I am satisfied.
I think it's really good, and my two cats like it too. It smells natural, and above all, you can dispose of it directly in the toilet. I didn’t want to use that chemical litter anymore. I used to always buy the cheap stuff from the discount store—what rubbish! After a week, it smelled so bad that I had to completely clean the litter box every week. Such a hassle, and besides, it ends up being much more expensive. Sabine

Odour retention?
Due to the good reviews and the knowledge that it can be disposed of in the household toilet, I was convinced and bought this litter. All in all, I am quite disappointed.
The litter does smell very pleasantly of wood when you first open the package, but unfortunately, this scent logically dissipates quite quickly. The odour control after the cat's business is almost non-existent, especially after the "big business" – half the flat smells of it :-(( The clumping is more than inadequate; when sifting it out, the clumps often fall apart into individual pieces, and the smaller remnants are almost impossible to remove. :-(
Two stars for Cat's Best Öko Plus are more than enough because it really doesn't deserve more. A shame, but it was worth a try!

Really withstands a lot
After unexpectedly ending up with 6 kittens last year, who are now all grown up, we had to find the perfect litter.
Two large litter boxes, 6 cats, and Cat's Best Öko Plus in a 40-litre bag... It really delivers on its promises – and for quite a while too. Other wood-based litters crumble after 2 days, and bentonite gets used up quickly. But not Cat's Öko!!!
It’s also super soft and doesn’t prick their paws at all!! 5 stars for that!

Oh dear ...
... My two little 7-month-old British Shorthair kittens had been using GoldenGrey with silica as litter until now. Based on the mostly positive reviews, I decided to give this litter a try and ordered the big bag straight away. Buuut, firstly, my two little ones absolutely refuse to use it and scratch around elsewhere (room corners), despite trying to lure them and sprinkling some of the old litter on top. And when they finally use it at the very last second (their front paws are on the plastic edge because it probably feels prickly), it smells awful for ages after they’ve done their business. Honestly, I have no idea where the supposed odour control is. The clumping isn’t great either, as it forms rather loose, large clumps. Of course, I also had to get a new scoop... So, I’ll be ordering GoldenGreyMaster again as quickly as possible to spare my little ones from suffering. You just can’t bear to watch it. It’s like forcing someone to use a pit toilet. Such a shame.

The perfect litter doesn’t exist.
Cats Best is one of the few litters that comes close to the ideal. Solid clumps mean it's extremely economical, with a hygienic base filling that lasts for weeks, and a natural, subtle woody scent instead of overpowering and highly questionable baby powder perfumes. The odour control is excellent. Unburied droppings smell on any litter, and unneutered animals will always dominate with a certain scent. You either have to put up with it or opt for neutering. Downsides of Cats Best: litter residues are carried out on paws, as with any litter, and Cats Best isn't always dust-free either. It's a good middle ground and certainly not deserving of a one-sided 1-star review. If this litter makes someone so unhappy that they immediately think of disposing of the entire bag after purchase, then donating the litter to an animal shelter is far more sensible than simply badmouthing it and throwing it away.

Very economical, but...
The litter is great in terms of its functionality, absolutely odour-binding and very economical. Unfortunately, it’s not suitable for my Persian cat, as it sticks to him and gets spread all over the flat.

SUUUUUUUUUUUUPER!!!!
I tested this litter for the first time, and I’m absolutely thrilled!!! It’s the best litter I’ve had so far. It looks like coarse wood shavings and, in my opinion, smells like them too. I find the scent very pleasant. I’ve had the litter in the cat toilets for 3 weeks now, and there’s not even the slightest bad smell. Of course, there’s a bit of a smell when the cat has just done a big business, but that’s normal. Even now – after 3 weeks – I don’t need to completely clean the toilets; I just top them up because they still don’t stink and still smell like wood. I’ve never had that with any other litter before. Another advantage is that you can simply dispose of the clumps in the toilet!! Brilliant. Naturally, it’s inevitable that some of the litter ends up scattered around the house, but with which litter isn’t that the case?! How could it possibly all stay in the toilet?
So, I’ll definitely be buying it again. Considering how long it stays fresh, the price is really low, and compared to seemingly cheaper litters, you end up spending much less because you don’t have to buy it as often.... ;-)

Back to nature ...
I don't want to use bentonite litter, so I opted for CBPÖ. The odour control is very good, and it clumps well too. However, after a while, it crumbles into "powder" in some spots in the litter tray, which I then scoop out. Unfortunately, it tends to get scattered quite a bit outside the litter box. Still, there's less waste if you don't dispose of it in the toilet. It's easier to transport than bentonite litter. I tried wood pellets in between, which were also well accepted and didn't get spread around the flat, but in the long run, they are less economical and require disposing of much more used litter.

