Not quite so great
We used this cat litter for almost a year. Then one of our tomcats started to become unclean, probably because the litter was too dusty for him. Cleaning our large litter box became unbearable due to the dust. On top of that, it always stuck to their fur and got spread all over the flat, despite having a toilet mat.
We've now switched to Extreme Classic. Unfortunately, it's not biodegradable, but I can highly recommend it to everyone (no smell, no dust, very efficient). And the tomcat no longer goes everywhere!

The best
For me, there’s no better cat litter, it’s just a shame that it’s so expensive, because with 11 cats I need quite a lot of it!

Dusts excessively – poorly absorbs odours
The dust development during cleaning is so severe that it causes breathing problems. I think this litter is a health concern for both humans and animals.

Everything customised...
I’ve read through quite a few (actually, a lot of) comments here (both the bad and the good ones).
Someone mentioned that you can’t sift it properly because the clumps and the litter are too big. How about using a scoop with bigger holes? If you’re using a fine sieve, you might as well build a sandbox. Besides, anyone who isn’t BLIND can see what kind of scoop is needed for this.
I manage just fine when cleaning (I clean every day).
The smell isn’t suitable for an open litter box. I can’t quite figure out what it smells like—there are sensitive noses and less sensitive ones. For me, it’s not an unpleasant smell, and my cat uses the litter box without any issues.
It doesn’t create ANY dust for me, not even when cleaning. It clumps a lot, which shows it has high absorbency, though I find it a bit wasteful, and the litter isn’t exactly cheap either.

No other one anymore.
After reading many very contradictory reviews, I decided to test the cat litter myself with my cats.
On the topic of dust:
Yes, it’s dusty. A little. I’ve already gone through several packs in the past few weeks and didn’t find the dust problematic at all. When pouring it into the litter box, it’s noticeably dusty, but not a big deal. It’s absolutely no problem for me, and my cats accepted it immediately, which they’ve never done with any other litter before.
Clumping:
It clumps brilliantly! My cats have the habit of quickly doing their business while I’m cleaning the litter boxes so I can take care of that too. So, I regularly get to deal with very fresh deposits and can say that a urine clump with this litter becomes super hard immediately, doesn’t crumble, and can be removed easily and cleanly. It doesn’t get better than this.
Smell:
The litter smells pleasantly of freshly cut wood, very pine-heavy. :) The odour control is excellent, even with my two little stinkers – as long as you clean the litter box daily, which should go without saying. To be fair, it must be noted that the smell potential of cat poo also depends on the individual animal and the food provided, so there can be differences that have nothing to do with the litter used. For us, the litter works perfectly.
Tracking:
Due to the lightweight nature of the litter, it naturally tends to stick to paws and get spread around the house a bit. However, the litter I used before was much worse, so I now see this as a significant improvement. Anyone who owns a vacuum cleaner and uses it occasionally won’t have any noteworthy issues with this. Of course, it would be nicer if there were no tracking at all – but I’ve never had that with any litter.
Conclusion:
As a single cat owner, I’m very glad that the litter is nice and light, and I don’t have to gasp for air like an asthmatic when lugging it up to my flat on the first floor. The cats used it immediately after the initial filling and liked it better than their previous litter right away. It smells good, clumps excellently, and the bit of dust when filling (every few weeks!) won’t kill us. The claim that someone supposedly developed a dust allergy from this litter – oh, come on. I can’t believe that for a second. Either you have an allergy, or you don’t. If you only notice the allergy because of the litter, that’s unfortunate – but not the product’s fault.

Perfect
I use the cat litter myself, and it's great. It absorbs well and doesn't smell like urine. The solid waste smells a bit, but you can dispose of it in the household toilet, as well as the clumps, which helps reduce waste. I can make it last for 8 months.
But here's a tip for everyone leaving negative reviews: buy the CatGenie. It cleans itself, but it needs to be connected to cold water and the wastewater system. Then you won't have these problems anymore, though you'll have to pay €384 straight away.

