Our cat loves it.
We've tried several types of litter before, but we're absolutely thrilled with this one. It clumps really well and is quite odour-neutral.

After a day in the rubbish...
I decided to give CBÖP a try since it was recommended to me and I had read a lot of good things about it. I’ve tried many types of litter before, but this one really takes the cake – and not in a good way. The clumps (if you can even call them that) were absolutely disgusting. When my three cats did their business, half the flat reeked, and sifting through it was pure torture. I’ve never experienced anything like it. None of my cats liked the wood pellet form; they only went to the litter box reluctantly and very cautiously. Of course, that could just be a matter of getting used to it. After one day, I threw the entire litter in the bin and switched back to Extreme Classic.

Doesn't dust, doesn't stink
My little monsters accepted the litter straight away. It simply smells like sawdust, which is pretty much what it is. Until now, I’ve been using silica. But if you’re not careful, it can scratch your parquet flooring. That can’t happen with wood shavings.

Great value for money
The litter smells pleasant, the cats like it, disposal is easy and also affordable. With these advantages, you can overlook the fact that it gets scattered around the house a bit (pet owners have to vacuum every day anyway...). However, I can imagine that it might become a bit of a nuisance with long-haired cats. For me, though, it's definitely convincing.

Spread throughout the entire flat
I'm at my wit's end! This time, I let myself be convinced by the reviews, and I'm completely disappointed. With every type of litter, you often have to sweep around the cat litter box, but this clumping litter is spread all over the flat. With my Maine Coons, the litter, since it's made of wood shavings and very lightweight, gets stuck in their fur. I've even found it in my bed. And the claim that you can flush it down the toilet is a joke – I had to flush four times before it finally went down. So, if you enjoy cleaning and vacuuming a lot, this product is perfect for you.

The best litter!
CBÖP is the best litter for me! It's incredibly long-lasting, clumps perfectly, there's no smell, it's not as heavy as bentonite litter, you can dispose of it in the toilet or organic waste, great value for money... what more could you want?

Optimal!
...been using it for years and completely satisfied (not just the cat).
And most importantly: natural product, no chemicals! Absolutely recommend it.

Damn good litter
My two little fluffballs and I have tried quite a few types of litter.
This one is by far the BEST!!!!
My Sunny wouldn’t use the loo if my chubby Texi had been on it before!!! Now it works perfectly.

For me, the best litter......
I would never buy another type of litter again. It’s so efficient, and my kittens "love" it. I’ve tried many other products before, but no litter has been as hassle-free as this one. Sure, a bit of litter gets scattered here and there, but that happens with every type of litter. I’m completely satisfied, highly recommended.

Great litter
I’ve tried dozens of litters and I’m really impressed with this one. The scent is pleasant, it doesn’t create much dust, the clumping and odour control are good, and my little ones like it. It’s soft and not as hard or sharp-edged as many other litters. While this litter does spread outside the litter box, they all do. But with this one, I don’t find it nearly as bad. With smaller and finer litters, everything ends up covered in litter, but here it’s just a few crumbs.

Best cat litter of all
Economical, neutral scent, very affordable, simply perfect! I wouldn’t choose any other – and I’ve already tried loads of different types!
Highly recommended!!

Best cat litter
I have tried countless types of cat litter over many years, ranging from cheap to very expensive. Cat's Best is the best litter for my cats and for me! It doesn’t just deserve a "Very good," but an "Excellent"!

Unfortunately, not liked!
I recently bought this cat litter because I thought the idea of being able to dispose of it directly via the toilet was brilliant. That works perfectly and it doesn’t create any dust. However, my cat absolutely hates it. Ever since, she’s been doing her business everywhere except in the litter box. Occasionally, she’d use it, and I thought she just needed time to get used to it, but nope. Personally, I’m not a fan of the texture either, as everything crumbles apart and you have to search really hard for the dirty little clumps. I’ll stick to my old one instead. Such a shame, especially for the environment.

Unfortunately not accepted.
Unfortunately, our two cats didn’t take to this litter. When we tried it, they started urinating elsewhere—sometimes on things, and sometimes in the sink or bathtub. The whole flat also smelled strongly of their waste, as they didn’t always want to cover it up.
We’ve now switched back to our previous litter with baby powder scent and a sandy texture, and all the problems have been resolved immediately. Such a shame, as we really liked the "eco" solution. :(

I'm surprised
I think the litter is quite good, it clumps well and smells like a carpentry workshop =) So, like wood. The only thing I would criticise is that the cats carry the litter out of the litter box. It probably gets stuck between their toes.

Absolutely not convincing!
We ordered the 10-litre trial pack with the last delivery because we wanted to try out a new litter (previously Extreme Classic), as this one is significantly cheaper and is considered one of the best litters. For us humans, it didn’t pass the test – the cats accepted the litter well, but we now have far more crumbs flying around than with Extreme Classic. At least you notice the litter much quicker because it’s larger and lighter. We have to sweep the bathroom several times a day, and it also spreads wonderfully throughout the entire flat. That’s very annoying. So, we’re not convinced yet. But that’s just our personal opinion.
In terms of odour control, it seems to be very good – we can hardly smell the toilets. Another definite plus is the good price.

I cannot recommend it.
The litter ends up all over the flat.

What a shame...
The idea of being able to dispose of daily waste via the toilet and simply throwing the rest into the organic waste bin during a full clean sounded really great to me. So, I decided to order a 10-litre bag as a trial. Okay, it clumps quite well, and the smell of fresh wood is very pleasant. My two cats were a bit confused at first, but they dutifully went to their litter box and accepted the litter. BUT: After just two trips to the litter box, I had the litter spread all over the flat :-( Literally everywhere, including the sofa, bed, etc.!!! I even have one of those rubber mats in front of the litter box, which catches most of the litter. But the litter sticks to the fur of my two Persians. When they come out of the litter box, they look like breaded schnitzels! Such a shame!!! I had to throw the litter away after just 24 hours and have now gone back to using the trusted Golden Grey Masters! Sure, with this one I occasionally have a few crumbs in the immediate vicinity of the litter box and vacuum daily, but with the rubber mat, it’s really kept to a minimum.

Absolutely perfect for ferrets
I've been using this product for many years. Not for cats, but for ferrets. With six ferrets, a large bag lasts a good two months. In terms of odour control, I find it comparable to Catsan Ultra, but it's much more affordable since Cat's Best lasts so long. As for dust, it seems to depend on the batch, as I sometimes get dusty litter, but most of the time it doesn't produce any dust at all. The clumps are at their "best" when they're not completely fresh – that's when you can scoop out really hard but lightweight chunks. And even if I'm away for two days, it still doesn't smell! I've tried other litters in between, but for ferrets, who deposit small amounts several times a day, Cat's Öko Best is still the most pleasant. It doesn't stick to them (with bentonite, as the name suggests, they can end up with "concrete feet" -_-) and if the edge of the litter tray is high enough, even during digging frenzies, nothing gets scattered. For ferrets, I really think this is the most economical and odour-binding litter you can find.

Completely fine!
Well, I think this litter is absolutely fine!
The odour control is great, I can't notice much dust either, and the kitties like it.
The only downside is that it's relatively lightweight, so it sometimes gets carried around on their paws, but with two British Shorthairs, that's probably not as bad as it would be with long-haired cats.
Also, the natural scent is MUCH more pleasant than the "toilet stone smell" of some other litters...
