I'm not satisfied.
I have been using this wood litter for about 8 weeks now. I will now switch back to GoldenGrey. The only star is given for its flushability via the toilet. Otherwise, I could only find disadvantages: The litter is carried by my two cats throughout the entire flat, even up to the upper floor. I had to constantly sweep up after them. Several times a day and vacuum daily. Then, after a week or two (I hadn't even refilled it yet), it started to get dusty. The smell is not contained; the flat smells, which doesn't happen with GGM. It also doesn't get spread around the flat to this extent, let alone upstairs. My cats haven't protested so far, but my dissatisfaction is enough for me to switch back to GGM.

And yet, time and time again
I've been using this litter for more than 8 years now.
It clumps very well (as long as you don't remove it immediately, as the previous reviewer mentioned), there's no ammonia smell (which can develop quickly with 8 cats), and it's easy to dispose of in the organic waste bin.
The only downside to this litter, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it doesn't stay just in the litter box but gets carried around, which means daily vacuuming is necessary, unfortunately.
That's also why I keep trying out other litters, but none of them can match this one in terms of value for money, so I always end up coming back to Cats Best.
I hope this review was helpful!

Super cat litter, top marks!!!
I can only recommend this cat litter; I've been using it for 7 years now because, in my opinion, it's the best! I have two indoor cats, and so far, every visitor has said you wouldn't even notice that there are two cats living in the flat... The clumps only break apart if you try to remove them immediately after the cats have done their business. However, if you wait a little, they can be removed perfectly from the litter tray without falling apart (though I dispose of them in a separate bin). I clean the litter tray several times a day so that the cats always have a fresh tray, and my two kitties also think this litter is the best (I had to try a few at the beginning, of course)! And the fact that it smells a bit at first when they do their big business is completely normal – as if it’s any different for humans... But once they’ve covered it up, you don’t smell it at all anymore – and the waste can easily be disposed of via the regular toilet.
I always add a thin new layer of litter when it gets a bit emptier, so I only need to completely empty and clean the tray about every 8 weeks. You can tell it’s time to do this when the otherwise coarse litter becomes more sand-like (and therefore dustier). The fact that the cats spread a bit of litter around the bathroom is also completely normal, which is why I always keep a dustpan and brush next to the tray so I can clean it up straight away when tidying.
Long story short: Kimi, Mika, and I love this litter!!! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, my cat doesn’t want it anymore!!!
Far too much DUST for my cat and for me too! He doesn’t want to use the toilet anymore, but instead always goes in the corners next to it!
We are very disappointed.

Won't change.
Having tried both "Cats best" and "Worlds best" litters, I now stick to "Cats best" and won't change, unless they change it and make it unusable or they stop making it altogether.

Unfortunately mistaken
Unfortunately, I have to revise the review I initially wrote. I was totally thrilled at first. But over time, I’ve noticed that the bedding falls apart quite quickly, leaving the strong smell of urine spread throughout it. It forms such small clumps that you can’t remove them anymore. So, I’ll have to try a new type of bedding. Also, I wonder how "1,500 positive reviews can’t be wrong" when there aren’t even 1,500 reviews listed here!

I advise against buying it.
Although my cat accepts this litter, I can only advise against it.
The clumping is really poor because the litter is far too coarse. Urine clumps fall apart when cleaning, and faeces don’t stick to it at all. The litter smells nice in general, but it doesn’t seem to have effective odour control—it always stinks in the bathroom. Additionally, this is the only litter (from my experience) that my cat manages to drag all the way up to the bedroom with his paws.
I can recommend: Golden Grey Master cat litter!
Not eco-friendly, but good!

Unfortunately, we are disappointed...
After much deliberation, we finally decided to try CBÖP.
Initially, the fresh wood smell was quite pleasant, but unfortunately, it didn’t last long. It’s very dusty (my black cat looked like smoke after using the litter box), the clumps fall apart, and after a while, it starts to smell quite unpleasant. On top of that, we ended up with the litter scattered all over the flat because it sticks to the cat. (With three cats, we had more litter in the flat than in the litter box by the end.) Such a shame.
The only advantage: you can dispose of it in the toilet.

