Customers appreciate this cat litter for its effective clumping and odour control, making it a long-time favorite for many. However, recent changes in formula have led to dissatisfaction, with complaints about reduced clumping, increased dust, and tracking issues. Despite these negatives, some users still find it economical and environmentally friendly, praising its lightweight nature and absorbency. Overall, while it has its drawbacks, the litter remains a popular choice for its original benefits.

SUUUPER!!!
This cat litter is honestly the best I've ever tried. It doesn't smell at all, clumps wonderfully... the clumps don't fall apart like, for example, clay litter.
The only downside is that my long-haired cats spread the litter around the house quite a bit... but it's super soft and smells so pleasant, my two furry friends absolutely love it!!!
I'm definitely sticking with it.

It's so brilliant!
The cat litter is so good, I honestly didn’t expect it... You can leave it in the litter box for a really long time without it starting to smell. Thinking about how bad it used to stink before... I’d recommend this to everyone, and the price is great too!

absorbs odours brilliantly
My four love it, and so does my nose. The litter stays in the tray for 2-3 weeks, and even when you change it, it still doesn’t smell unpleasant. In comparison, I used Catsan and another finer litter before. I had to completely change the litter after just one week because it reeked so horribly of urine that the cats avoided it like the plague.

Best cat litter
I’ve tried many types of cat litter – either it didn’t neutralise odours, it ended up scattered all over the flat (I strongly advise against sandy litter like that), or it was a hassle to remove from the toilet or dispose of, or sometimes all of the above. With Cat’s Best Öko Plus, I’ve really hit the jackpot. Not only does it smell very pleasant (on its own), it absorbs odours, is incredibly easy to dispose of (toilet-friendly), crumbles less – it’s simply brilliant, and above all, eco-friendly^^. I highly recommend it, though I must point out that even this litter isn’t completely crumble-free, but it’s not much and can be cleaned up quickly – conveniently flushed down the toilet.

Bitter disappointment....
I thought I'd try something different because it's organic, but I really should have left it alone.
My cats don't like it at all and have decided to deposit their faeces in my shower instead of the litter box. And not just once, but daily!
Now I'm patiently waiting for my Golden Grey Master...

It clumps and smells like wood.
We received the 5-litre package for free. The cat litter clumps very well and largely keeps odours at bay. The litter itself has a pleasant woody scent and doesn’t smell of chemicals or even baby powder. Combined with a good hooded litter box with a filter, there’s probably nothing comparable. The only downside: the litter gets scattered around quite quickly. However, no star deducted for this, as it can happen with other types of litter too. After all, cats’ paws aren’t exactly "smooth." Highly recommended!

The urine smell is gone now.
The litter clumps well as promised, making it economical to use. It also absorbs the smell of urine very effectively. You can’t smell it at all with my two anymore!
The only downside: the smell of faeces lingers longer than with conventional types of litter, even if the missus promptly shovels a good amount of litter on top :-(

Super bedding
We tried this litter on the recommendation of our breeder and are absolutely delighted. There's no dust at all for us. Sure, a few crumbs occasionally end up outside the litter box, but with which litter doesn't that happen? We think the cat toilets hardly emit any odour. The cats liked it from the start, and so did we. Disposing of the litter via the toilet is brilliant – quick and clean. SUPER!

The Best
We used to have a small breeding setup with six large and occasionally small cats. Naturally, we're always on the lookout for really good litter. I first tested this in two of the six litter boxes. Gradually, all the cats accepted it, and we've now completely switched over. With two XXL bags, we can manage for two months, which is significantly cheaper than any litter we've used before!!
I can't confirm that it produces dust – I've seen much worse :-)
Absolutely unbeatable – almost no odour with regular cleaning
- much less waste volume
- can be disposed of via the organic waste bin or toilet

The cat started choosing other spots to do its business...
I bought this litter because it’s biodegradable. Unfortunately, my two darlings, Empress Sissy (Maine Coon) and Emperor Franz (European Shorthair + Maine Coon mix), weren’t impressed by it and decided to do their business in the royal dog bed of our dog instead – which didn’t please her at all. (Luckily, the bed is washable.) I immediately switched the litter as soon as I noticed. Now our cats are back to using the "legal" quiet spot again. For demanding imperial cats, this litter is definitely not recommended...

