Best cat litter!
After trying out most of the common cat litter types, Cat's Best Öko Cat Litter is now the only one that goes in the litter tray. If you regularly scoop out the larger deposits, it binds odours really well and is very economical. Plus, it's a natural product. Of course, the litter occasionally sticks to paws or fur and gets spread around the house, but that happens with other types too. I only buy this litter now and happily recommend it!

Again and again - and no other anymore
I've had cats for decades. During all this time, I've tried many types of litter. Sure, there are some that smell like baby powder, or the litter stays like a concrete lump in the tray and doesn't spread around the house, but Cat's Öko is the best so far in terms of efficiency.
The 40-litre bag lasts for what feels like 3–4 months.
Our two tomcats (16 years old) took to it well when they came to us 1.5 years ago (previously they had Catsan in the tray).
Good clumping, litter depth around 10–12 cm, daily removal of waste with a slotted scoop, and topping up as needed. Disposal exclusively via the rubbish bin.
The smell – depending on what the cats have eaten – can be atrocious, but once it's buried, it's fine again. We don't notice any urine odour.
Occasionally, I find small litter clumps one floor down, but we do have a vacuum cleaner/broom, after all.
As long as the cats are happy with it in the tray, Cat's Öko is our favourite.

Very satisfied for 2 years!!!
I switched to Cat's Best Öko Plus because my tomcat always used to cough due to the dust from other litters. Since the switch, that has almost completely stopped. Plus, I could never fully avoid a slight smell of the litter box before, but now there’s no smell at all! And that’s even though I don’t have to change the litter as often as I used to. It’s just so much more efficient now. I’m absolutely satisfied and won’t be switching again anytime soon!

Disappointing!
Convinced by the many positive reviews, I ordered Cat's Best Öko Plus clumping litter a few weeks ago, and after an extensive testing phase, I am now certain that this was a bad decision.
Contrary to some claims, the litter does indeed produce dust when filling the cat litter boxes and is far from reliable in binding odours. The small granules stick in large amounts to my cats' long fur and paws, which results in them spreading the litter not only on the bathroom floor but throughout the entire flat, even onto the furniture. Sometimes, my cats even tread the damp granules into textiles (cushions, armchairs) and into the grout lines of the bathroom tiles. Ever since I started using this litter, my bathroom has constantly smelled of urine, and despite having a mat in front of the litter boxes, not a single day goes by without me having to vacuum and mop the entire flat. I’ve never experienced this with other types of litter, which is why I will definitely not be ordering Cat's Best Öko Plus again.
The available product sizes are also highly impractical: the small pack contains almost nothing, and the large pack is so huge and heavy that the litter can only be added to the boxes scoop by scoop.
The only positive aspect of the product is its good clumping ability. However, this cannot outweigh the aforementioned disadvantages.

Super!!!!!!!!!!!
My two cats love the litter, and I'm very satisfied too. It's very economical and forms good clumps.

I'm very satisfied.
I've been using this cat litter ever since I got my little tomcat. It's really very effective when it comes to odour control and clumping. The litter box doesn't emit that terribly sharp smell that I'm used to from the ones my friends and acquaintances with cats have. While I don't dispose of the urine clumps in the toilet, I do flush the cat faeces. The cat litter that ends up in the toilet dissolves immediately – which is a huge advantage.

Good, but could be better
I've been using this litter for over a year now, but I'm back to looking for something better. The main thing for me is the lack of odour control, especially after "big business". Also, the clumps are not very tight and sometimes crumble, and stick quite a lot to the bottom. This, I believe, is why the litter box starts smelling after a week at the latest, despite regular scooping: some of the soiled litter always stays behind. Considering the frequent complete litter replacement, it's actually quite expensive. Minor complaints are the dust (not too bad) and tracking (quite bad).
Having said all this, I have yet to find something better (have tried and rejected silicate granules and regular betonite clumping litter). Next on the list to try is Porta Pine...

The litter is really very good.
It clumps perfectly, doesn’t smell, and can be easily disposed of via the toilet.

Organic is simply the best!!!!!
Used this cat litter for the first time. I have to say, simply TOP!!! There's no smell, it lasts forever, and it always looks great. Francis took to it straight away as well. There's nothing better!!!!!!!!!!

Super cat litter
I've tried a lot of things and somehow ended up sticking with wood litter. Then I gave this a go – I'm thrilled. Never going back to anything else!!! And the big pack, while heavy, is more affordable and lasts nearly two months for my two indoor cats. Brilliant!!!