Stick with it
Very soft on the paws: When we moved in, my tomcat initially used the fresh litter box as a cosy basket until he realised it was meant for something else. The litter smells very pleasant when unused and does a great job of neutralising the smell of urine. However, faeces have a much stronger odour, but thanks to the option of disposing of it directly via the toilet, it’s not too bad. I also use "Beaphar Multi Fresh" mixed into the litter, which works brilliantly and keeps everything smelling fresh. The only downside to the litter is that the clumps break apart very easily, which affects its efficiency. That’s why it’s "only" 4 stars, but all in all, it’s a fantastic litter!

Quite good
This litter immediately neutralises the smell of urine, but not quite as much for the "big business." However, if you remove the faeces straight away and top up the litter, there's no odour left, just the pleasant scent of wood/plants ;)
+ It doesn't create dust!
My little tomcat accepted the litter straight away. You could clearly see that he liked it because it was pleasantly soft (I used to use hygiene litter, and he sometimes even ate it!).
It's also great that you can dispose of it via your own toilet :D

Simply brilliant!
The best litter I've had so far. Only Cat's Best Öko Plus from now on. I'm very satisfied with it.

Oh dear,...
Based on the good reviews, we decided to give this type of cat litter a try. At first, it seemed like both cats were fine with it, but by the second day, our little one decided he’d rather use hidden corners behind the door to do his business. When I tried to place him in the litter box, he resisted with all his paws and immediately jumped out in disgust. I’ve now switched back to a different type, and we’re no longer having any issues. Unfortunately, I also wasn’t impressed with the clumping. The clumps kept falling apart, making it difficult to scoop everything out. Well, it’s a shame—it didn’t work for us.

Doesn't even come close to what it promises
Based on a recommendation, I tried this litter and was initially impressed by the wood scent.
At first, my cats didn’t want to use it, but I ignored that, and after two days, they started using it. However, since then, they only use it when absolutely necessary.
The clumping is quite good, but the clumps fall apart quickly. The odour control works, but only for urine. The poo smells even worse! Plus, it’s incredibly dusty!
No thanks, unfortunately, I can’t recommend it!

Cat- and owner-dependent
I've been using CB for almost 2 years now and I'm satisfied; I'm also lucky that my two cats like it too, which isn't always so easy. Unfortunately, one of my tabbies has the annoying habit of shaking his paws outside the litter box, so a few granules end up scattered around (though this is limited to the immediate area around the box). Disposal is simple via the composter – what more could you want?

Cats
Hello!!! The litter is really great... A bit pricey, but it's worth the money. Well, you have to live with stones in the bathroom if you love cats...

Without complaints
We were recommended this litter by our breeder – many thanks for that! There’s absolutely nothing to complain about with this product; our two furry friends took to it brilliantly right from the start. It doesn’t create dust, doesn’t smell unpleasant, and is really economical. Even disposing of it via the compost works without any issues. We can truly only recommend it!

Super
I have 3 cats that live exclusively indoors. At first, I tried out a lot of different cat litters, ranging from very cheap to extremely expensive. Cat’s Best is truly the absolute best – it doesn’t create dust, has excellent odour control, and lasts forever! Oh, and despite having 3 cats, all the clumps and lumps go straight into the toilet, and even after over a year, there’s never been a problem!

After 14 days of testing
It's simply SUPER!!!
After trying thousands of cat litters, we've finally found the right one.
The chalk-based cat litter creates a lot of dust and smells awful with our little mouse after she's used the loo just once... She often did her business somewhere else because she didn't want to use the litter box anymore, but that's all in the past now.
It binds odours brilliantly, and even when cleaning, I don't feel grossed out^^
I'm happy to pay a bit more for this than for the others, and I can only recommend it – if you don't try it, it's your own fault ;)
THANK YOU ZOOPLUS!!!

Top-notch
I’m so glad that a good friend recommended this litter to me. Before, I always used Thomas litter. Whenever my little tomcat did his business, the whole flat would smell awful, and I had to clean the litter box immediately. He wouldn’t go in a second time and would just look at me as if to say, “Well, aren’t you going to clean it? I’m not going back in there.”
So, this is absolutely brilliant, even if a few crumbs stick to his fur (he’s a Norwegian Forest Cat) and I have to sweep or vacuum them up.
However, I’ve noticed that the colour has changed and it’s dustier. Has something been changed in the material?
Oh well, doesn’t matter. I always refill the litter box on the terrace and hold the scoop up high so that some of the dust blows away outside.
