Never going back to another litter!
Prior to buying this litter I was cleaning the tray out daily to try to rid my house of the smell of cat pee from my one young Bengal, it was making life miserable. I bought this thinking it would be the same as other litters but wow, the difference! This is amazing, it lasts for ages before needing to be changed and simply DOES NOT SMELL!! It's revolutionised our life quite literally. I won't buy another litter now. Yes it's expensive on the face of it but it really does last so much longer than cheaper litters so you don't have to fork out so often. Brilliant!!

Quality has deteriorated significantly
I’ve always been very satisfied, and all of a sudden, not a single decent clump forms anymore… from one package to the next! Everything crumbles apart, and it’s a massive mess…
Such a shame.

Superb bedding!
I've been using it for years, even though I have two Persians and a domestic cat, as the litter does tend to stick to the Persians' fur at the back. Nevertheless, the other advantages outweigh this – I can dispose of the clumps in the organic waste, it's lightweight, and especially in summer, it's odourless. As long as this litter is available, I'll stay loyal to it. I always buy enough for a whole year, and it's also incredibly economical to use.

The lumps crumble.
Unfortunately, the quality has dropped so much that I had to switch to a different litter :-( Such a shame, it was my favourite for years!… The manufacturer also seems to think they don’t need to comment further… well, not "anymore".

Best natural litter
Since I have 4 Siamese cats and there's always one of them using the litter box, I've tried every type of litter over the past 14 years. Most of the time, after a while, it would start to smell unpleasantly of cat or urine. On top of that, one of my Siamese cats developed asthma due to litter dust and artificial fragrances. Since I started using Cat's Best Öko, the asthma has improved significantly. There's absolutely no smell of urine or anything else. Plus, it's much more economical than all the others. I used to need 4 large bags of clumping litter per week because it had to be cleaned out completely so often. Now, one XXL bag lasts me a whole month. That's a 50% saving, and my cats' health comes first.

What's going on?
...I've been a cat owner for 2 years now (9 indoor cats). At the beginning, I tried many things and was very happy to have found Cat's Best. I've already donated the second bag to the animal shelter because the clumps fall apart and the odour is no longer contained at all. Now I have to start looking again, as this price combined with daily full cleaning is becoming too expensive for me. It's a shame that the quality is no longer what we were used to.

It's alright...
The clumping behaviour is unfortunately not as good as, for example, Biocat.

Lives up to its promises
We've tried many options, but we've stuck with this one. The litter really delivers on its promises: it's very efficient, hardly any odour, and the cats accept it – plus, it's affordable. Full marks.

Never again!!!!
I will definitely not buy it again.
Suddenly, one of my two cats (indoor only) stopped using the litter box. I had the feeling she was simply disgusted by it. The litter boxes are cleaned three times a day (before work, after work, and before bedtime). I then switched to Golden Grey Master. That was and still is wonderfully accepted. A plus point is definitely the light weight, but a downside was always the mess around the litter box.

Does what it says.
The cost of this litter made me think twice about buying it, but I started off with a small bag, and am so glad I did. I have now bought a huge bag. I have kept cats all my adult life and this is the first litter I have tried which does what it says. It clumps all urine so that it can be scooped out, and the tray always smells fresh after scooping. I top it up as I feel necessary, and with two cats using one tray it lasts for ages. I was used to having to completely empty the tray, wash it and completely refill, twice a week with previous litters but with Cat's Best this is not necessary. It does track out of the litter box,a bit, but so have other litters, and I have put the litter box onto a little mat to contain the mess. I carry the bottom of the litter box to the toilet, and simply scoop and flush everything away. It makes life so much easier, try it.

Well...
I can only agree with some of the critics, unfortunately: Basically, it smells very pleasantly woody – I really like that, but the clumping is not what I had hoped for after reading so many positive opinions here... quite the opposite. For the price and the overwhelming praise, I expected more. My baby cat looked at me suspiciously at first but eventually went ahead and used it – and as I said, the clumping is definitely a fail – at least considering the rather high price here :)
I'll wait and see, will use it up, but it's highly likely that I won't stick with this litter.

What's going on with Cat's Best?
I’ve been using CBÖP for several years now, as I thought I had finally found the best litter after a long search. But unfortunately, not only has the price gone up, the quality has also gone downhill! No sign of decent clumping anymore. Looks like I’ll have to start searching again—such a shame!!

Very good BUT
After reading up on this brand of cat litter, I would buy a bag and give it a go, It is very good, no smells BUT it does leave bits on carpet, Went out and brought a rechargable hoover, So now the bits can be hoovered up and not causing any more problems, It is more expensive than what I was using before BUT you use less of this and it does not smell at all, Only have the one indoor cat that using the litter box

My cats are on strike
After seeing the good test results, I ordered a bag and filled one of my two litter boxes with the litter. This experiment lasted for three days, but my cats completely rejected this litter box and only used the other one. Unfortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful.

Very good litter, but with a beach effect
The litter is very well accepted by our cat. It also has a nice woody smell and only creates a little dust when pouring it in – I've had different experiences before. The litter clumps very well and also binds odours relatively well. What I find particularly practical is that you only need to completely change the litter every two weeks.
However, the scattering effect is a bit annoying; despite having a mat in front of the toilet, you still find litter grains all over the flat, so I'm deducting one star. Otherwise, the litter is highly recommended!

Cats Best Plus
There’s no better cat litter than Cat’s Best Öko Plus.
I’ve been using it for 15 years now. All my visitors say, “You’ve got two cats, and it doesn’t even smell.”
With many people, their place reeks of a cat litter tray – if I were a cat, I’d rather do my business somewhere else.

Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter
I breed Norwegian Forest Cats and currently have 11 cats in the house. For the past few weeks, I’ve been testing Cat's Best Öko Plus cat litter to lighten the load of my heavy rubbish bin. At first, my cats were hesitant to accept the new litter and even left a little mess next to the toilet. Unfortunately, the lightweight pellets get scattered all over the room. The clumping properties are quite good, and I find the wood scent pleasant. However, some of my cats are "diggers," which causes the pellets to quickly break down into fine dust in the litter box. When cleaning the litter box, this dust triggers a coughing fit and an unpleasant scratchy feeling in my throat. Since I don’t consider this healthy, I’ll be switching back to the usual low-dust clumping litter, as I don’t want to risk my health or that of my cats.

Catsan just can't keep up with that ;)
I tried Cats Best Öko Plus cat litter for the first time, and I’m thrilled. My two kitties love it too! ;) It’s much more economical than others I’ve used before. I can only recommend it.

Our whole flat stinks!
I used this litter a year ago and then switched to another one. A few days ago, I couldn’t remember why I had stopped using it, so yesterday I bought a 40-litre bag again. Since last night, the litter has been in the toilet, and now it smells absolutely awful. The bathroom reeks so badly, and the smell even spreads to other rooms in the flat.
We have three cats and clean out the clumps from the litter box every day, but I just don’t understand why it smells so excessively bad for us. The clumps themselves are great, but the problem is that one of our tomcats doesn’t cover up his big business, so it just sits on top of the litter. However, the smell was already bad before that. Everyone writes about the great odour control, but unfortunately, we haven’t noticed any of that.

The BEST!!!
I’ve had cats for 20 years and have tried almost every type of litter out there. The last one I tried, three days ago, was Tigerino Ecoverde, also wood-based. That’s it, I’m done – no matter what happens, I won’t be trying any other litter again. Some people complain that the litter gets carried out of the litter box, but I have three cats, including a long-haired one, and the amount of "lost" litter is really minimal. In terms of quality, odour control (there’s absolutely none), and value for money, it’s unbeatable!!!
