Only three stars.
I also tested this product because of the many good reviews.
However, I’m only giving it three stars. It has a pleasant scent, but the stuff ends up flying around the entire flat, including the scratching post, etc. The packaging is very lightweight ;-) but gets used up far too quickly. I can’t recommend it.
Kind regards,
A. Benge

Medium-long-haired cats
I have two pedigree cats. They take to the litter very well. However, my Birman cat drinks a lot, which sometimes overwhelms the cat litter and it can't absorb everything properly. It's not a big deal though, as long as you check the litter regularly. The annoying part is that a bit of wet litter gets stuck in the fur of my semi-long-haired cat. But you can comb it out again.
It does scatter around a bit, but less than regular clumping litter. What's great is that it always smells like wood and doesn't stink anymore, even if it hasn't been changed for a long time. It's also very lightweight. And the best part is, it really lasts forever. All in all, definitely better than regular clumping litter.

Excellent...
We may be beginners when it comes to cats^^, but this litter is really good.
Not only is it biodegradable, but you should check with your local wastewater disposal service to see if it can be flushed down the toilet! It binds odours very well (except when Whiskas cat food has duck or lamb in it again^^).
But there's absolutely no urine smell! And if you have a well-ventilated bathroom or similar, the smell disappears completely after a few minutes.
Also, it clumps really well, even when the kitten is digging around in the litter box^^.
Conclusion: highly recommended, and the price-performance ratio is spot on. TOP!

Severe dirtiness of the flat
Positive: The clumps can be disposed of via the toilet. Pleasant wood scent. The cats felt comfortable in the litter box....
Extremely Negative: The granules spread throughout the entire flat, making daily mopping and vacuuming necessary, often as early as the morning, because you can no longer walk barefoot through the flat. This litter is therefore only recommended if the litter box is kept outdoors or in the basement. In the flat, it’s simply unbearable. Unless you’re not too particular about cleanliness...

Very good!
It’s great at neutralising odours, lasts much longer than others, and doesn’t get tracked all over the flat.
Honestly, it’s fantastic and highly recommended!!!
My two love it, and the flat finally doesn’t stink anymore after one of them has done their business!

the cats whiskers
the breeder i got one of my bengals from recommended this and it's working well so far! it's quite good at masking smells, but bits of it do get everywhere everytime one of them pays a visit. it's user friendly for clean up jobs too. will definately buy again

Our kitties absolutely love it!
I originally bought Cat's Best Öko Plus for my litter box because my flatmate uses Catsan for hers (I have one cat, she has two). What can I say... I now have to clean my litter box twice a day because the cats really use every single spot in my box to do their business. The Catsan box is only used when mine is absolutely full. And despite this constant use, even the small bag turned out to be surprisingly long-lasting. If the litter starts to smell too much, a complete change is all it takes, and it smells fresh again. There is a bit of litter scattered around the flat, but the advantages (odour control, good clumping, popularity with the cats) definitely outweigh the disadvantages! Highly recommended!!

Satisfactory!
My cats took to the litter straight away. It has a light woody to neutral scent and does a good job of binding odours. A big plus is that it can be disposed of in the toilet, so you don’t need to set up a separate bin for dirty litter. A downside, however, is that the litter ends up scattered all over the flat. Otherwise, a very good product!

Unfortunately, this cat litter is the worst we've tried so far. Our fairly large flat was filled with a strong toilet smell after just two days, which didn’t improve even after immediately cleaning up after our cat. To put it bluntly: it stinks, and not just a little. On top of that, the granules spread throughout the entire flat—we found them stuck to our socks and feet, in the bed, and basically everywhere our little one had been. This situation became unbearable, so we’ve switched back to another litter—which is honestly much better.

Worst litter ever!!!
We bought this litter recently and were hoping for the good reviews to hold true, but we really shouldn’t have done that.
- It smells awful, absolutely no odour control (despite the Multi Fresh).
- It’s spread all over the flat, literally everywhere, because it sticks between the paws for ages.
- Poor to sticky clumping!!
Absolutely unacceptable!!!
Sorry, Zooplus, but you really should take this product out of your range. Otherwise, I’m super happy with your shop!

