That is probably the best thing.
It all started back then with regular litter, and we had to completely clean the litter boxes every two days. Then we discovered clumping litter like Thomas, Natusan, Mein Bestes, Biocats, and all the others. The advantage was that we only had to clean every 1 to 1.5 weeks, but there were always issues, such as odour, sandy floors, clumps like concrete that wouldn’t come off the bottom of the litter box, sticky litter boxes, and so on and so forth...
We’ve been using CBÖP for about 3 years now and have occasionally tried something else in between... but no other litter compares to this one.
We have 3 cats with different urination habits and levels of cleanliness... and they all get along with it perfectly. We’re happy every day to be able to easily remove clumps without them falling apart, smelling bad, or sticking. We top it up after about 2 weeks to maintain the litter level, but a complete change isn’t necessary for 4 weeks. Even after such a long time, there’s no bad smell. It might happen—depending on the cat’s digging behaviour—that the litter starts to feel “mealy” after such a long time... but this hardly ever happens with us.
If you keep cats indoors, you’ll always find a few crumbs here and there, but I prefer these over sandy floors or bentonite crumbs that hurt when you accidentally step on them. With CBÖP, you can easily pick up individual crumbs, or just sweep or vacuum them up, which you do daily with indoor cats anyway *thinking*.
We have two jumbo litter boxes and get by with 40L (around 18kg) for about 2-3 months. Since this pack size has a fair price per litre compared to others, this litter is very cost-effective.
However, we don’t dispose of it in the toilet but rather in the regular household waste. If you want to dispose of it in the organic waste bin or on the compost heap, you often need to remove the cat’s waste first. To handle this properly, you can contact your local waste management service, which can provide specific information about the disposal regulations in your region, municipality, etc.
If the quality and price remain the same in the coming years, we’ll continue to be CBÖP fans. ;-)

It spreads throughout the entire flat.
The advantages are: it's lightweight, forms great clumps, absolutely no odour. However, the litter is far too light and, as a result, gets spread all over—and I mean *all over*—the flat. Even a mat can only reduce this slightly. Such a shame.

Wow!!!
This cat litter has completely won me over! I got it from our animal welfare chairperson because I always have lots of foster cats. The cats took to it straight away, and I’m absolutely satisfied.
Even after 4 weeks, it still smells like wood litter, lasts up to 2 weeks without needing to be topped up (with 4 cats and two litter boxes), and it’s relatively dust-free by my standards.
It’s a bit pricey, but the fact that it no longer smells like a cat toilet makes it worth the price to me!
So, for multi-cat households, it’s really very well-suited!

Simply brilliant
For me, this is the ideal litter. It clumps well, doesn’t stick to the paws, and even smells pleasant. I can happily do without the baby powder scent :) Instead, it has a light, woody smell, which doesn’t mean the whole room ends up smelling like a hardware store.

Good!
We used to always have Golden Grey Master, but the quality has really gone downhill and it started to smell quickly.
Cat's Best Öko Plus was well received by our four tigers. It smells pleasant. The clumping is good for a plant-based product. However, disposing of it via the toilet isn't so straightforward: don't pour too much in at once, otherwise the toilet gets clogged. You also have to flush several times for it to go down, which means using more water – but you do end up with less household waste.
We're satisfied!

Super! Hardly any drawbacks!
We have 6 cats – ranging from long-haired to short-haired, from "messy" to fussy, we've got it all.
The litter is fantastic! It hardly smells, clumps well, and lasts a very long time.
There are only a few downsides: Firstly, the so-called "beach effect," which can be minimised with a rug placed a little distance in front of the litter box. Then there's the fluctuating quality, which you can notice in the clumping behaviour. However, this isn't a major issue. And lastly, the environmental friendliness.
For sensitive cats that react to dust, this litter might not be ideal, as it can be quite dusty, especially when freshly poured.
All in all: highly recommended!!!

Simply TOP
I’m absolutely thrilled. My cats love this litter, and I love all the benefits it offers. It controls odours in a way I’ve never experienced before. Super easy to clean, and there are only a few pellets directly in front of the litter box. It doesn’t get tracked through the house. Also ideal as bedding for the toilet corner in a dwarf rabbit or guinea pig cage.

