We have 4 cats all with different tastes but all really enjoy this food. It’s cost-effective and packaging is environmentally friendly, and we’ve never had issues (other than slight fat separating in some cans, but that just goes to our slimmest lad!). Group favourites are chicken with fish/duck, and 99/100 bowls are licked clean!

I've been buying Smilla for over 4 years now, and so far my tomcat really enjoys every variety! He gets both the wet and dry food and can hardly contain himself when the tin or pouch is opened :) The food always smells quite good too!

Affordable for good quality food. My cats really like the taste.

Great for trying out. Both of mine like poultry and lamb. I'll now order those individually. None of the cats ate the beef, even though they usually like beef. I left out the fish beforehand for animal welfare reasons. They only like fish pure from Sheba. Great price, and the food looks good even though it comes from a tin.

My two kitties are thrilled. The food looks really tasty when it comes out of the tin. The ingredients are fine. The price is unbeatable. Both tolerate it well.

Our two sweet paws absolutely love it. All flavours are eaten with pleasure. The consistency is often similar to pâté, and it can easily be mashed with a fork, which is great as we have a toothless cat. We also think the taurine content of 1000 is fantastic. No diarrhoea issues, it’s well tolerated. Absolutely recommend this grain-free, sugar-free food at a low price!

Our older (fussy) cat just loves this. It's a pate-style cat food which I think she prefers and because it's not full of jelly/gravy, you get a whole can full. We've tried the fish & poultry flavour and I'll definitely be ordering more. It's so tasty that I don't think it's a problem that all six cans are the same flavour, I was a bit worried we'd have to mix it up. Will be sure to try more flavours in future.

Since they don't contain beef, I think they're brilliant, and my three indoor cats absolutely love them—except for the pure fish varieties and lamb, which only get nibbled on briefly.

Goes down well, especially the varieties with fish. Grain-free and sugar-free, and the price is right.

My two cats love it. Since they always need variety, I tried the Smilla trial pack, and they went absolutely crazy for it. I always add a few drops of warm water or a fresh egg yolk (for a shiny coat) to make it less dry. I can only recommend this food if you have cats that need a change in the texture of their food. Price/performance ratio is 100% spot on! :-)

My cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and I set out to change her diet to get her on the right track. Most widely-available supermarket foods are pretty rubbish with sketchy labelling and have grains/sugars/whatever else -- just not suitable for a diabetic. I was happy to find Smilla has a high declared meat content without grains, sugars, or other fillers, and at a great price. I add a little water, and the cat gobbles it up without any GI issues or sugar spikes. Her new go-to food!

My three tomcats absolutely love this as a change every few weeks, and it smells exactly as it should—like pure tuna ;). I mix it with a bit of water, just like I do with all wet food, so it’s not dry.

I only feed high-quality food, but for a bit of variety, I occasionally give Smilla poultry pots as a good mid-range option. My two absolutely wolf it down :)

The variety "Geflügeltöpfchen mit Fisch" is a big hit with my three ladies, and I’m impressed by the 20% fish content in the tin, as that plays a significant role in taste for the cats. One of the few types of wet food that is readily accepted and happily eaten! Visually and in terms of smell, there’s nothing to criticise about the food, and the price is also very good and reasonable! At this price, you can’t expect a more detailed declaration, but I still find the feeding recommendation quite good, as well as the fact that this food is free from sugar and grains! The protein and fat values are also very good, better than many standard foods from discount stores, and most importantly, the cats enjoy eating it! Great food at a good price!

PS.: And the high taurine content of 1000 mg per kg is really excellent, as this is often skimped on due to its cost. Taurine is vital for cats, for example, for their nerves, heart, eyes, liver, fat metabolism, etc. A cat's daily taurine requirement is approximately 250 mg to 500 mg.

Although it's now summertime and our "little" rascal doesn't have much of an appetite, we still get the impression that he loves his food from Smilla, especially the poultry pots and the 400g fish pots. Without fail, after every single meal, he gets his five minutes of madness and races around the flat like Kitty Schumacher. =) Another lovely thing is the compliments we get from visitors about how incredibly soft our cat is, which I definitely attribute to his diet! I hope Smilla keeps up the good work as always. =)

My two moggies really like the Tuna (only) version of this food. The food itself looks just like human grade tuna but is darker in colour. I feed them this every couple of days as a change to their other wet foods that are chicken based.

So far, I’ve been buying other types/brands of food from the supermarket, etc. Today, my package arrived, and I immediately filled the bowl for the cats—and as quickly as it was full, it was empty again ;) Even my dog, who’s very picky, was standing by the bowl, and that really says something! I’m very satisfied!
