it but for kitties only.

Super Litter
We've been buying it for a long time and are very satisfied. Our tomcat doesn't want anything else—organic and no artificial smell.
Simply top-notch!

Great cat litter
The litter clumps wonderfully, doesn’t create dust, and binds all odours without any issues. We are extremely satisfied with its performance.

There are better options, but it's alright.
I’ve used this litter for many years, but I was always very unhappy with the extreme tracking effect. I even found the litter in my bed at times... Occasionally, a clump would completely fall apart as well. I’ve now switched to Tigerino Nuggies (the fine one, not the coarse one) and I’m very satisfied with it. I’ll also give Tigerino Canada a try at some point.

No, thank you.
Are all the positive reviews here real? I just can’t understand them. It doesn’t clump well, it falls apart, and loads of tiny clumps form—sometimes just two or three grains stuck together, barely visible but unhygienic if left in the toilet. It feels like wallpaper paste has been mixed in. Slimy and sticky. It’s not very economical either. With just one cat using it and only for peeing, I needed one refill within a week.

Always smells fresh like wood.
No odour, even in the evening when the urine has been in there for a while. It absorbs well, and the granules are soft if you step on them barefoot. The cat litter box is in my bathroom, you see. With bentonite or silica litter, it really hurts, in my opinion.
And it’s very economical—I just top it up for two weeks and then empty it completely. The fact that it’s compostable is also great.

Something's changed?
I used to love this litter and put up with the tracking because the odour control was excellent and it was very economical. Unfortunately the last two bags I got don't seem to be as good. The odour control hasn't been a good which I think is because it's not clumping as well and turning to sawdust very quickly. I have an XL tray and when your having to empty and refill such a big tray every week it gets costly! I hope you fix so I can come back to this brand!

Many advantages!
Cat's Best Öko Plus cat litter was well received by my two kittens. It’s low in dust, economical, and environmentally friendly. I find the light, woody scent very pleasant. Unlike, for example, bentonite litter, it doesn’t start to smell so unpleasant when combined with cat urine, which was very important to me in my search for good litter. I’m satisfied!

My favourite
This litter is absolutely brilliant! At the moment, my cats prefer a different litter, but I’m hoping they’ll come back to this one because the odour control is really excellent, and there’s also less litter sticking to their paws compared to, say, silica litter. For one cat, the litter lasts 3 weeks to 1 month in the tray. After that, I’d definitely recommend changing it.

Great litter
I used this litter for a long time for our two tomcats. The plant-based litter is very lightweight and has irregular grains. However, due to its structure and lightness, it sticks to their paws or fur, and the cats end up spreading it all over the flat. Odours are well absorbed, and the litter itself is very economical to use.

Lives up to its promises
I mix this litter with Cat's Best Nature Gold. Of course, you occasionally find some around the house since it’s quite lightweight. But that’s the trade-off for being "natural litter" and not clay-based litter. So, if you value plant-based litter, this is perfect for you. I have 5 Turkish Angora cats and 1 domestic shorthair.

Doesn't clump very well
Get rid of the smell really good and I prefer plant based cat litter.
However it tracks a lot and doesn't clump properly which become really messy when I try to scoop out my cat urine.
It is really wired that the clumping power is more powerful for the 10l bag and the 40l bag is not that good.
