Only 1 advantage
The only advantage of this litter is that you can dispose of it in the toilet. It's expensive compared to others and very coarse, so when sifting with the scoop, you end up throwing far too much fresh litter into the toilet. My kittens don't particularly like it because the pieces are far too large and don't allow for proper digging.

Great litter, great value
This litter may be more expensive than some 'supermarket' grade products, but you need far less and it really does trap all odours. Highly recommended.

And it really is the BEST.
Today, I'm ordering this cat litter again – it's simply the best on the market. The one-star reviews and accompanying comments are not truthful and completely incomprehensible to me. We have two Persian cats, and I've tried many different cat litters. None of them were worthy of a five-star rating. Among our circle of friends, there are many cat owners, and I've often shared samples of this cat litter with them. By now, all the "tin openers" have switched to this litter. I think that speaks for itself.
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Best regards,
Christiane

Super!
Simply brilliant! The value for money is absolutely unbeatable. It doesn’t create dust and has hardly any smell. Without a mat in front of the litter box, it would spread quite a bit around the flat, but isn’t that the case with all litter!?

Brilliant litter
I'm thrilled with the litter. It clumps nicely, smells pleasant, and even when it's been used, it doesn't have that sharp smell like other litters. The typical cat litter tray odour is missing.

There's nothing better, but unfortunately it's also expensive.
The comment saying "it doesn't work at all without draughts" is absolute nonsense. I have guinea pigs, rabbits, and cats, and they all get this bedding. Even sales reps who occasionally come to the door are completely surprised when they see that I have so many animals and there’s no smell—neither in winter with the windows closed nor in summer. Plus, neither spiders nor other pests like flies are attracted to the smell of the bedding, as it hardly smells, apart from the natural scent of wood, which is very faint. The only downside is the price, as it keeps going up.

This is supposed to be clumping litter?
I usually use Extreme Classic or Classy Cat. I've always been very satisfied with them, but I wanted to try a more budget-friendly option.
I will never buy this litter again. It's far too coarse. I honestly don't understand how it can even be called clumping litter. When cleaning the litter box, you have to shake the clumps back and forth on the scoop forever to avoid wasting too much fresh litter, and you end up with sore arms. It doesn't bind odours well at all. At first, it smells pleasantly of wood, but that's not really what I want in cat litter, and the scent doesn't last long anyway. Swarms of flies gathered around the litter boxes, and even spiders thought the litter was a great place to live.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and for now, I'm giving up on the search for cheap but good cat litter.

Better than "worlds best"!!!!!
We have too Burmese kittens and we have tried a number of litters (clay, corn, wood etc) including the one recommended in all the books ("worlds best cat litter"). The "cats best" litter is by far superior as it eliminates 95% of the smells, where as "worlds best" has a overpowering vomit smell to it after a first use!!! yuk! Cats best works is brilliant as it can be used in the same way, can be flushed, i am definately using less of it as it is ultra clumping and best of all it costs a lot less than worlds best!!!

the decisive downside
Well, just like in real life. A single point can ruin everything. I don’t know where the other reviewers live, but it must be very draughty there or they have open-plan living. All the normal features are fine, but the supposed odour control seems to only kick in during composting. Even our holiday cover complained about the extreme smell. Without proper ventilation in the room, it’s almost unbearable. Such a shame.

Best value for money
I am very satisfied with this litter: it doesn’t produce any dust at all, has a pleasant "natural smell" (like fresh wood), and clumps very well, meaning the clumps don’t fall apart under "excess moisture" or stick to the floor. This also makes it very economical. The fact that you can dispose of the waste via the toilet is an added bonus.
The only downside: the pellets are very light and tend to get scattered around the house (and I only have short-haired cats...).

Cats Best Eco Litter
I've been using this litter for a very, very long time and I'm still absolutely thrilled with it. Some things are just worth the money, you have to admit. Oh, and Max, our indoor cat, likes it too. He used to sneeze all the time with other brands we tried back then, but ever since we've been using Cat's Best, he's sneeze-free. Brilliant stuff, highly recommended!

