Product description

Species appropriate wet cat food, it is grain-free*, rich in vitamins and very tasty. Catz finefood is carefully prepared with human grade meat, sustainable seafood and without artificial additives.
Your cat's well-being and good health depends on the food it eats. Catz finefood is a natural, species appropriate and balanced cat food. Each recipe is inspired by nature and is made with all the essential nutrients and proteins that a cat would normally get from the food it would eat in the wild. Almost every variety of catz finefood is grain-free*, since cats find grain difficult to digest and to process.

Only the very best fish from sustainable fisheries and meat from trusted German farms are used in the catz finefood recipes. The premium quality, fresh ingredients are thoroughly checked, as well as tested by vets, before they are cold filled. This ensures the highest level of reliability and quality. The food is gently steam cooked to ensure that most of the essential nutrients and fatty acids are retained. Catz finefood is only made in Germany.

This tasty, gourmet wet cat food is very well accepted and easy to digest. It is suitable for cats which suffer from food sensitivities or allergies.

AI generated summary based on reviews added by customers

Customers appreciate the variety and quality of the ingredients, noting that it provides good value for money. However, there are concerns about the inclusion of poultry in mixed packs, as some cats are allergic or simply don't prefer it. Additionally, the consistency and smell can vary between batches, which may affect picky eaters. Overall, many cats seem to enjoy the product, especially the smaller pouches, and it helps with weight gain and digestion.

Can we please have more individual flavours?

My cat loves this product. But they are allergic to poultry, so anything chicken and poultry would not be used. Money are wasted Can we have more individual flavours instead of having to buy a whole pack and never use the poultry sachets?

Always something different

Refers to Chicken & Tuna. Each batch seems to smell different, which the picky tomcat doesn’t really tolerate.

Cat won't touch it

Changed to this as I discovered Wild Freedom does not have the recommended daily intake of taurine. I wouldn't call my cat a fussy eater but she won't touch this. The product looks good so not sure if it's the flavour but not going down well.

Chicken & Pheasant

A good mix of muscle meat and offal. The pheasant gives a slightly-less smooth and darker pâté style than the Poultry. Again great to be able to offer meal variety with such good food for reasonable value given the quality.

Poultry

So good to have such a variety of meat ingredients. Made into a smooth pâté style with a little jelly/gravy. Looks good to owners and and cats as it seems very easy to eat. Muscle meat with offal so nearer to nature. Good value considering quality of ingredients compared to others.

Took a bit of time...

... but now the kitties are eating this food. The kitten varieties were a big hit, they won't touch the 200g tins at all, but these 85g pouches are becoming increasingly popular.

Lamb & rabbit =^..^=

First time trying this in pouches. My cat already loves lamb & rabbit in cans. A complete food made with good ingredients, with a lot of moisture added. It is excellent for the cat's food allergies. I just wish they would bring back the 'Purrrr' selection of flavours too!

Best food, but only NO3

My 20-year-old tomcat loves poultry; he tolerates it best and doesn’t like the other varieties. I’ve already tried the 200g tins, but they’re too dry for him. First, he had giardia, then a tooth infection, and had to take antibiotics for two weeks, which unfortunately caused diarrhoea. He’s eating this food like crazy, and at least it’s helping him put on a bit of weight. It’s expensive, unfortunately, but you’ll do anything for them, won’t you? I just hope the diarrhoea goes away again.

catz finefood - Beef and Duck

You can definitely go overboard – when you open the little bag, a strong smell of rosemary herbs wafts out. What cat would eat such heavily seasoned food? I have four cats to feed, none of them spoiled, but not a single one likes it!!!

Mud

This variety was always gladly eaten. Unfortunately, the food from the last delivery is just mush, and my cat won't touch it anymore.

Favourite food

My 20-year-old tomcat's favourite food, and he certainly doesn’t eat just anything all the time. He’s very picky and doesn’t digest food well, but he loves this food. Excellent value for money; lots of meat, good texture, and a very pleasant smell that doesn’t seem artificial. Some varieties contain cranberries, which are good for bladder and kidney function. These varieties are a bit firmer, so we have to chew more – thankfully, thanks to years of good dry food, we’re still able to do that.

High quality foods make for healthier cats

Excellent ingredients with elements that are good for cats like lean meat, heart, stomach, liver, etc.. Feeding high quality foods will make a cat healthier and give great looking fur, skin and eyes.

Not as good as it was at the beginning

I can only agree, my cat has been eating this food for a year now, and this is already the third variety she refuses to eat. It’s going to animal welfare now. Unfortunately, I’ll have to look for something new.

The quality has deteriorated significantly.

I’ve been buying this food for years. At first, the cat loved the herring and shrimp variety. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been available for a couple of years now. Since then, I’ve been buying lamb and rabbit, and lamb and horse. At first, the tomcat enjoyed eating it. Now, unfortunately, it’s gotten worse. With every order, the consistency is different. The quality has deteriorated. There are lots of fat lumps in the pack. I hope this changes, as the composition is very good.

Is happily devoured

The varieties with poultry or fish are gladly eaten. I find the pouches practical. A bit pricey, unfortunately, but it's also a higher-quality product.

High meat content – the cats like it

We've been feeding catz finefood for about 2 years now (alternating with other types of food) because we're convinced by the ingredients. Our cats have liked all the varieties offered so far. Chicken, beef, and salmon are especially popular. We'll continue to feed it in the future. One star deducted for the higher price.

CFF No. 5 Pouch

My cats always complain when the food is watery. I've had to throw away quite a lot. Such a shame, maybe it's because of the heat we had. No idea.

No longer accepted over time

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous review. With every order, it seems to be less well-received; the wild variety is practically vomit-inducing. Not for us.
