Good litter
After trying all sorts of litter, I came across this one.
It’s well-suited for us.
Above all, it doesn’t smell as strong as others, not even when it’s been used. Clumps well and is easy to remove. My two little tigers love it.

This is the best cat litter I’ve ever had. There’s hardly any smell, and the litter clumps perfectly.

THE BEST LITTER!!!!
After experiencing the disgust of Catsan, this litter immediately won me over! You really don’t smell anything at all. It clumps perfectly and is very economical to use.

The best cat litter!!
I’ve tried a lot of cat litter, but this is by far the absolute best. I’m really happy with it, and my two indoor cats are as well!

Super!!!!! and @ Christiane:
To Christiane regarding the following entry from 26/01/05: I hope you read this. I don’t know how else I could reach you. You wrote this in your review:
"Well, I use this litter as bedding for the rabbit cage. I’ve tried a lot of things before, and everything was rubbish. But this is ideal for rabbits because it clumps, removes odours, and is super easy to take out when you want to clean the cage. With regular bedding, I had to clean the rabbits every day, but now only every other day. I just take out the clumps, top up if necessary, and that’s it. No more nasty smells. Simply brilliant.

I want to share the same information with all small animal/rodent owners: Do NOT use clumping litter for rodents!!! If they eat it (hemp is often eaten), it clumps in their stomach/intestines and can be fatal!!!!
I would absolutely love to use this litter for my bunnies because I’m still searching for THE perfect bedding for them. But for my cats, this litter is simply 1 AAA!!!!
I’ve never had more efficient litter, even though I’ve been using clumping litter for years. The smell and texture (dry and wet) take some getting used to, but it was worth trying this out for me. It clumps immediately, so it doesn’t even reach the bottom. I have less litter outside the box than before, and it no longer smells like urine, even after being away for several days.
For cats (who like it), I think it’s simply fantastic and won’t be switching again *thumbs up*

Super product
The clumping feature is great for me and my cats, I don't need as much litter as with other brands and don't have to change it completely as often.

Super
I think this litter is really great. It clumps very well and doesn’t smell. I was amazed at how light a ten-litre bag can actually be. :))

My Favourite
My kitties and I are absolute fans of this litter. It smells pleasant, clumps really well, doesn’t create dust, and isn’t as hard under their paws as other litters.
Since our pet shop no longer stocked this cat litter, I thought I’d check online for it.
I ended up here thanks to a friend and I’m really glad I did. The cat litter is almost 5 euros cheaper here than in the shop :o)

Excellent product
Finally, a cat litter that doesn’t start smelling straight away and doesn’t need to be completely replaced all the time.
You just shake the litter tray gently back and forth and can easily and hygienically remove the "urine clumps." If you do this regularly, 1-2 times a day (it’s absolutely no hassle, as it only takes a few seconds), the tray stays clean and doesn’t smell at all. The urine also doesn’t seep down to the bottom like it does with other types of litter. Brilliant!!! However, I would prefer if the granules were a bit larger, as they tend to stick between the paws and get carried around. For long-haired cats, it’s best to test it cautiously at first.

It would be very good if not...
... as some others have already mentioned, the litter doesn’t get spread all over the flat! It smells nice (I like the wood scent), and the clumps are super easy to remove. With twice-daily cleaning, I only need to completely replace the litter every two weeks (two cats, two litter boxes)... And last but not least: The cats seem to like it too; they accepted it straight away. But – as mentioned above – it’s probably a bit too light, so it’s not just scattered evenly around the litter boxes but really almost all over the flat... Luckily, there are handheld vacuum cleaners...

Cats don't bury things :-(
The PROS: The litter is very light – a big plus for me since I don’t have a car. I find the light wood scent pleasant. Clumping properties are fine. You don’t notice any urine smell. The scattered litter crumbs around the flat aren’t any more bothersome than with other types of litter.
The CONS: When the cats do a poo in the Öko Plus, they usually don’t bury it... instead, they prefer to use the other litter box with clay litter. (There are no issues with wee.) Also, the dust could be less.
Looks like I’ll have to go along with the cats and buy something else soon...

Big disappointment
We’ve now tried Cats Best Öko Plus as well, and we’re deeply disappointed! When our kitty does her business, the whole house stinks, and the litter gets scattered everywhere. Looks like we’ll have to keep searching.

The cat doesn't like it!
The best thing about this litter is that it's so lightweight. I find the wood smell too strong; I’d prefer odourless litter. I didn’t find it dusty. The clumping is fine overall, but sifting out the clumps is difficult because it’s so coarse and sticky that even the unused portion stays in the scoop. Additionally, it immediately spreads in large amounts in front of the litter box. But the worst part: one of my two indoor cats hates it and now only uses the other box. She decides: I won’t buy it again.

Very satisfied
The litter smells exceptionally pleasant and is extremely absorbent. My two indoor cats accepted it completely from one day to the next and seem very happy with it as well. Additionally, it’s not very "painful" to step on with bare feet, and it doesn’t crumble. All in all, I’ll definitely stick with it.

Is there anything better?
As I wrote a few months ago, CB is the best cat litter for me. Every now and then, I try out other litters because my four tomcats drag Cats Best all over the flat. Recently, I used Biokats Fresh and Thomas Clumping Litter for a while. At first, they weren’t bad either, but after a while, the clumps kept falling apart when scooping them out. With Cats Best, you can easily remove the clumps and reuse the used litter without having to throw away all the litter from the litter boxes. I only try out other litter sometimes because I feel like I could vacuum three times a day. That’s a bit annoying. But my cats really like the litter. The litter from Extreme Classic isn’t bad either, just a bit pricey.

...looking for bedding...
5 cats, 2 litter boxes, and the endless search for the perfect cat litter... I’ve now tested this litter, and I can’t say it spreads all over the flat, but you could scoop out handfuls of sawdust from the box if you wanted to. It’s so dusty that one of my cats sneezes immediately, and in the end, only *one* cat regularly uses this litter box. The rest crowd around the other box, where I’m currently testing Classy Cat litter, which I find better. I actually liked CBÖP in terms of smell and handling (apart from the dust and sawdust), and I appreciated that the 40-litre bag is very light. The clumping isn’t the best, but it’s OK. So – the search continues.

TOP bedding
I can only recommend this clumping litter to every cat owner. After a few missteps that smelled to high heaven, I bought a small bag of CBÖP. My cat accepted it immediately. It has a woody scent, but not overpowering.
The clumps are very easy to remove and don’t crumble at all. This makes the litter extremely economical. Even after two weeks, a complete replacement isn’t necessary (with twice-daily cleaning). Simply refill the removed litter after the weekly hot wash — done.
We’re sticking with it. A large sack (40L) has already been delivered. It lasts forever, and the price ends up being worth it.

Clumping litter
I bought Cat's Best Öko Plus for the first time and I'm really impressed.
My cat took to it straight away. The litter box is also no longer heavy, unlike with conventional clumping litter.
