TOP!
I finally managed to bring myself to buy such an expensive litter, and I’m very satisfied. I filled the litter tray 5(!) weeks ago and since then have only removed faeces and clumps. The base filling smells just as little as it did in the first few days – and that’s with two cats who spend most of their time indoors. The litter is absolutely worth its price and, in the end, far cheaper than any "cheap litter"!

More than satisfied!
This litter is absolutely recommendable. My two little ones have been with me for almost 4 weeks now and have happily used their little loo from the very beginning. Of course, a bit sticks to their paws, but that's manageable. It doesn't smell at all, instead it has a very pleasant woody scent. A bit of dust settles at the bottom of the loo, but that's about it. Plus, it's effortlessly disposed of via the toilet, causing absolutely no issues and no blockages. If you were to dispose of the entire(!) contents via the toilet, it might be a problem – but that's what the compost bin is for!

Actually great, but...
At first, I was absolutely thrilled, especially because it’s so lightweight and can be disposed of via the toilet. My cats didn’t seem to mind it either. But a major downside is that the litter sticks strongly to their paws (and also to shoes) and gets spread literally EVERYWHERE (crumbled into tiny bits). Unfortunately, even the toilet mat doesn’t help with this. So, with a heavy heart, I’m switching back to conventional clumping litter.

Class
I bought it a few years ago and decided to give it another go now, despite the price.
But since the litter was enough for two toilets, it’s not more expensive than regular products from the shops.
For me, there was no dust, no smell after using the toilet, and after a few days, the litter itself doesn’t smell either.
The clumping is perfect, nothing crumbles or sticks.
I’m sticking with it!

Super
Well, my two indoor cats are thrilled.
My 14-year-old grandpa cat took to it straight away, even though he’s usually very picky.

Absolutely recommendable litter
Comment on another review: Often, it's due to health issues and not the cat litter when a cat acts "fussy" in the litter box. That's why I would recommend taking the cat to the vet for a check-up and having stool and urine tests done before giving a negative review of the litter.
What I absolutely don't understand are the reviews claiming this litter smells bad. That's simply not true! On the contrary, this litter (to be clear: I'm talking about Cat's Best Öko Plus) has a pleasant wood scent, even after multiple uses. All my friends who have tried Öko Plus have stuck with it and are full of praise. Whenever we place a group order on Zooplus, I always order some for them as well. My conclusion: It works best when you don't skimp in the wrong places and mistakenly use too little litter in the box. A thick layer of Öko Plus has ultimately proven to be the most economical. This way, the litter can fully absorb all the moisture before it reaches the bottom of the litter box. It also forms nice clumps that are easy to remove, and the urine doesn't pool or create slime at the bottom. Those who complain that the litter sticks to the bottom of the box, is dusty, or smells bad have only themselves to blame.
We have as many cats as you'd typically find in an average breeder household, so we use, among other things, a high-sided mortar tub with a 10-12 cm thick layer of litter, and it ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT SMELL! This way, a 40-litre bag lasts a very, very long time, which is where the savings come in. All other, significantly more expensive litters start to stink after just one day (it's awful when you can smell it from the front door that someone has used the litter box). That never happens with Cat's Best Öko Plus! With supposedly better litters, you end up with more work and pay significantly more in the long run compared to Öko Plus.

Very satisfied
My cats and I like it. It doesn’t smell, is very lightweight, and can even be disposed of via the toilet. Honestly, it’s a really good product.
The only downside, and that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars, is that some litter does get tracked out. But I got one of those toilet mats here, which catches almost everything. :)
And I guess there’s no litter that doesn’t get tracked out at least a little.
So, definitely recommend it!

I’ve been using this litter for 2 years now, and I’m very satisfied with it. I clean out the soiled spots daily and top up the litter as needed. I only change the entire litter in the cat toilets once a month.
I have 4 Maine Coons, and each cat has its own litter box. So far, I haven’t had any issues with matted fur.
Occasionally, some litter ends up outside the litter box, but it wasn’t any better with the previous clumping litter – a broom is the only solution for that.

Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter
The best cat litter I've ever had for my two indoor cats. Better than Catsan Ultra.

