Customers appreciate this cat litter for its effective clumping and odour control, making it a long-time favorite for many. However, recent changes in formula have led to dissatisfaction, with complaints about reduced clumping, increased dust, and tracking issues. Despite these negatives, some users still find it economical and environmentally friendly, praising its lightweight nature and absorbency. Finally
Yes, finally a cat litter that ticks all the boxes! Our 12-year-old cat accepted this litter straight away, and disposing of her little and big business is absolutely hassle-free, plus it's completely odourless. With my injured right shoulder, transporting it to another room is also much easier than before, as this litter isn't as heavy as the one we've used all these years. I can wholeheartedly recommend this litter 100%!

best litter
First of all, it's flushable, and my little tomcats have loved it for 4 years.
They also like going to the loo, and there's a lot of digging around.
I can't complain about crumbling clumps.
It does create a bit of dust, but that's not a big deal.
I use it without any issues for 6 weeks, with occasional refills depending on how often and how big the cats' business is :-)

"Beach vibes", otherwise top-notch
The first litter that I’m satisfied with in terms of both odour control and clumping, and disposal is super easy. Plus, it has a pleasant wood scent.
The cats absolutely love it!
The only small downside is that the cats tend to take quite a bit of it out of the box, so if you don’t sweep up diligently, a sort of sandbox could form next to it. ;)

My cats like it...
I've been using this cat litter for years now. It's true that it gets dusty when it dries out over time (you just have to be careful when searching for clumps in the litter), and it's also true that the clumps sometimes fall apart (though others don't—no idea why). But here's the thing... My cats like it, and you can tell because they happily go to the litter box and, after doing their business, they enthusiastically dig around to instinctively bury their waste.
I once bought a mineral-based cat litter, and my cats clearly disliked going to the litter box and stopped properly covering their mess. After three days, I rushed out to buy Cat's Best again because I was worried they'd protest by doing their business elsewhere in the flat.
I'm deducting one star for the dust, but otherwise, my cats—and therefore I—are completely satisfied with it. Oh, before I forget: I easily get four months out of a 40L bag, and that's with three indoor cats (no outdoor access).

At last - the house has stopped smelling like a public toilet!
We have 2 kittens that are indoors till they get their jabs. Tried regular clay litter, wood pellets and supermarket own odour control type. With each type after 2 days the house would reek of their stale urine and I'd have to completely empty and refil the tray. I switched to Oko a week ago and I am sat next to the tray as I type and I can't smell a thing - it's such a relief! When the kittens pee I just have to fish out a golf ball size of clumped litter and the rest remains fresh. It may seem expensive initially but if I don't need to replace the entire tray contents every other day (or even at all?!) then the bag is going to last ages (p.s the large bag on zooplus is cheaper than anywhere else I could find on the net). Yes it does track more than other types, but I have contained the litter tray inside a cardboard box with a 5 inch wide opening cut down one side and put a grooved door mat in front and it contains the litter pretty well. For me having a few flecks of litter on the carpet is preferable to people gasping for breath when you open the front door!

Absolutely not on!
What a shame. I let myself be guided by all the positive reviews and thought this was an absolute "super litter". But unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The first good impression: the litter smells pleasantly of wood... and that’s about it. From there, it went downhill. The litter doesn’t clump properly; the clumps fall apart when you try to remove them. And the worst part: as soon as my cat uses the litter box, the smell of cat faeces spreads horribly throughout the entire flat. My tomcat then frantically tries to bury his mess, but it’s all in vain because the stench simply can’t be "covered up". Even the bath mat, which is 50cm away, gets dragged into the mix in his desperate attempt to fix it and make the smell go away. No, I won’t put my cat through this anymore! Away with this litter!
On top of that, he tracks the litter all over the flat because the coarse chunks get stuck in his paw pads, which is surely anything but comfortable for him.
Conclusion: Rubbish!!! Out of a 20L bag, I’ve used about 10L... the rest is going straight in the bin!

... I am disappointed ...
I chose this cat litter because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, I’m quite disappointed as I’ve ended up with the litter spread all over the flat. I can’t keep up with sweeping it up anymore, and it’s driving me mad. I also wouldn’t say it’s much more long-lasting than other litters. It’s true that the clumps fall apart when you clean out the litter tray, but it’s not so bad that you can’t remove them easily.

Super cat litter
My two indoor cats are absolutely thrilled with this product. I had tried many others before, and none of them appealed to them until I came across Cat's Best. I discovered it through the internet. Keep up the great work – it's simply fantastic, and my indoor cats thank you from the bottom of their hearts. Lots of love from Oberhausen, from your indoor cats Lissie and Tremp.