I don’t understand the positive reviews.
After just one day, I had to throw away the entire litter with a heavy heart – after all, I paid for the bag – just get rid of it.
Despite having a mat in front of the toilet, the litter is scattered all over the bathroom. When my cats do their business, it smells awful. Where exactly is any odour being absorbed??? If, like me, you’ve previously used Extreme Classic, you’ll notice the massive difference. I’ll never buy this again, not even in an emergency. I can’t find a single positive point about it. The clumping is absolutely incomparable to the aforementioned litter, and it’s not economical either, as I end up shovelling out loads of litter just to remove the faeces.
I’m sticking with my usual litter, even though it’s more expensive (that’s why, and because of the many positive reviews, I bought this one). Ultimately, my litter is much cheaper, as I can genuinely leave it in the toilet for an entire month without changing it, even with two cats, and I only clean out the clumps morning and evening, topping up minimally.

Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter
My cats love it, it doesn't smell at all and clumps really well.
The best cat litter I've had in 22 years with 2 cats.

Consistently okay
The odour control could be better, but the clumping is really decent. After my negative experiences with silica litter and another clumping litter from a different brand, I’ll be sticking with this one for now.

Really good
I've used Catsan which is good but this is REALLY good! It makes cleaning/clearing the litter tray a much easier and cleaner job with no smell.
I have a composter and love the fact that I can recycle the waste. No problems with 'tracking'.
Really good product that I would recommend.

Finally, no more stench
I’ve tested almost every type of cat litter.
After two days at the latest, with two tomcats, your eyes start watering as soon as you step into the bathroom – even with a covered litter box.
But thanks to the new litter from Cat’s Best, it finally doesn’t stink anymore.
The urine, like with most clumping litters, only binds after a while. But once it does, the clumps are easy to dispose of.
The litter itself smells like wood, but that doesn’t bother me at all – quite the opposite, actually.
I’m so glad the ammonia stench is finally gone!

Super!
I think this cat litter is absolutely brilliant, it clumps well and, most importantly, it doesn’t smell!!! Advantage: it’s compostable and my bin is no longer overflowing with smelly cat litter. Really great, highly recommended!!!

5-Star Litter
We have 24 cats, therefore a lot of litter trays (10)! We had used a non clumping wood-based litter for years prior to discovering Cat's Best Oko Plus and were reasonably satisfied. However, after trying Cat's Best, we would never go back to using a non-clumping litter again. Yes, you do get tracking, but most eco cat litters will track. Believe me, the benefits far outweigh a little bit of extra sweeping up. Even with our brood, a 40 litre bag lasts a month at least and makes litter tray cleaning so much easier. Conventional wood-based litters are cheaper but most of the time you throw perfectly good litter away because the soiled pellets turn to a powder which mingles with the unused litter. I strongly recommend you try it and see for yourselves.

Not as good anymore!
I've been buying this litter for quite a while now, and the problems are becoming more frequent!
It binds odours less and less effectively, and now I have to clean up several times a day so that Madame will still use the toilet.
I also find more and more litter scattered around the flat, which is probably because it absorbs less well. In the past, pee clumps would solidify very quickly, but now in the mornings, I still find a small "mountain lake" where the pee spots are. If a paw steps in it, of course, everything sticks!

Very poor odour control
As convenient as it might be to dispose of cat litter in the toilet and save yourself a trip to the bin, I still can't recommend this litter. It doesn't neutralise odours at all, which is really unpleasant. On top of that, it has a smell of its own that I find quite unpleasant. Even my tomcat doesn't seem very impressed, as he often doesn't bother to cover up his business with this litter. Conclusion: I'll be switching the litter again today because this cat litter is literally rubbish!

Super!
I’ve tried several types of litter, starting with really cheap supermarket clumping litter, which was an absolute disaster in terms of smell. Then I tried silica litter, but unfortunately, my little tomcat didn’t like it (it makes a crunching noise when he walks on it). After that, I tried Katsan Hygiene Litter, which at the time felt like a blessing compared to the cheap clumping litter! However, after 4-5 days, it started to stink so badly that I had to replace it. And then I discovered this litter here on the site...! Now I’m finally satisfied—my cat likes it, I find the light wood scent very pleasant, and you can actually leave the base filling in for 4 weeks! Just top it up a little now and then. If you regularly remove clumps and droppings (I do it 1-2 times a day), it doesn’t smell, not even in my small flat. The clumps can be flushed down the toilet, which is super convenient!
I’m sticking with it...!