Odour control is great, but...
I was no longer satisfied with my old litter in terms of odour control, so I decided to give this one a try. I wouldn’t buy it again. I was relieved when I could finally dispose of it. On the positive side, the odour control is definitely excellent – it’s really top-notch. The litter’s efficiency is also impressive. But the scattering effect was a complete disaster. I even found the litter in my bed. The cats dragged it everywhere with their long fur.
That’s why I’m deducting 2 points.

convincing
I've had cats all my life, but I've never come across a litter as good as this one. I wouldn't buy anything else anymore. It never smells, it clumps brilliantly, and the clumps don't fall apart either. It lasts forever. I'm super happy with it. I wish everything were this simple ;-)

The best litter I've had so far!
Now I finally want to leave a review... after buying this litter here so many times. I’m completely satisfied with it! It has a pleasant wood scent and can be conveniently disposed of via the toilet... no more annoying trips to the rubbish bin. Just a quick trip to the toilet, clean up, done! Just remember to use it as sparingly as possible, as this will naturally increase your water consumption! But since the litter is much lighter than clay litter, even taking it to the rubbish bin (if you prefer that) isn’t too bad. Always fill it high in the litter tray, and it clumps perfectly! I always go for the big bag, which lasts well for 1.5 to 2 months with two cats! So the price is great too! Sometimes, when the bag is nearly empty, the litter gets a bit dusty because the smallest particles naturally settle at the bottom of the bag. But that’s fine. All in all, TOP!

NO more teary cat eyes!!!
Thank you for the tip from "SABINE on 24/09." Based on her report, I tested this cat litter, and within a week, there was a noticeable improvement in the tear production of my cats, which had been an issue for a very long time!
Honestly, Master Gray & Co. is definitely the more convenient option, but my cats' health comes first. Plus, it has a gentle wood scent, clumps well, and is soooo much lighter. I bought a good rubber mat, which catches a lot of the litter, and for the rest, I have a vacuum cleaner ;o).
Back to health!

I am satisfied.
I think it's really good, and my two cats like it too. It smells natural, and above all, you can dispose of it directly in the toilet. I didn’t want to use that chemical litter anymore. I used to always buy the cheap stuff from the discount store—what rubbish! After a week, it smelled so bad that I had to completely clean the litter box every week. Such a hassle, and besides, it ends up being much more expensive. Sabine

Odour retention?
Due to the good reviews and the knowledge that it can be disposed of in the household toilet, I was convinced and bought this litter. All in all, I am quite disappointed.
The litter does smell very pleasantly of wood when you first open the package, but unfortunately, this scent logically dissipates quite quickly. The odour control after the cat's business is almost non-existent, especially after the "big business" – half the flat smells of it :-(( The clumping is more than inadequate; when sifting it out, the clumps often fall apart into individual pieces, and the smaller remnants are almost impossible to remove. :-(
Two stars for Cat's Best Öko Plus are more than enough because it really doesn't deserve more. A shame, but it was worth a try!

Really withstands a lot
After unexpectedly ending up with 6 kittens last year, who are now all grown up, we had to find the perfect litter.
Two large litter boxes, 6 cats, and Cat's Best Öko Plus in a 40-litre bag... It really delivers on its promises – and for quite a while too. Other wood-based litters crumble after 2 days, and bentonite gets used up quickly. But not Cat's Öko!!!
It’s also super soft and doesn’t prick their paws at all!! 5 stars for that!

Oh dear ...
... My two little 7-month-old British Shorthair kittens had been using GoldenGrey with silica as litter until now. Based on the mostly positive reviews, I decided to give this litter a try and ordered the big bag straight away. Buuut, firstly, my two little ones absolutely refuse to use it and scratch around elsewhere (room corners), despite trying to lure them and sprinkling some of the old litter on top. And when they finally use it at the very last second (their front paws are on the plastic edge because it probably feels prickly), it smells awful for ages after they’ve done their business. Honestly, I have no idea where the supposed odour control is. The clumping isn’t great either, as it forms rather loose, large clumps. Of course, I also had to get a new scoop... So, I’ll be ordering GoldenGreyMaster again as quickly as possible to spare my little ones from suffering. You just can’t bear to watch it. It’s like forcing someone to use a pit toilet. Such a shame.

The perfect litter doesn’t exist.
Cats Best is one of the few litters that comes close to the ideal. Solid clumps mean it's extremely economical, with a hygienic base filling that lasts for weeks, and a natural, subtle woody scent instead of overpowering and highly questionable baby powder perfumes. The odour control is excellent. Unburied droppings smell on any litter, and unneutered animals will always dominate with a certain scent. You either have to put up with it or opt for neutering. Downsides of Cats Best: litter residues are carried out on paws, as with any litter, and Cats Best isn't always dust-free either. It's a good middle ground and certainly not deserving of a one-sided 1-star review. If this litter makes someone so unhappy that they immediately think of disposing of the entire bag after purchase, then donating the litter to an animal shelter is far more sensible than simply badmouthing it and throwing it away.

Very economical, but...
The litter is great in terms of its functionality, absolutely odour-binding and very economical. Unfortunately, it’s not suitable for my Persian cat, as it sticks to him and gets spread all over the flat.
