Can we please have more individual flavours?
My cat loves this product. But they are allergic to poultry, so anything chicken and poultry would not be used. Money are wasted
Can we have more individual flavours instead of having to buy a whole pack and never use the poultry sachets?

Chicken & Pheasant
A good mix of muscle meat and offal. The pheasant gives a slightly-less smooth and darker pâté style than the Poultry. Again great to be able to offer meal variety with such good food for reasonable value given the quality.

Poultry
So good to have such a variety of meat ingredients. Made into a smooth pâté style with a little jelly/gravy. Looks good to owners and and cats as it seems very easy to eat. Muscle meat with offal so nearer to nature. Good value considering quality of ingredients compared to others.

Took a bit of time...
... but now the kitties are eating this food. The kitten varieties were a big hit, they won't touch the 200g tins at all, but these 85g pouches are becoming increasingly popular.

Lamb & rabbit =^..^=
First time trying this in pouches. My cat already loves lamb & rabbit in cans. A complete food made with good ingredients, with a lot of moisture added. It is excellent for the cat's food allergies. I just wish they would bring back the 'Purrrr' selection of flavours too!

Best food, but only NO3
My 20-year-old tomcat loves poultry; he tolerates it best and doesn’t like the other varieties. I’ve already tried the 200g tins, but they’re too dry for him. First, he had giardia, then a tooth infection, and had to take antibiotics for two weeks, which unfortunately caused diarrhoea. He’s eating this food like crazy, and at least it’s helping him put on a bit of weight. It’s expensive, unfortunately, but you’ll do anything for them, won’t you? I just hope the diarrhoea goes away again.

Favourite food
My 20-year-old tomcat's favourite food, and he certainly doesn’t eat just anything all the time. He’s very picky and doesn’t digest food well, but he loves this food. Excellent value for money; lots of meat, good texture, and a very pleasant smell that doesn’t seem artificial. Some varieties contain cranberries, which are good for bladder and kidney function. These varieties are a bit firmer, so we have to chew more – thankfully, thanks to years of good dry food, we’re still able to do that.

High quality foods make for healthier cats
Excellent ingredients with elements that are good for cats like lean meat, heart, stomach, liver, etc.. Feeding high quality foods will make a cat healthier and give great looking fur, skin and eyes.

Addendum to my review from 06/03.
After contacting Petsnature, whose own brand is Catz Finefood, I received a plausible explanation as to why fluctuations can occur with high-quality food (e.g. when processing strongly scented organs like liver/kidney). Occasional refusal to eat is therefore not a quality issue but may be due to a slightly different smell/taste. Got some great tips, excellent service, friendly contact. Thumbs up, thank you!

That tastes...
I really like the composition of the food. However, our furry friends only enjoy three varieties: Herring & Crab, Salmon & Poultry, and Poultry. The other flavours are left untouched. But it’s not such a big deal, as luckily you can order the varieties individually, and at least they happily gobble up those three... along with their beloved Acana Wild P., and everything is perfect! :-)

A Happy Cat(z) Tummy at last
Despite vet reports there appears to be no apparent reason for it, my 10 year old rescue cat has never been able to tolerate most wet food and although she eats and enjoys it, usually regurgitates it within minutes of swallowing. As a result she has been fed on dry food but not any more, I tried her with Catz herring and crab which she really loves and retains. Initially I am giving her just half a pouch twice a day which she tops up with hairball biscuits as she suffers quite badly from these. I will try her with one or two other flavours to provide her with variety although she does seem to prefer fish or chicken. This appears good quality cat food which also smells delicious.

very popular
The food is well received by our cats. The consistency is fine too, and it doesn’t smell unpleasant.

Alternative for cats with kidney disease
Out of desperation, since my little one refused to eat any of the kidney diets, I started reading up on the nutritional values of regular food options. Eventually, I landed on this food, and my darling eats it with great enthusiasm. She doesn’t like the herring and veal varieties, but she doesn’t have to like everything.
After three months, we had her blood values tested, and lo and behold, everything was within the normal range. She also gets her medication and phosphate binder mixed into her food. In addition, she gets Integra Kidney dry food and Cosma snackies as treats.
She’s gained a bit of weight (which is great given her underweight condition) and has been an active, happy cat ever since we started feeding her catz. She’s nothing like the zombie cat she was when she was on kidney diet wet food.
Switching her to catz from the tin has been a bit tricky for our darling, as the food from the tin has a different, fluffier texture compared to the pouch, and she doesn’t seem to like it as much.

Immediately accepted
Ordered 6 pouches of herring and prawns for the first time, as my cat loves fish. However, she’s extremely fussy and usually rejects any new food. But when I came out of the kitchen today with a small portion of 35g to try, she immediately perked up and licked it all up thoroughly. If this continues, I’ll gladly order it again or even switch completely to this food.

Great quality cat food
One of my cats loves these, all flavours except the herring (for some reason), but my other cat will only eat the salmon one. That said, neither of them showed an interest at first. I had to persist and not give them nothing else; it worked eventually! I think the texture initially put them off - it is a kind of pate texture rather than shredded meat. I feel much happier giving them this than the other 4% 'meat' rubbish - at least they are getting a species appropriate diet, and they seem to be thriving on it (with some dry food & applaws pots too). Both have glossy hair and eyes.
