Disappointed
Been using this for years now but the last few purchases have been really disappointing. Very find sawdust particles within the larger particles is to be expected but ive practically had 2 large litter trays of predominantly the sawdust stuff. Doesnt seem to like clumping any more either. Guess it's time to try a different brand 😕

Super stuff ;)
I am absolutely thrilled with Cat's Best Öko Plus. The only downside is the fine wood flakes that get scattered around the flat – thankfully, vacuum cleaners were invented for a reason.
In my case, however, it’s actually an advantage (stroke in 2015), as it keeps me moving.
Compared to clumping litter, I have about 3/4 less waste, and it’s incredibly lightweight.
I can only recommend it.

This is our first cat Russian Blue we have used this litter for a year now.I get the 30ltr bag or the 40 with the 20 combined. It's cheap and lasts well with no smell. Yes it tracks a little but it clumps very well. I lift out wee clumps and poo every night before bed and complete change every two weeks. The cat loves it. It is a bit dusty sometimes but if you drop from height outside the wind blows the dust away. Will continue to use this great product.

Clumps very poorly!
I bought this product a while ago and it used to clump really well. Recently, I bought it again and I have to say it clumps very poorly now! Not to mention that the litter gets scattered everywhere. But what really annoys me is when I clean the tray and the clumps just fall apart! Plus, it kicked up quite a bit of dust when I was pouring it in!

not entirely satisfied...
Although I only use this litter, I’ve noticed that it spreads everywhere in the flat, even on the bed...
I’m constantly busy sweeping, mopping, and changing the bedding.
Everything else about this litter is good, especially the convenient disposal of it...

Unfortunately, not so good.
Smells unpleasant as soon as it gets wet and it sticks to my cat everywhere, so he spreads it all over the place.

Never using another cat litter again!
I was always on the lookout for good cat litter but never really found the right one – either the smell after use was very unpleasant, or it wasn’t accepted, or it wasn’t economical and I had to spend a fortune, or it was incredibly dusty, or... until I discovered Cat's Best Öko Plus. My two tomcats and I are very, very satisfied. It never smells unpleasant, is incredibly easy to dispose of and clean, and best of all, it’s so economical, making it super cost-effective.

Many years of enthusiasm, unfortunately not anymore.
This litter has accompanied my two furry friends for a good 16 years. It clumped very well, and the chunks from the big business could be disposed of directly in the toilet. Despite the high price, it was very economical. Waaaar!!!!! For my new little kitty, I naturally wanted this litter too, but what can I say? It doesn’t clump as well anymore, and since I’ve set up a second toilet with a fine-grained ultra-clumping litter, my tiger won’t go into the Cat’s Best Öko Plus anymore.

Best and most economical cat litter I have tried
This is a great product. Not only is it eco-friendly and all natural, but it is also very economical. My first 30 litre bag has lasted more than 4 weeks already, because you don't need to clear out the whole tray after your cat has used it. Will definitely continue to buy this product and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I love It!
I've only used two types of litter, clay and this one. It made me realise how little mess this one actually makes in comparison. In love that the waste can be flushed down the toilet, and I only need to do a complete change ever 3/4 weeks as it does indeed stay fresh and it lasts. I've had my large bag for 8 weeks now and I've still got a quarter left.

Great litter, but the flat looks like a bomb's hit it!
We used this litter for 2 years. It’s convenient because we disposed of the waste directly into the toilet, which meant there were never any odours. However, the litter is very light and fine, so it always sticks to the paws (no matter what clever things you put in front of the litter box) and ends up everywhere (and I mean EVERYWHERE) in the flat. I vacuumed 1-2 times a day. A heavier material with the same properties would be great.

Cat litter
I think the cat litter is great. The cats accepted it without any issues, even though they previously had a different one. It clumps well, controls odour, and basically does what it’s supposed to. What I particularly like is that I can easily dispose of it in the toilet!

With long-haired cats, it's a nightmare
I’ve moved away from this litter now because it sticks to the fur of Maine Coons and gets spread all over the flat. I had to vacuum several times a day, even with rugs in front of the litter boxes and top-entry toilets. Disposal via the toilet only works smoothly with smaller clumps and amounts; otherwise, there’s a risk of blockage. Additionally, the litter breaks down more and more over time, meaning it has to be completely replaced once a week because it gets so dusty and the clumping no longer works properly.

Different production batches?
After more than 10 years of enthusiastic use, the last 3 bags were no longer usable. Poor clumping, very dusty, the cats spread the litter all over the flat within a day – it never used to be like this. Since many other customers, according to the reviews, don’t seem to have these issues, I wonder if there are significant fluctuations in production quality, which really shouldn’t be the case. I’m honestly frustrated.

After trying many other litters, I stuck with Cat's Best.
After decades of having indoor cats and testing countless types of litter, here’s my conclusion:
1. Clumping litter is the cleanest and most hygienic option. However, you should remove clumps 2-3 times a day.
2. Wood litter is the best choice. It’s lighter, less dusty, and more environmentally friendly than pretty much anything else available.
3. Cat's Best Öko Plus is the best wood-based clumping litter – almost. I’ve found imitators from the drugstore with smaller granules that stick even more to the fur. The only thing I like better is Cat's Best Nature Gold…

Doesn't clump as much as it used to.
I don’t know what the manufacturer has changed about the product, but it’s definitely gotten worse. The clumps are no longer as pronounced and break apart more easily, which makes collecting them unnecessarily difficult. I’ll probably have to look for a different manufacturer.
