Wouldn't eat
I have a cat who has kidney disease, due to vet overdosing. She won't eat renal food and I think the smell puts her off. Thought this one, as lower in the things she needs in her food would be a good try as she likes jelly based/ Sadly, no, not this either. It's a bit of a try buying Royal C, they never say what the actual flav of the food is, so if your cat dislikes fish flav, or beef for example, there's every chance RC food is those flavours. It's really annoying as it's expensive mistakes.

My cat won't eat it.
My 17-year-old Chartreux cat won’t eat it; she prefers Felix Doubly Delicious Jelly from the pouch.

Sugar
I thought I had finally found THE food for my senior cat, especially since the selection and variety overall aren't very extensive. Then, to my shock, I read that the ingredients contain SUGAR. Older cats are often prone to diabetes, as is mine. For years, we've been careful to choose food without any sugar content, but I hadn't expected it in the senior versions. Such a shame – now the search continues for varied cat food for older cats...

Product description is misleading
Although this food claims to come with sauce, you’ll be searching for it in vain. It’s wetter than regular wet food, but there’s no sauce to be found. Such a shame. R.Z.
