Super Litter
We were looking for something that could withstand the tomcat and wouldn’t be dangerous for the kittens. This ticks all the boxes. Smells good. The cats love it, and it’s easy to handle. Carefully dispose of the clumps via the toilet and top up with a bit of litter. Plus, it’s very lightweight.

Dusts incredibly
After a few weeks, the litter needs to be changed; otherwise, when the cat scratches, it creates an incredible amount of dust. The dust settles everywhere. The cats (2) also carry it all over the place. But this is probably unavoidable with any litter. On the plus side, the clumps are easy to remove, and it doesn’t smell (though it does clog up your nose with dust) :)

The best litter EVER!
Cat's Best Öko Plus has completely won us over! We spent over a year trying out various supposedly good litters... we tried everything, brands like Catsan, no-name products, clumping litter, silica litter... scented litter... it ALWAYS created dust, smelled bad, didn’t clump, and made a mess of the flat – not to mention the poor value for money and lack of efficiency! CBÖP was just an experiment after I’d read so many positive reviews... and I fell in love IMMEDIATELY! A subtle, woody scent and virtually no dust at all, with a pleasantly light and soft texture. => The cats accepted it straight away, just like any other litter, and WOW, urine clumps almost instantly into a solid unit and doesn’t smell! Even the solid waste doesn’t smell (provided the cats actually bury it properly ^.~), and the 40-litre bag lasts about 2 months with 2 cats! We’ve been convinced for years now – it’s simply brilliant, and it’s good for the environment too! It’s just a shame that it’s now about €5 more expensive...

Stick with it
I've been using this cat litter for more than 2 years now and, overall, I'm quite satisfied. There's no trouble disposing of the waste in the toilet. However, the quality has deteriorated, even though the price has gone up. What bothers me is the increased dust formation and the tracking and spreading of crumbs around the flat.

Torture for my tomcat
I’ve also used this litter happily for years.
Now, due to special food, the amount of urine from my tomcat has increased, and at 18 years old, he’s not quite as obsessed with grooming anymore. This leads to clumps forming under his claws, which then become rock-hard and are very difficult to remove.
I always loved how easy it was to handle because of its light weight. I also feel like the odour control has worsened. Such a shame... time to start looking again.

The quality has deteriorated significantly!
I can only agree with the previous reviewers. After years of satisfaction, I’ve been nothing but disappointed for some time now! The clumps fall apart even before they’re on the scoop, creating an absolute mess around the litter box and throughout the house. This really can’t be acceptable. Dear manufacturers, if you want to make your customers happy again and avoid further negative reviews, you should urgently take action and restore the litter to its former quality! People will surely thank you for it!

Average litter
Clumps poorly, the clumps fall apart before I even get them into the bag... otherwise it's okay - but unfortunately, I'll have to keep looking for a suitable litter...

In the past, it would have been 5 stars, but now ........
We've been using this litter for our group of cats for several years now and were always more than satisfied. We even used to enthusiastically recommend it to our kitten buyers and other breeders – but I wouldn't do that anymore today.
The positives: Sure, it spreads throughout the entire house, but other litters do that too. However, it's very easy to dispose of and doesn't weigh a ton when you're taking the cats' waste to the bin. :-)
The negatives: What really bothers me is that the quality has noticeably declined. Most of the time, there's more dust than litter in the package, and as a result, it no longer clumps well. The price would be reasonable, albeit quite high, if the quality were back to what it used to be.
So, we're currently trying out other brands to find something as good as this litter used to be. Maybe someone from the company will read this and give it some thought?

over the years ...
The quality has declined; it starts to produce dust and crumble after a short time. Meanwhile, the price has increased by a remarkable €10 in just under 10 years.

best litter EVER
simply the best cat litter ever. only the faintest sawdusty smell from it, it clumps really well and it's a doddle to clean the clumps out. i can see it lasting for ages and i'll definitely be sticking to this brand. one happy kitty, one happy owner!

Brilliant!
I had a problem with tracking - even finding bits of litter upstairs! Now it just tracks a little around the litter box, therefore much easier to keep clean. I use an extra large scoop, once a day with a top up if necessary, and now only need a complete litter change once a week. It works out cheaper too as one 10l bag (£7.99) will last two weeks (2 cats) instead of four 10l bags of ordinary stuff (approx. £12 every two weeks).

Smells, dusty, and...
I've had cats for almost 30 years, but I've never come across such awful (and expensive) litter before. The clumps fall apart and stick to the floor. It’s incredibly dusty, and the little stones end up scattered all over the flat. So, no more experiments for me—only Biokats Premium Fresh from now on.

Quality reduction & price increase
I've been familiar with this litter for over ten years now. Back then, I had my first cat, and now I have cats again and am using Catsbest once more.
However, the quality has noticeably declined over the past year.
There's an excessive amount of dust—sometimes it feels like a quarter of the entire bag is just dust. With the last bag, the final litter refill from it was actually 50% dust. As a result, it clumped poorly and even clogged (for the first time ever) the toilet, where I occasionally dispose of clumps. This had never caused any issues before.
As I just noticed, the price has also drastically increased: from the previous £22.99 (or £20.99 on offer) to £25.99 (or £23.99 on offer).
This makes the litter quite expensive, and I'm considering whether I’ll continue ordering it at this quality.
The current bag is slightly better again, but still nowhere near as good as it was a few years ago.
Looking at the reviews, I see that others have also noticed the dust issue... otherwise, I might not have trusted my perception so quickly.
What a shame!

Finds brilliant!
I've been using this litter for over a year now, and I think it has far too many advantages compared to mineral-based ones. It smells better, can be disposed of via the organic waste bin or the toilet, and the cats accepted it right from the start (even several foster cats became house-trained straight away with this litter). To deal with the crumbs, the cats now simply have a doormat from the DIY store, so it doesn't get spread around the flat as much. However, this is clearly a minor downside of this litter (it's a bit lighter than the mineral-based one).
Despite all that, a definite recommendation to buy!

Super cat litter
This litter is absolutely convincing!! You can really flush small amounts down the toilet—no blockages. I tried it out in our new cat litter box. It doesn’t stick to the box or the scoop when wet. We’ve been using it for several months now, and there’s not a single scratch in the litter box because you don’t have to scrape anything off. The clumps that form aren’t hard but small, cohesive, and somehow lightweight. We have three cats and three litter boxes, and you can’t smell anything when you walk into the flat (unless the ladies forgot to cover their mess). The litter is very economical; occasionally topping it up is completely sufficient. After 8 weeks without any unpleasant odours or a litter box that looks sticky, I wondered why I should replace the contents entirely. The only reason was that after such a long time, the litter had a higher dust content due to all the scratching by the cats. Otherwise, I’ve placed a small dirt-trapping mat in front of the box. That’s enough to prevent litter stuck to their paws from being carried all over the flat. I’ve tried so many types of litter. For me, no other cat litter will come into the house except Cat’s Best Öko Plus. I’m completely satisfied and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Good at clumping but really messy
I have an indoor cat and I have a preference to wood based litters. I was impressed with the way the cat litter clumped. However, I've given this a 2 star as I constantly had to sweep up the litter. I've reverted back to my previous brand which is cheaper and not as messy. Glad I tried it but sadly I won't be buying again.