Cats Best
I’m absolutely thrilled with this cat litter. It’s so absorbent and doesn’t fall apart when you remove the clumps and such from the litter tray.
Above all, the litter smells wonderfully of wood.
I’ve ordered the large pack again today.
I ordered a small pack as a trial for my friend, but I’m convinced she’ll be just as impressed.

Very little smell
This litter is very good, there is very little smell from it but it does track everywhere. Really easy to use as you can just flush the used stuff down the loo - good value for money

:-(
The only great thing about this litter is that you can flush it down the toilet. What drives me absolutely mad about this litter is that it gets spread all over the flat.

Hmm...
...it wasn't to our taste, so we've gone back to the old one. We would have liked to use an eco-friendly litter.

Top bedding at a top price and lasts super long.
We've been using this litter for quite some time now in our Persian cat breeding. All the cats happily use this litter without any issues. It has excellent clumping and absorbency. It feels soft and pleasant, which is important because many cats are quite picky and will avoid their litter box if the litter feels uncomfortable under their paws. Even the smell of urine from our stud cat is barely noticeable anymore. It's also much nicer when a bit of litter sticks to your socks – better than clumping clay litter, which feels like greasy sand or mud and either lies around unpleasantly or sticks firmly. Every cat owner knows the struggle when your cat enthusiastically digs in the litter or scatters it all over the house.
Cleaning and rinsing the litter boxes is much easier too, as even the clumped litter dissolves immediately in water. This means the cats' waste can be disposed of in the toilet without causing blockages. Additionally, this litter lasts twice as long as other clumping litters due to its efficiency. Another crucial point is that this litter is non-toxic to cats even if ingested, unlike clay clumping litter, which can be life-threatening if swallowed.
The only downside I’d mention is that when you get to the bottom of the pack or if the cats dig excessively, it can become a bit dusty.

Very suitable for keeping ferrets.
Low dust, odour-neutral, low consumption, easy disposal, forms excellent clumps – for me, no other litter is an option when it comes to keeping ferrets.

The best of the best without a doubt!
Great stuff no odours at all, i have also switched from woodshavings in my house rabbits cage because it smelt awful to oko plus and there are no odours from his cage and doesnt need cleaning no where near as much!

Not good!
I tested the litter and had high hopes for it. At first, I was absolutely thrilled because it clumped really well. But after a while, it started to smell quite bad, despite daily cleaning. And what bothered me the most was that the litter ended up all over the flat, as it got stuck in the paws of my two Norwegian Forest kittens. Verdict: Anything but good!!!

Best ever.
After having used several other types of litter I have finally found one that can't be beaten. Cats Best Oko Plus is amazing value for money, easy to use, highly economical and does hide a lot of smells. The only downside is that it does track a bit but I wouldn't let that tiny fact interfere with it's ability. If you haven't tried it before now, what are you waiting for...

I tried it too...
...and I’m thrilled. The low consumption offsets the higher price of the product. Liquids and odours are perfectly absorbed, so the litter tray is actually completely odour-free. The high acceptance among the cats rounds off the product. On top of that, it’s virtually dust-free!

Definitely sticking with it!!!
After trying almost every cat litter out there (I have 4 cats, one of them with chronic diarrhoea), I’ve decided to stick with this one. Sure, it ends up scattered all over the house, but it’s unbeatable when it comes to odour control, and it even clumps with diarrhoea. For that, it gets a solid 10/10 from me!!!

Stay away!
I thought, with so many positive reviews, I might as well give this litter a try, but it ended in disaster: our kitty (6 months old) became unclean because she was so disgusted by the litter. Our tomcat only used it very reluctantly. After flushing it down the toilet twice, the toilet got clogged. So I quickly switched back to "traditional" clumping litter! Never again!

Comments on Cat's Best Cat Litter.
This is dreadful stuff. It gets caught up in the cats' claws and can be found in every part of the house. Mind you, the cats like it because they have great fun scratching up piles of it and spreading them in all directions. Nor is it particularly economical because it forms enormous damp clumps which have to be removed. Much as the cats will no doubt miss their fun, I am going back to Catsan.