Dusty, cats just keep sneezing.
We would have liked to use the cat litter. Unfortunately, it’s absolutely unsuitable for my cats. Both of my Neva Masquerade cats have fur under their paws, which causes this very lightweight, extremely dusty litter to get spread everywhere. The cats just keep sneezing because of it, and they only used it as long as they didn’t have an alternative. Since then, they won’t go near it anymore... We’ve switched to Extreme Classic now... it’s okay for the most part, sometimes it smells, sometimes it doesn’t... So now I have 40 kg of this litter left over. If anyone is interested, feel free to contact me.

Smell, yield, disposal top-notch! Can't be beaten!
Light litter, very economical, easy to dispose of, smells good—even after several days! I can't understand why it’s supposed to create dust throughout the entire flat... you only fill the litter box in one spot, right??? It does produce a bit of dust, but I’m also an allergy sufferer, and it’s nowhere near as bad as it’s sometimes described. Most of the time, there’s a bit of litter in front of the cat litter box, as it’s—as already mentioned—very light, but that’s quickly cleaned up. You have to vacuum at least once a day anyway if you have pets.
The smell remains pleasant even after several days, although I do dispose of the clumps several times a day. However, if you don’t clean it for two days or longer—which isn’t exactly uncommon—I can imagine it would start to smell pretty bad!

Super good
I think the litter is great – you can’t smell a thing, it can stay in the box for a long time, so it’s also economical. The only problem: I have a Maine Coon and a Persian, and since the granules are so light, they occasionally get stuck in their fur. But compared to those thick, hard clumps from other litters, it’s really not a big deal!

The only positive: Very pleasant smell
At first, I was positively impressed by the lightness of the litter. When pouring it into the litter box, I was delighted that it smelled very pleasant and didn’t create dust, but then: Where were my cats????
After about 4 hours, my tomcat very hesitantly went into the litter box and did his business. He seemed very suspicious... But my cat... She didn’t want to use the box. She actually didn’t go near it for 22 hours. After a long time meowing, she finally went in, did her big business without burying it. On top of that, my entire flat was covered in this litter (it’s very light), so it spreads easily around the house. Additionally, it’s very sharp-edged. I immediately bought new litter. My cats were back to their "old selves." I would NEVER buy this litter again! Definitely not suitable for long-haired cats (I have 2 Persians).

Our two cats love it
And we’re really happy with it! Previously, we used a bentonite clumping litter, which was quite good too, but the odour control left a lot to be desired, and it generated a fair amount of household waste! So, we wanted a more environmentally friendly alternative. This litter has excellent clumping properties and is very easy to dispose of! Okay, it’s not completely odour-free, but if you clean regularly, I honestly can’t agree with the negative opinions, and it smells much better than the previous ones! The dust formation when filling the litter boxes is minimal. One downside is that it tends to spread outside the litter box! But that’s due to our Maine Coon – some of it sticks to her fur – though this doesn’t happen with our short-haired cat. We can live with it since both cats do their business in the basement, and any stray bits are cleaned up before the basement stairs, which is easy to vacuum or sweep quickly! All in all, this is an environmentally friendly, very good clumping, and well-odour-binding litter. With long-haired cats, you just have to accept a bit more mess!

Really not pleased, I always buy value litter and thought Id try this as bags only last us around 3-4days.
WELL! someone wrote that this lasts 3 cats 8weeks...Hmmmm did they mean as they have outdoor cats?! Lasted me 3days! and tracked everywhere.
I will stick to my value litter!

Completely odour-free!
The Eco-Plus litter absorbs urine really well and doesn’t let any odours develop at all. You can only smell a little from the "big" business.
It’s easy to scoop up and can be disposed of in the toilet without any issues. I’ve tried many types of litter, but I’m most satisfied with this one.

Simply satisfied
What's written on the packaging is exactly what's inside.
Smells good and, contrary to other reviews, doesn't spread through our flat. We've placed a regular doormat in front of the litter box, so it gets wiped off there. The cat is very happy. So are we :-)

For me, the best cat litter
I have a 5-month-old kitten and have already tried several types of cat litter from the beginning until now. Our litter box is in the kitchen, so it's very important that it doesn't smell.
I rate Cat's Best Öko Plus as the best. It only smells when the cat does her business, but I clean it up straight away. Otherwise, I clean the litter box twice a day (morning and evening). The claim on the bag that it lasts 4-6 weeks doesn't seem accurate to me. In my experience, I need to completely replace it after about 3 weeks.
