It would be very good if not...
... as some others have already mentioned, the litter doesn’t get spread all over the flat! It smells nice (I like the wood scent), and the clumps are super easy to remove. With twice-daily cleaning, I only need to completely replace the litter every two weeks (two cats, two litter boxes)... And last but not least: The cats seem to like it too; they accepted it straight away. But – as mentioned above – it’s probably a bit too light, so it’s not just scattered evenly around the litter boxes but really almost all over the flat... Luckily, there are handheld vacuum cleaners...

Cats don't bury things :-(
The PROS: The litter is very light – a big plus for me since I don’t have a car. I find the light wood scent pleasant. Clumping properties are fine. You don’t notice any urine smell. The scattered litter crumbs around the flat aren’t any more bothersome than with other types of litter.
The CONS: When the cats do a poo in the Öko Plus, they usually don’t bury it... instead, they prefer to use the other litter box with clay litter. (There are no issues with wee.) Also, the dust could be less.
Looks like I’ll have to go along with the cats and buy something else soon...

Big disappointment
We’ve now tried Cats Best Öko Plus as well, and we’re deeply disappointed! When our kitty does her business, the whole house stinks, and the litter gets scattered everywhere. Looks like we’ll have to keep searching.

The cat doesn't like it!
The best thing about this litter is that it's so lightweight. I find the wood smell too strong; I’d prefer odourless litter. I didn’t find it dusty. The clumping is fine overall, but sifting out the clumps is difficult because it’s so coarse and sticky that even the unused portion stays in the scoop. Additionally, it immediately spreads in large amounts in front of the litter box. But the worst part: one of my two indoor cats hates it and now only uses the other box. She decides: I won’t buy it again.

Very satisfied
The litter smells exceptionally pleasant and is extremely absorbent. My two indoor cats accepted it completely from one day to the next and seem very happy with it as well. Additionally, it’s not very "painful" to step on with bare feet, and it doesn’t crumble. All in all, I’ll definitely stick with it.

Simply brilliant
I use this litter as bedding for the rabbit cage. I've tried a lot of other products before, and they were all rubbish. But this one is ideal for the rabbits because it clumps, eliminates odours, and is super easy to remove when you want to clean the cage. With regular litter, I had to clean the rabbits every day, but now only every other day. I just take out the clumps, top up a bit if needed, and that's it. No more nasty smells. Simply brilliant!

Is there anything better?
As I wrote a few months ago, CB is the best cat litter for me. Every now and then, I try out other litters because my four tomcats drag Cats Best all over the flat. Recently, I used Biokats Fresh and Thomas Clumping Litter for a while. At first, they weren’t bad either, but after a while, the clumps kept falling apart when scooping them out. With Cats Best, you can easily remove the clumps and reuse the used litter without having to throw away all the litter from the litter boxes. I only try out other litter sometimes because I feel like I could vacuum three times a day. That’s a bit annoying. But my cats really like the litter. The litter from Extreme Classic isn’t bad either, just a bit pricey.

...looking for bedding...
5 cats, 2 litter boxes, and the endless search for the perfect cat litter... I’ve now tested this litter, and I can’t say it spreads all over the flat, but you could scoop out handfuls of sawdust from the box if you wanted to. It’s so dusty that one of my cats sneezes immediately, and in the end, only *one* cat regularly uses this litter box. The rest crowd around the other box, where I’m currently testing Classy Cat litter, which I find better. I actually liked CBÖP in terms of smell and handling (apart from the dust and sawdust), and I appreciated that the 40-litre bag is very light. The clumping isn’t the best, but it’s OK. So – the search continues.

TOP bedding
I can only recommend this clumping litter to every cat owner. After a few missteps that smelled to high heaven, I bought a small bag of CBÖP. My cat accepted it immediately. It has a woody scent, but not overpowering.
The clumps are very easy to remove and don’t crumble at all. This makes the litter extremely economical. Even after two weeks, a complete replacement isn’t necessary (with twice-daily cleaning). Simply refill the removed litter after the weekly hot wash — done.
We’re sticking with it. A large sack (40L) has already been delivered. It lasts forever, and the price ends up being worth it.

Clumping litter
I bought Cat's Best Öko Plus for the first time and I'm really impressed.
My cat took to it straight away. The litter box is also no longer heavy, unlike with conventional clumping litter.