Only the best for my cats
I’ve had indoor cats for 13 years now. Like every pet owner, I initially relied on recommendations from other cat owners and gradually tried out all the different types of litter, letting my cats conduct their own “cat inspection” of the products. The only litter that truly passed with flying colours and continues to receive top marks from both my cats and me is Cats Best!!!
I’ve never come across anything better, more effective, or more cost-efficient when it comes to cat litter. My five furry friends absolutely love this product and won’t accept any other litter anymore. Even though it might seem a bit pricey at first glance, the incredible longevity of Cats Best more than makes up for it. No other litter will ever make it into our cat toilet again – and if it does, Shakespeare, Salome, Pascha, Shadow, and Minzi might just go on strike!

The BEST, honestly!!
...still incredibly satisfied! Even though the litter gets spread around the flat a bit – that's normal, all litter does that. The only solution is to sweep it up :-) . But about your issue with your cat not wanting to step on a "wet clump"... My recommendation: ditch those silly hoods on the litter box!! NO cat in the wild goes into a cave to do its business!! Give them the option to access the litter box from multiple sides with a rim attachment. Then you can leave them alone for a few hours, and they'll do the digging until everything is buried again. Plus, they won't have to endure the stench of a pee-soaked litter box if the hood is still on – it just makes it worse!! Give it a try – I'm sure it'll work. :-) *

Cleaning multiple times a day is a must.
I was guided by the many positive reviews and am very satisfied. The litter clumps brilliantly, doesn’t stick to the bottom of the toilet like the last litter I tried, and smells very pleasant.
The only downside for us is that I have to remove the toilet hood when the cat is home alone for a longer period.
As long as the toilet is cleaned several times a day, everything is fine. However, if I leave the hood on the toilet and, for example, go to work, the shower gets misused as a toilet because our cat absolutely refuses to step on one of the urine clumps when she goes through the flap and the toilet has already been used before. Since our cat is an outdoor cat and the toilet is very easy to clean, I can live with that.
I can’t confirm that the litter gets excessively spread around the flat, even though we have a long-haired cat. Sure, a few crumbs might fall out, but even with an open toilet, it’s limited to the area around the toilet. When cleaning, some bits inevitably fall out anyway, but you just sweep them up and it’s done.
All in all, a fantastic litter – definitely worth trying!

Really suuuuuper!!!!
I've been using this clumping litter for years now and I'm very happy with it. The other customer is probably right that it does tend to spread around the house quite a bit, but that's what vacuum cleaners are for. I often try out new ones, but I always end up coming back to this one in the end.

Tried many things and finally found the best!
I was guided by the many positive reviews—thank goodness!!!!!
I don’t know how many I’ve tried, from cheap to expensive, from clumping litter to Smartpack. Everything started to stink after a short time and didn’t look good. Öko Plus smells like a timber yard (very clean and pleasant) and looks good in the litter tray (like small wood shavings). Super easy to clean!! No smell after use, and as soon as I opened the bag, our cat was there—it was immediately accepted, and she loves it!! (indoor cat). A small downside is that a lot sticks to her paws—so keep the vacuum cleaner handy.

Not bad
I don’t understand the 1-star reviewers for this litter. It hardly smells at all, even after being in the litter box for a while. The only thing that drives you a bit mad ;-) is how lightweight the litter is. Because of that, it spreads wonderfully throughout the flat. Also, not all of my cats like it, and if they do, it’s only for “number one.”
But it clumps brilliantly, is very light, and easy to dispose of.
So, it’s definitely worth giving it a try.

Couldn't care less.
I've tried almost all the common cat litters, but this one is absolutely the best.

NEVER AGAIN
After so many positive reviews, I thought I'd give it a try.
Nope, by the second day it smelled unbearable, even though I clean twice a day.
I threw everything straight in the bin.
I say never again to this product. Eco or not, it's not for me.

Ideal for multi-cat households too
After a long time and trying countless different types of litter, we’ve finally found a truly good cat litter: Cat's Best Öko Plus!
We have 8 Maine Coons at home who use the toilet quite a lot – with most types of litter, we had to completely replace it after just 2-3 days, either because it was soaking wet or smelled awful.
Cat's Best Öko Plus delivers on its promises, and all the cats accepted it without any issues. It clumps excellently and has a pleasant wood scent – there’s never any unpleasant odour. A 40-litre bag lasts us over a week (2 XXL litter boxes and 1 regular litter box), and you only need to top it up rather than replace it entirely.
Although it’s stated that the litter can be disposed of in the toilet without any problems, you should still be cautious. After a week, the urine clumps caused a blockage here.
The only downside is that the litter gets carried around the house by long-haired cats. But that’s a general issue and not specific to Cat's Best Öko Plus.
