It has changed and is now no good!

Have used this litter for years and convinced others to use it. The last couple of bags have been hugely dusty, making me cough when I am scooping it. So must be terrible for my cat. Slowly switching to another brand. He is quite easily unsettled by change so a slow process. I wish they would sort the issue out as this was literally the best litter ever

Works well, low odour. Clumps well.

Amazing litter for blocking smell but it does takes a while to set

Great litter but as explained it does take a short while for the litter to set and dry once they’ve urinated in it, otherwise it’s good a great pine woody smell which covers the smell. Ps get this and some food which has yucca schidigera since that’s helps reduce lower smells!

Always buy this brand

Have tried various types of litter. Don't like Fuller's Earth. That is really smelly. This keeps the odour down and it is also clump forming which makes it easier to clean the tray.

quality is gone

It was the best cat litter until, just recently, the quality of it dropped dramatically and Cat's Best became Cat's Worst litter. I am so disappointed - formula is completely different, the new one has bigger chunks, doesn't clump as it used to, it's tracking and the main thing it stinks horribly! I have to give up buying it and that's a shame Cat's Best loosing customers out of their greed and stupid decisions.

Not Good on its own - Won't buy again 👎

I used to mix this with a light clay based litter and it worked well. But on its own, not so much. The cats track this everywhere, there's no odour control and if you miss a day by accident, this litter will turn to a soggy mess and smell is awful 😞

Best litter out there

Tried a few and this is easily my favourite. It clumps really well and reduces odours noticeably. I buy the 40kg bag which lasts at least 9 months with my one cat.

Bengal kitten approval 🐾😻

This litter is great, I wanted a product that was eco friendly, and one that clumps, and one that wouldn'tbeak the bank. This litter does it all, soft on my kittens toe beans, eco friendly, clumps, and doesn't leave any odour. I scoop every day, and do a full clean once a month in both my kittens litter boxes, as he does his number 2s outside when I walk him. 5 stars from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a mistake

Tried trasioning from clay, rescue cat was used to wood at the sanctuary unfortunately by the time the tray was complete wood she refused to use it and decided the carpets were a better proposition the wood pellets are far too sharp, went back to clay and she resumed using the trays

Worst litter ever

The pieces are massive, this litter does not clump at all and amplifies the smell of the cat poop, it is really bad

Good litter, pack unsure

I do not recall the exact bag size, but it was easy to clean and worked for both cats with minimal dust.

Easy clumps

This 20 litre bag lasted our two cats for weeks and clumps quickly with less tracking.
Mega Pack 40l (approx. 17.2kg)

Great low-dust litter

I tried the larger bag in our home and it clumps well, is easy to scoop, and lasts a long time. My cat took to it immediately and there is little tracking.

Small pack was dusty

The smaller bag did not work well for our litter tray; it scattered and created more dust than expected.

Reliable litter

Very absorbent and light, our rescue cats accepted it straight away and cleaning is simple.
Mega Pack 40l (approx. 17.2kg)

Absorbent but smelly

Very absorbent, clumps very well, doesn’t track much but it does not absorb odours well at all especially urine so I probably won’t be buying it again

Excellent Product

This is an excellent litter. Low dust, lightweight, clumps and cleans very well. My cats seem much happier with this than with clay type litter. Lasts a long time too, so quite economical

Effective, but messy!

I have bought one 40L pack of this cat litter. It has lasted 2 and a half months for two indoor cats. The litter box gets refilled everyday 10 days. However, I have to hoover and sweep every day as a result! The tracking is really bad. The litter gets caught in their paws, and it spreads throughout the house. But in exchange for this, I am no longer having to buy cat litter every week. The clumping is 10/10. This helps the cat litter to last so long. I am going to buy another bag!

Best litter so far

I’ve been trying different litters , clumping , non-clumping and this one seems best so far . Occasionally sticks to cats paws for a while as we do find it on the sofas etc .

Great but not the “original”

I have used this ever since I first got a cat, as has my daughter for her cats. Very little smell & clumps reasonably well. However we agree that it not the same as before. We could flush it down the toilet safely but now it doesn’t flush away but sits in the bowl. We are having to dispose of wet clumps in poo bags & put in the bin which defeats the object. It is still my preferred litter but I’m a little disappointed by the change.

It's not the same anymore

I’ve seen that other people have had the same experience as me. I bought it for two years, it was really excellent. For months now, it’s not the same anymore. It DOESN’T CLUMP anymore. As for the smell, unfortunately I’ll have to try again because I bought a similar one, but the bad odour isn’t neutralised.

Very good litter

Very practical and pleasant natural litter for the cat, she doesn’t scatter it everywhere.

Lately, it gives off dust

I've always used this litter and been really happy with it, but lately it's been giving off loads of dust. Even when I scoop it, I end up coughing from all the dust—imagine what it's like for the cats. I'm thinking about switching to a different one.

Brilliant

I've been using this litter for a few months now and honestly I don't regret it at all, it's really great. Plus, with a big bag I can fill five litter trays and still have some left over, so it's really good when you have several cats.

Dusty

The sand is very dusty, which is a shame because it goes a long way and clumps well.

Almost dust-free but clumping is mediocre

I previously used cat litter from Lidl and wanted a low-dust option. I'm very happy with this cat litter because it's quite low in dust and absorbs odours well. However, I'm unsure about the quality of its clumping. It does form clumps, but the pee clumps break apart when I try to clean the litter box. The pee stays fairly wet, which is annoying because it leaves small bits of litter behind that already contain pee. As a result, the litter needs to be replaced more often.

It's not the same product anymore.

We’ve been using this cat litter for years. Now it doesn’t clump like it should anymore and the litter smells worse.

Good

Pros: eco-friendly, easy to remove Cons: smells damp and like sawdust if not changed right away

The best

Our favourite: it lasts a long time, doesn’t leave dust everywhere (like the stone one), clumps well... Negatives: it sticks quite a bit—leaves marks and it’s a bit pricey.

Very dissatisfied, used to be better, doesn't clump properly.

The first ones we bought directly at Fressnapf were of higher quality.

Very good cat litter

Great cat litter, the cats are happy, it clumps nicely and smells like wood. The pieces used to be a bit bigger, so now they spread it around the flat more, but it's still good and much better than the original bentonite one.

Excellent!

I've been using this litter since 2011 and it allows me to avoid bad smells in the house because I can flush it down the toilet. It's odourless so it doesn't bother me, and it doesn't contain any toxic substances for my pets. Finally, it's clumping and absorbent.

Not recommended for cats with respiratory issues

It covers smells really well; Makes firm clumps, easy to remove from the litter; It's gentle on the paws, soft, my tomcat liked digging in it. The biggest downside, and the reason I'll stop using it, is that it leaves a lot of dust. My cat has respiratory issues, which came back shortly after I started using this litter. The dust bothered me too, so I had to wear a mask when cleaning/changing it; Another downside is that it spreads easily all over the house.

Clumping litter???

I bought this litter because it was supposed to be very low in dust. But that's really the only advantage! As for CLUMPING litter...???? Every clump falls apart as soon as you lift it out of the tray, or even just shake it a bit on the scoop to let the clean litter fall back into the tray. So better not to shake it and just throw everything in the bin. What a waste! Even my three cats prefer to use the other tray, which still has the "old" type in it. Never again!!!!!

Decline in quality

Less clumping and more dusty, it gets everywhere in the flat, but always has a pleasant smell. The quality has gone down over time (especially with the larger packs of litter).