Good for the environment - bad for the nose and lungs!
For years, we used PREMIERE clumping litter and only switched because the small granules were scattered all over the flat.
Due to the many positive reviews about Cats Best Öko Plus litter, we decided to give it a try, especially since it can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way via organic waste.
We’ve now tested it for quite a long time and initially tolerated the occasional stink attacks from the litter box as exceptions. But after almost 4 months, we’re giving up and going back to the good old PREMIERE, even if it means vacuuming the flat a bit more often.
The smell of Cats Best Öko is truly revolting.
We clean the litter box daily, but as soon as one of the cats has used it, the stench is unbearable, and we have to open all the windows and doors to air out the place.
Even our cats seem unhappy with the smell, as they go back to the litter box up to three times after doing their business, trying to bury it even more.
Cleaning the litter box is also a nightmare for the lungs. The litter produces such sneaky dust that you end up coughing for a while afterwards.
CONCLUSION: A good idea to develop litter for the organic bin, but the litter should still fulfil its main purpose!

Clumps poorly and hardly absorbs odours
I am very disappointed with this cat litter. It clumps poorly, and it's not as easy as with other types of cat litter to scoop up the clumps with the shovel, as the litter is very thick and the clean litter doesn't fall through the shovel. Sifting doesn't work as a result. Additionally, it absorbs odours very poorly. I can now smell from the other side of the flat when one of my cats has used the toilet.

One shouldn't always rely on other reviews, even if most of them are positive.
I bought this litter on Saturday just to give it a try, and I have to say, while it does stop the grains from being scattered all over the house, the rest is really not good. It doesn’t absorb the smell when the cat has done its business, and the clumping isn’t great either. So I’ll be going back to the litter with the baby powder scent, because at least that one absorbs the smell and the clumping is much better. But this one is a disaster, and I’ll be glad to get rid of it.

Dusts too much
I bought this litter because it’s so highly praised, but I’m very disappointed. The odour control lasts a maximum of 2 days, and what really bothers me is the immense amount of dust that forms so quickly! When I think about my cats breathing that in every time they use the toilet... No, I didn’t even finish the bag I bought. The litter is just plain disappointing to me! (The concept of sustainability had really impressed me!!!) I’ve now switched to a litter with very small pebbles and I’m very satisfied.

Cats ignore it!
The litter is super easy to handle, much lighter compared to bentonite litter and economical in use. However, after a while, cats tend to ignore this litter and simply stop accepting it!

Doesn't absorb odours well
I bought this cat litter because I can dispose of it via the toilet, which I find very convenient.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t absorb odours well, and after each of my cats’ business (I dispose of the clumps several times a day), the whole flat smells.
Additionally, it’s quite dusty, and the litter sticks to the kittens’ paws.
As soon as the pack is empty, I’ll definitely switch to a different cat litter.

EXCELLENT!
Finally, after years of trying and searching for the right cat litter, we've found the best one. We have one open and one hooded litter box for our two cats. The litter is ultra-light (the litter box is no longer several kilograms heavy, making it easy to move aside for cleaning) and the wood pellets swell up—enormous absorbency. The cat urine seeps in, the bottom stays dry, and the clump can be easily removed. Finally, no more urine film between the tray and the lid. Urine used to somehow collect there and then leak out at the edge between the litter box and the hood. That’s now gone. The only thing is that the cats don’t bury their droppings, but you can simply remove them straight away, so no further odour develops. I removed the clumps daily, topped up the litter once a week, and only replaced it completely once a month. NO urine smell during the entire time! No one can smell that we have cats anymore. A litter depth of about 10cm worked perfectly. There’s absolutely no dust, and if small wood crumbs end up outside the box, they’re easy to sweep up—much nicer than crunchy litter on the tiles. It smells pleasantly of fresh sawdust, even during use. A 20L bag lasted three months per cat for us!!!! Super economical. During this time, there was truly no urine smell. Now it’s empty, and we used the previous clumping litter again, but the freshly cleaned litter box already noticeably stinks of wet clumping litter and urine after just one day, with a cement-like smell. So, we’re immediately ordering Cat’s Best Öko again :-). As long as the quality doesn’t deteriorate, this is the only litter we’ll use!