Simply brilliant!
I now have 5 cats and I'm still thrilled. Both our Canarian "souvenirs" and our kittens all accepted this litter without any issues. It neutralises odours and is very efficient, which ultimately results in excellent value for money.
I don't want to use any other litter anymore.

Very good cat litter
We've been using this cat litter for quite some time now and are very happy with it. If handled correctly, you can go a long time without unpleasant odours in your home. By "handled correctly," I mean putting enough litter in the cat tray so that the litter has the chance to absorb the liquid. And if there's enough litter in there, it won't stick to the bottom either. To prevent it from starting to smell, you obviously need to remove the clumps from the tray, but even if you occasionally forget, the smell is well contained. As for it being spread around the house, there are mats for that, or you could just pick up the broom a bit more often. But every cat owner should be aware that animals can make a mess sometimes... and if that bothers you, just don't keep pets!!!

Hello!
I can only advise against this litter.
I replaced it after just 3 days because, despite cleaning it twice a day, the smell was unbearable. There were bits of the litter scattered all over the toilet and the flat.
I was surprised that something like this is even sold. Nope, I'll stick with Tigerino – both humans and cats are happy with it.

Tried a lot, stuck with this one.
We’ve had two cats since last year. When it comes to litter, we received lots of recommendations and tried out many different types. Most of the litter started to smell awful within a very short time. Almost every type of litter ended up scattered around the apartment, though we could have dealt with that. The handling of most litters was very difficult. Over the course of half a year, we probably tried more than 10 different types of litter, and our cats were kind enough to put up with it… at times, it was a complete disaster. The worst thing for us, however, was the smell. As soon as you entered our apartment, you could tell we had cats, even if we had just cleaned the litter box. We were almost at our wits’ end until we came across Cat’s Best Öko Plus. Well, we’re absolutely thrilled with it! There’s no smell anymore, it’s incredibly efficient, clumps everything together without sticking to the toilet, can be disposed of in a regular toilet, and its high efficiency is a huge plus in terms of environmental friendliness. It also smells wonderfully of fresh wood rather than cat urine. Of course, some small wood chips occasionally fall out of the litter box, but we’ve placed a mat in front of it, so the chips no longer end up around the apartment. Nothing else will ever come into our home again!

...I don't know a better one.
In 30 years of keeping cats, I've never come across anything better. End of story, full stop.

Absolutely the best litter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's nothing better!
There's absolutely no odour, and the litter is very economical. I have two cats, and a 10-litre bag easily lasts 4 weeks. It smells pleasantly of wood and, unlike clay clumping litter or others, is incredibly lightweight.
Another bonus is that the litter doesn’t stick or smear on the bottom at all. You can use it right down to the last bit and then simply lift it off the bottom of the litter tray without any annoying residue.

Best Litter By Far
Have had cats since childhood and of recent years have tried many of the 'best' litters on the market. None can match Oko Plus. It clumps very well, is easy to clean and most important there is absolutely no nasty ammonia odour. Also has the added advantage of being compostable. A 10Ltr bag lasts a long time. I have been using Oko Plus for some time now and wouldn't use anything else.

Super ;-)
We are the owners of a female cat and a male cat (12 weeks old), both of whom have access to two litter boxes.
Initially, we used Biokats. However, after a short time, the smell of urine became noticeable in the flat, and the clumping was poor, as it crumbled about 90% of the time.
Based on the reviews here, I mostly read positive experiences and decided to test Cat's Best Öko Plus cat litter.
SUPER!!
- Pleasant scent (woody)
- Excellent clumping
- Long-lasting
- The cats accepted it straight away
I’m pleasantly surprised and won’t be switching anytime soon.

Cat litter
I have 2 cats. I’ve already tried several types of litter. Since I have an open-plan flat, I was looking for an odour-neutral cat litter. After trying for a long time, I’m satisfied with this product. If you clean it regularly, it’s very odour-absorbent. Being realistic, it’s a good product.

Oh yes, one more thing...
Ökobest really isn’t odour-binding; with three or more cats, the smell is quite overwhelming, even though I have four boxes. Plus, it sticks excessively to their paws when the cats leave the box. I’ll try out a few other options for now, unfortunately.