Very satisfied
Both our two cats and we are very satisfied with this litter. The price-performance ratio is good, it clumps excellently, there's no dust formation, and the smell is well contained. The only slightly negative point is that the small grains tend to stick to the paws and get scattered a bit in front of the litter box, but that's okay because it's easy to vacuum up quickly, and we've not had better experiences with other litter either. Even if you don't have time to clean the litter box immediately, the cats aren't bothered thanks to the good clumping and odour control, and they continue to use the box. Our cats absolutely love this litter and say thank you!

Thank you
The litter is truly top-notch. It forms great clumps (easy to remove and doesn’t stick), and even after two weeks, it doesn’t smell (as long as you clean it daily, of course!). Thank you so much, finally my cat is happy, and so am I!!!

Could be better.
I keep coming back to this litter again and again... I do try others, but so far haven’t found anything better... The only downside: it really spreads quite a lot around the flat, but since I vacuum at least once a day anyway, it’s acceptable...

Simply brilliant!!!
We are very satisfied with the product! It’s very economical and lasts a long time because it clumps really well. Also, it’s great at neutralising odours. You really don’t smell anything. Highly recommended!!

Dust and lumps
After using Canadian baby powder litter for many years, we switched to Cats Best after a detour via Natusan. It does produce dust, but it's manageable to clean. Clumping and efficiency are similar to EC. We've had indoor cats for over 20 years, currently (breeding) 16 cats.

I keep coming back to it.
In between, we try all sorts of litter, including silica litter, but this one is simply the best for us for several reasons:
The dust is not harmful to the lungs
Clumping is good
Yield is good
Weight-wise, it's great!
And theoretically, you can dispose of the urine clumps in the toilet, which is only possible with very few litters without causing a blockage soon after!
With 5 cats, we use this litter in 3 litter boxes, and it's fantastic!

Why all the great reviews?
I usually use "Classy Cat" clumping litter, but I wanted to try this one because of the great reviews and the good price. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed! This Öko Plus litter smells awful and can't mask the odour of the cat's business! Every time I go into the bathroom, I almost gag because the smell is unbearable, and I clean the litter box twice a day. As soon as one of our two cats does their big business, it stinks terribly! The clumping for the small business is okay, but for the big one, it's completely useless! Neither does it mask the smell, nor does much of the litter stick to it! Another reason why I will never buy this litter again is that it's so sticky that it's almost impossible to find a litter scoop that can sift out the still-good litter! On top of that, our two tomcats don't like the litter! One of them even did his big business in the house because he found the litter so unpleasant!!! Plus, the litter gets spread all over the house because it sticks to their paws! From now on, I’ll only buy the best cat litter in the world: "Classy Cat"!!! It’s a bit more expensive, but it doesn’t stink, masks the smell perfectly, and clumps flawlessly! It’s even so pleasant for cats that our two actually lie down in the litter box because the fine sand is so comfortable for them! Buy "Classy Cat", and your cats will be happy!!!

I don't like the cats.
The litter is really very economical! However, it does create quite a lot of dust. I feel like my cats don’t really like it. If anything, they’ll only quickly do their business on it. Nothing gets buried either.
What’s the point of having the best cat litter if the cats don’t like it?

Almost perfect!
The great thing about this litter is that it's nice and light and clumps really well. We've never had the whole box turn "sludgy," even though we have two cats and are sometimes away for two days. I find handling the clumps really super practical! Another great feature is that we can even put the litter (minus the faeces) on the compost heap, as waste disposal here is quite expensive.
However, the litter does have two small drawbacks:
1. It spreads quite far around the cat litter box, as has often been mentioned here. Luckily, this doesn't matter to us because the litter box is in the basement, which is already full of wood shavings.
2. Cleaning the litter box is a bit of a hassle because the residue stuck to the bottom feels like wallpaper paste and is hard to wash off. But I always fill the litter box quite generously with litter, so I don't have to do a full clean-up too often.
All in all, I'm very satisfied (I've tested much worse litter before) – and the price is right too!

I think the litter is great; as a woman, you don’t strain yourself lifting it, it clumps really well, and I find it very economical. It’s easy to dispose of in the compost bin using a biodegradable bag, and my two cats like it too.
Since the litter is very light and crumbles easily—a plus for parquet flooring—it does create a bit of dust when cleaning the cat litter box. Occasionally, there are small wood crumbs lying around, but they’re quickly swept or vacuumed away. With two cats, I need the vacuum every other day anyway, so it’s no big deal.