I think it's perfect, you can't smell anything at all.
It's highly recommended.
It does NOT stick to the paws and is easy to clean!!!

Super, with minor drawbacks
We were quickly disappointed by the recommended "feeding bowl" litter and found the perfect alternative with this one. The advantages outweigh any potential disadvantages that every other litter has anyway.
Some of the reviews here, though, really make you shake your head. Don't forget: it's still JUST cat litter!
Sure, it probably gets scattered around the house, but so do all the others. However, your toilet user is to blame for that! Our tomcat, for example, always leaps out of the litter box in one go and is inevitably accompanied by a wave of cat litter.
If you're unhappy with the clumping, then give the litter 5 minutes to solidify before you start scooping it out. It's also particularly helpful to clean the litter box with your eyes open and carefully, not like a lunatic, gently probing with the scoop to find a clump and then carefully removing it from underneath with the scoop. That way, nothing falls apart anymore! If you're smashing the clumps with the scoop, that's your own fault—no other litter will hold up to that either!

Doesn't live up to its promises
I have a 6-month-old tomcat who pees like a champion. For the past 4 months, I’ve been trying out all sorts of cat litter, from non-clumping to clumping, from clay to eco-friendly, hoping to find the ultimate litter. Based on the mostly very positive reviews from many cat owners, I decided to give this highly praised eco-litter a try, and I’m disappointed. While it initially smells pleasantly woody and lasts about 4 to 5 days before starting to stink, it doesn’t clump well at all. Instead, it forms mushy piles that fall apart when you try to scoop them out of the litter box, leaving small chunks scattered throughout the remaining litter, which are difficult, if not impossible, to fully remove.
Additionally, my little tomcat is a "sit-pee-er," meaning when he sits in the litter to pee, the litter becomes wet and mushy, sticking to his bottom and fur quite badly. Even when I try to clean him with a damp cloth, it only works moderately well. On top of that, remnants of the old litter that can’t be completely removed stick to the bottom of the litter box so firmly that you can only scrub them off with hot water, washing-up liquid, and a brush. To make matters worse, the dust that forms and settles on the edges of the litter box becomes greasy when you clean the box with water, which you notice when drying it afterwards. You often have to wipe it down repeatedly with toilet paper to get the box properly clean and dry again.
Unfortunately, this eco-litter hasn’t convinced me at all. And other clumping litters I’ve tried so far, hoping to reduce waste, have also fallen short of my expectations – either they didn’t clump properly, or the clumps became so rock-hard that you could only scrape them off the bottom of the litter box with great effort, even needing water to help. Moreover, the baby powder scent included in many litters is almost more unpleasant than the smell of cat urine. So, for my part, I’ll be switching back to regular litter and accepting more waste and higher costs rather than continuing to be disappointed by clumping or eco-friendly litters.

3 House Moggies approve but too expensive
Was put off by the price at first, but caved in as was getting fed up with the previous litter I used always being over the floor or not absorbing well enough in the trays.
I have 3 cats who are kept indoors temporarily whilst we cat safe the fence from the road. I am very impressed with just how well this litter clumps, absorbing much much more urine into a small space than other litters do.
Having 3 indoor cats, for me this means I don't have to rush about quite as much all day scooping the 4 trays I have in case they go outside the tray. My tabby is also very very fussy about where he goes, usually the carpet or on the puppy training pads! but even he has now started using the tray again now it has this in it, so very pleased about that! It clumps very solidly so doesn't spill all over the floor when you scoop and condenses waste into much smaller piles, leaving more space in the tray for the cats to carry on using until you get round to scooping out.
The down size is the expense and it IS very expensive in my opinion, but as a temporary measure until my cats can go outside again, it's something I've decided to put up with so have ordered some more.

Good litter with minor flaws
The litter clumps very well and absorbs moisture effectively. Unfortunately, our two Persians spread the pellets all over the flat.
Cat's Best is very suitable for short-haired cats!
