Customers appreciate this cat litter for its effective clumping and odour control, making it a long-time favorite for many. However, recent changes in formula have led to dissatisfaction, with complaints about reduced clumping, increased dust, and tracking issues. Despite these negatives, some users still find it economical and environmentally friendly, praising its lightweight nature and absorbency. Definitely the best!
This litter is the best I have ever used for my cat/s!! I highly recommend it.
In order, my opinion on why it is so great:
1) You can throw the poos and wees down the toilet! Really. This for me, living in a flat, is fantastic!
2) It clumps easily with wees and so these are easy to pick up with litter shovel. No residue.
3) Once the unwanted bits are removed and flushed away, it is odourless.
4) Stir the remainder up and it lasts forever!
Only one little negative....it does track a bit, but get a litter box mat or rug from zooplus and..... problem solved!

Hard to beat!!!
Apart from the fact that the litter is dustier than others, it impresses with its efficiency, its enormous absorbency, and its almost complete elimination of urine odour.
This price-performance ratio is unbeatable by any other litter!

At first, total enthusiasm
At first, I was totally thrilled (except for the dust). My Coonie accepted it straight away (I think it's soft and really lightweight compared to the previous litter). However, my tomcat has already had to "lose quite a bit of fur" because the litter gets stuck in his long hair, and when he cleans himself, it's disgusting, like greasy soap. Most of the time, I can only cut out the clumps (since he doesn't like being brushed) :-( Now I'm going to try the other type in pellet form... Curious to see how it goes!

....
I have to say that this litter is very dusty. Especially with the large 40-litre bags. It’s not as bad with the smaller bags.
With my two cats, a 40-litre bag lasts me about 6-8 weeks.
There is definitely "dust-sand development".

Cats Best Best Ever!
I have 4 indoor cats and will never use anything else ever again - neither will my cats! I accidentally took some crystals along to a show, and eventually had to use someone else's Cats Best, because my Oriental kitten wouldn't go to the bathroom on anything else! It DOES track, but bearing in mind all the positives, I am quite happy to clean up once a day!

Not as great anymore,.......
I have to say, it's starting to get too dusty for me now. We've been using it for 2 years, and at first, I was really impressed, but now??? Sometimes it doesn't even clump as well anymore. When my "big one" has a wee, a small puddle sometimes forms on the litter.
No, I'm going to switch to a different litter.

Simply disappointing!!
On a whim, I decided to look for a different cat litter and came across Cat's Best Öko Plus. I got some advice at a specialist store and was blown away by how highly the saleswoman recommended it. The first impression, after reading the packaging and filling the litter tray for the first time, was simply good. Unfortunately, I was quickly proven wrong. That very evening, despite the freshly cleaned litter tray, I suddenly noticed a smell in the air that I absolutely cannot and will not tolerate in my home. In short, after just one use of the tray (for a small job), it reeked terribly. I never had this experience with my old cat litter. On top of that, it’s incredibly annoying how this coarse litter gets spread all over the house as soon as the cat leaves the tray.
One positive thing, though: it’s very easy to dispose of. I immediately switched back to my old cat litter.

I almost cried -.-
Bought it, great suction power, eco-friendly, blah blah... the result: the cat has done all its business next to its litter box... now I’m just mixing it with the hygiene litter so it gets used. But now it smells more too...

It's alright...
+ Environmentally friendly
+ Lightweight
+ Economical
+ Well received
- Very dusty, especially when sifting the cat litter
- Doesn't absorb odours as well as other cat litters (e.g. Golden Grey, Extreme Classic, Biocats)
- Beach effect (as with all cat litters)

It’s dusty.
I have been using this cat litter for years, but I have to say that for about a year now, the litter has been very dusty, and my cats have been sneezing more and more when they dig. Afterwards, their faces are completely covered in dust.

Why are you making such a fuss???
Honestly, some people really make you shake your head here -_-
Saying that this litter causes such a huuuuuge "beach effect" and, even worse, doesn’t absorb properly has got to be the joke of the year!
CBÖP is honestly the BEST litter I’ve ever used!
Suuuuper economical, lasts ages, and absorbs odours really well (of course fresh cat poo stinks, no matter what litter you use… and let’s be real, human waste doesn’t exactly smell like "eau de cologne" either)!!!
It’s 100% eco-friendly and can be disposed of via the toilet (saves you, especially as a woman, the hassle of lugging heavy bin bags back and forth!).
It’s not harmful to cats and smells absolutely AMAZING, like a forest!!!
What more do you want???
No other litter is coming into my house anymore, and I’m glad my cats love it just as much as I do!
Can someone please name me a CLUMPING litter that doesn’t have a beach effect?!
And with CBÖP, that only happens waaaaay later after weeks, when the little clumps slowly start to crumble… everything has an end, even CBÖP!
But it’s definitely earned the title of "BEST" ;)

Unfortunately, too much dust.
I bought this litter based on the many positive reviews. The litter clumps very well, but unfortunately, it produces a lot of dust. I have a dust allergy and constantly have to sneeze or struggle to breathe when cleaning the toilet. Therefore, it’s absolutely not recommended for people with a dust allergy.

Dust - Allergy
I’m astonished that Cats Best Oeko Plus cat litter has been rated so highly. Unfortunately, I have to say that I wasn’t satisfied with the cat litter at all. My three Devon Rex cats developed dust allergies because of it.

Best bedding
My indoor cats love this litter. It smells really fresh, almost like being in the forest. The litter clumps really well. I'm very satisfied.

UGH...
That's complete nonsense! The bit about how it kicks up dust! Just a few centimetres at the edge -.- The litter is amazing! My boyfriend was like: "Oh no, a cat. Then the whole flat will always smell like a toilet!" NO! Not at all! Barely any smell, and the fact that poo stinks is normal. I have a covered corner litter box, and we don't notice any odour from it. PERFECT! Even now, after 1 month, I can still say that! :) And I only clean it once a day ;)

Best Litter I've found.
This stuff is great! Really good at clumping and odour control.
There is a slight issue with tracking but no more so than with any other fine-grain litter.
Would definately recommend. The fact that you can flush the clumps or compost the litter makes it so easy to dispose of.

Can't complain
I have 4 cats. Previously used bentonite litter. The litter or crumbs definitely stick to their paws, no matter the type. Especially the Maine Coon.
The smell is significantly better. The house doesn’t stink like a cat toilet. It’s lightweight, and I can burn it in the oven. Zero waste! The cats like it, and with 4 tigers, you have to vacuum daily anyway—if that’s enough...

Dust dust dust
At first, the litter was really good, but for about half a year now, it’s been getting dustier and dustier. When cleaning the toilets, you end up having full-on sneezing fits – such a shame.

I can't believe you all like it!
This litter is the worst I've ever used as it requires constant attention. I thought that I'd swap from clay clumping litter for my growing Maine Coon kittens to a wood based one, eventually moving to the big litter pellets as they get to 6-8 months old. It doesn't clump too well (bits drop off as you gently scoop up clumps) and it's so small and light it tracks all over the kitchen, I have to sweep the floor regularly. The only plus over clay is it smells nicer. I really wasn't impressed and would not buy again.