Super cat litter
I've been using this litter for many years and I'm very happy with it. Especially since my daughter discovered that you can dispose of it in the toilet. And I have peace of mind when it comes to the environment. It binds odours really well and is incredibly economical. For my two furry friends, I only need 3 large bags a year. And that's despite my Ayla having chronic cystitis. Oh, and the litter was accepted without any issues when we switched to it. ;)

Once upon a time...
I used this litter for 2 years and was always very happy with it, especially because you could dispose of it directly in the household toilet^^
But what happened? It no longer clumps, turns into mush in the toilet, smells like urine after just 3 days, and is super dusty o_O
A lot of money for rubbish quality?
Not for me or my cats...

Best litter!!
This is the best litter we've had so far. I'm super satisfied; it hardly smells, if at all, and it's also very easy to clean since the litter is lighter than regular clumping litter. One downside, though, is that it doesn't clump perfectly or the clumps break apart quickly. Still, we'll only be buying this one from now on.

Lovin this litter!
Been using this litter for a few days now and so far so good!
No bad smells and i like how it clumps, underneath rather than on top.
Previously i have been using Catsan and Clean 'N' Tidy but both had bad oder. Catsan also wold full absorb my 2 kittens pee and it just sat in a puddle at the bottom and Clean 'n' Tidy clumped like cement and could be quite tricky to remove.
So far this little is easy to managed and like i said no oder :-) The reason this didn't get a 5* was because of the tracking. It does track more than the other litters i've used but it doesn't get stuck in my cats fur or other places so i plan on sticking to this litter for a good while :-)

Mix it with Extreme Classic
I mix it with Extreme Classic fragrance-free, the huge advantage of Cat's Best is that it's completely dust-free! Personally, though, it doesn't clump enough for me, hence the mix with Extreme Classic.
Otherwise, the odour control is relatively okay, as long as you clean the litter box regularly.
But overall, it's truly the best litter I've had so far, and it was accepted straight away! Brilliant!

Quality has gone downhill!
We’ve been using this cat litter for 3 years and have always been very satisfied with it until now. However, the last time we bought it, we were very disappointed. The cat litter no longer clumps as it used to, making it impossible to keep the litter box truly clean, and instead of changing the litter every 4 weeks, we now have to replace it completely every two weeks.
Really such a shame!

Quality has significantly declined.
I’ve been using this cat litter for 2 years and was extremely satisfied at first.
However, lately, I’m not happy with it at all. Maybe I’ve ended up with a “Monday batch” this time. The litter doesn’t clump as nicely as I’m used to. Normally, it would form really nice balls. Now, the clumping isn’t as good anymore. The clumps crumble easily, or sometimes they don’t form at all. The litter just gets damp.
I still have one bag in reserve and will check if the quality is just as bad there.
If it is, I’ll have to switch to a new litter.

Cat hygiene
I have tested several cat litters for their quality and have come to the conclusion that Cats Best Ökoplus truly lives up to its name. It is absolutely absorbent, easy to handle, and nothing sticks—neither to the floor nor to the litter scoop.
My two cats, thankfully not too picky, accepted the product straight away.
I’m absolutely thrilled! It smells pleasant, and my home stays clean—the few crumbs that do occur can be swept up effortlessly.
Before, I felt like I was walking along a beach. An absolutely top-notch product! The price-performance ratio is spot on, and it’s also environmentally friendly.

THE DISINTEGRATION OF THE CLUMP ;-(((
The last delivery (2x 40l bags) was absolutely terrible in terms of quality. The clumps crumble at the slightest touch with the shovel. Such a shame – it really used to be top-notch. Emphasis on "used to be".

Good
We think this cat litter is great. It smells waaaay less than other clumping litters, which we like—and our two little sweethearts obviously do too. It doesn’t clump quite as well as others, but it still absorbs all the urine, and you can dispose of it nicely without anything being left behind in the litter box.
We’re definitely sticking with this litter!

Big disappointment
I was tempted by the many positive reviews and luckily decided to go for the small bag first. The moisture absorption is quite alright, and the lightweight nature is definitely a plus compared to regular litter, but... I've been using this litter for exactly one week, and already it’s spreading a very unpleasant, sweet smell throughout the entire house. The litter doesn’t clump at all but instead manages to spread even better across all rooms, as it gets stuck between the cats’ toes. Ultimately, the consumption compared to regular clumping litter is about three times higher.

Super cat litter!!
I've been using this cat litter for a year now, and I have to say, I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Firstly, disposing of it in the toilet is brilliant—you don't always end up with a full bin straight away. Secondly, the odour control is excellent, and thirdly, the litter clumps really well! I don't know what problem other people have with it. The only downside is that the litter seems to stick easily to the paws of the little tigers, so it gets spread around the whole flat. I'm definitely sticking with it!