Fantastic product
I bought the 40L because it was such good value. It's tricky to store such a large bag, but it's a fantastic product, so worth finding somewhere! There is no dust like with conventional litter, it clumps perfectly to remove little presents without the waste of throwing away clean litter and there is absolutely no odour. The kittens love it, it is soft and easy to scratch around - I will only ever buy this product in future.

Lisa refuses the litter.
Lisa refuses to use the litter box when I use this litter. She just scratches at it, which she normally only does when she's already been to the loo and needs to go again (scratching = please clean up), as with her, cleaning and refilling after every business is a must.

Not recommended
I bought all three Cat's Best cat litters to try them out, and I was least satisfied with this one. Firstly, it started to smell after a relatively short time, and secondly, my cats carried the fine, lightweight litter everywhere with their paws. I decided to go with Cat's Best Universal (coarser grains, binds odours for up to 2 weeks, dust-free).

Not suitable for long-haired cats
I’ve had this litter in both cat toilets for a week now and I’m not happy with it at all. It already smells, and my cats are tracking it all over the house. I’ll stick to silica litter instead.

Finally satisfied
I have two indoor cats (15 and 4 years old) and it took me a long time to find the perfect cat litter for us. It doesn’t create dust, doesn’t smell, and the clumps can be disposed of in the toilet. Plus, it’s super lightweight compared to the grey cat litters. My cats are happy, and that’s the main thing. If you regularly remove the clumps and top up the litter, you don’t have to completely clean the litter box every week. Otherwise, it would be an expensive hassle. I can only recommend it.

Cat newbie
I’m new to cats and have had my little tomcat since the beginning of April. Based on the recommendations here, I got myself a small bag just in case, and it turned out the breeder also uses CBÖP. My cat really likes it; it doesn’t smell like urine at all, and it only stinks when he’s just dropped one of his “bombs.” But after a few minutes, the smell disappears, and you wouldn’t even notice there’s a big business sitting in the litter box. He also buries it thoroughly, so sometimes I really have to search for it.
Unfortunately, I have to deduct points because I find individual bits of litter all over the flat, and he’s left muddy footprints a couple of times after stepping into a fresh puddle (always easy to spot on the bed sheets).
I’ll probably stick with it, though, since other litters have their downsides too. And why switch when the cat loves it and you can live with the scattered litter? After all, there are brooms and vacuum cleaners for that!

Dusts quite heavily
In terms of handling and odour control, the litter is very good, but unfortunately, it seems something has changed in the production process. Unlike the first delivery about a year ago, the bags delivered afterwards produce a lot of dust during cleaning. Our room, where the litter boxes for the nine-toed ones are, is always covered in a fine white layer of dust after just a week. – Not great! The kittens don’t mind much, but as someone who’s becoming allergic, it’s a problem for me... We’re switching now and trying something else...

Well...
It was too dusty for me and my cats; there was an astonishingly thick layer of dust on the bottom of the toilet, which surely can't be healthy. Even if it's eco-friendly. On top of that, the urine combined with the litter turned into a sticky paste... nope, not my thing.

Well, meh...
I've been using this litter for 2 years, and my cat loves it. The great thing is that you can dispose of it in the toilet and it's compostable. Unfortunately, that's about it for the positives. The extremely large "pee clumps" fall apart, the litter sticks to the bottom of the cat litter tray, so you end up having to clean it every week, which really hits the wallet. On top of that, the litter gets spread all over the flat, including the sofa and bed, because it sticks between the paws... sweeping every day is unavoidable :0( Sadly, I now have to disappoint my cat and look for a different, clumping and finer-grained litter. Two years of frustration are finally over.

Highly recommended!
I'm absolutely thrilled with this cat litter! It clumps perfectly and doesn't smell even after four weeks. In the future, I'll only be buying Cats Best Öko Plus!

Super clumping, but flushing it down the toilet??
Overall, I’m really impressed with this litter. It clumps very well and also does a great job of neutralising odours. On top of that, the slightly woody smell is much more pleasant than conventional cat litter. The only thing I’m not thrilled about is disposing of it via the toilet. The first time I tried, it completely clogged my toilet, and the soaked litter sticks stubbornly to the bottom. It probably works if you only flush the "big business" down the toilet, but the massive "pee clumps" (lol) are really hard to dissolve and just cause blockages. It does work if you flush multiple times, but with 3-4 flushes, I’m not willing to waste that much water, so I just dispose of the litter the traditional way—in the bin :-)
