Product description

Practical folding dog ramp for helping your pet effortlessly in and out of the car, to protect bones and joints. It is flexible and universal, made from wood and ensuring stable and robust access.
Please note: This product might take a little longer to arrive as it may be shipped from outside the UK.

Old, weak, young, ill or small dogs can sometimes find it difficult to get into cars, and might need some access help. This handy ramp makes it easy for your dog to climb in. It protects your dog's joints from strain, which is especially important for dogs with existing hip or spine problems, and for dogs who cannot jump due to arthritis. The ramp is also helpful for younger large dogs, as it can protect their joints during the crucial growing phase, preventing problems later in life. Small dogs can also benefit from using this ramp, when their little legs are just not long enough to climb into the car or up the stairs.

This flexible and universally compatible dog ramp is by no means limited to the car - it can be used to make stairs easier for your dog,or to help it climb into its bed. The durable and high-quality manufacturing of the Backstage Dog Ramp allows for indoor and outdoor use. The ramp also features small steps which prevent slipping and give your dog a firm grip. It can be easily folded up for easy transport, and is equipped with two handles for comfortable carrying.

Only suitable for vehicle doors with 180 degree opeing

Could not fit from my Nissan Qashqi rear doors as too wide. Only usable as a boot ramp or for vehicle doors with 180 degree opeing

Wooden ramp

Not just suitable for dogs. Our cat loves it. This way, he can easily get onto the high bed.

Dog ramp

My older dog CONNY (15 years old) and I are very happy with the ramp. She accepted it straight away. It’s a great relief for her, as it protects her joints, especially since she had a cruciate ligament tear in her right hind leg. Fast delivery – even though it was initially out of stock, it arrived quickly in the end.

Super Ramp

I use the ramp for my rabbits. This way, they can hop down from their elevated enclosure into the flat and back again. I’ve made the ramp more slip-resistant by adding carpet to it. Otherwise, there wouldn’t have been perfect grip. Still, great value for money!

Can't imagine a better ramp.

It’s sturdy yet lightweight and handy – easy to store, either behind the seats in the footwell or, when the dogs are outside, in the boot. My dogs weigh 25 + 35 kg. Great product – highly recommended!!!

Sturdy for our lab x sheepdog

Bought this for our 30kg dog when she could no longer jump into our Galaxy car. It was sturdy and didn’t wobble or bounce like others we tried. It took up space in the boot but was a necessity as the dog wanted to go with us. It’s not too heavy and easy to use.

Broke on day one

I have a small Dane and the ramp lasted a couple of trial runs and then snapped.

This little ramp is amassing for the price, we have a Border Collie, yes it is a bit heavy but the size and fact it folds makes up for this, would recommend this little wooden ramp to everyone, it's cheap and does the job of all those expensive versions.

Does the job

BUT VERY HEAVY TO LIFT IN/OUT THE CAR (almost as heavy as the dog!)

The ramp is okay.

We’ve been using the ramp almost daily for about 5 years now. Our dog (now 17.5 years old, 16 kg) manages well with it. For a wooden ramp, it’s not too heavy either. The only downside: the anti-slip strips don’t provide enough grip. They could be more effective.

Good product

Good product. Easy to carry. The only thing I found was that my dog slipped a bit so I glued some carpet onto it and now it is great 👍

simple but effective

I like straight forward products with less to go wrong on them.My dog likes to follow me everywhere. with this ramp both of us are satisfied. He gets to wobble his elderly legs into my car and I can fold the ramp up and slot it behind my seat for our arrival.Took him a few goes to master this but its helped us both and inexpensively, with a good build quality.

Dog ramp

The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. I have two large dogs who can now, for the sake of protecting their joints, comfortably get in and, most importantly, out of the vehicle.

Really helpful

Bought this ramp for my senior greyhound with back issues. She has taken to it really well and now gets in the back of the car with ease. We also are making our younger greyhound get used to it, just in case he needs it in later life. Very easy to use.

The ramp is permanently used at the outdoor entrance.

We've been using this ramp for over a year now so that our senior Labradors can get from the garden into the house. We reinforced the sides with wooden slats and permanently attached the ramp to the railing. The ramp shows signs of wear, but considering a 30kg Labrador gallops over it several times a day, that's completely fine. Our nearly 15-year-old Ronja can no longer manage stairs, but she uses this ramp to get inside—and she's very proud of herself afterwards. The price is fantastic.

Shattered

At first, I was super happy with this ramp, which seemed really sturdy. I used it for the car. My four dogs (4, 17, 24, 38 kilos) used it almost daily. Unfortunately, after less than two months of use, it has split in the middle at the hinge and is now unusable. The ramp is completely sagging and on the verge of breaking apart... It's a real shame, especially since my dogs used the ramp very calmly and walked up and down one at a time.

Amazingly Well Made Ramp

I must admit that when I ordered this I was a little sceptical because the price was so much lower than the others - but it is totally fabulous. I have a fourteen year old rescue labrador who weighs 35 kilos and whos legs have seen better days but he took to this like a duck to water. No slippage on the car, folds in half and has a little clip to keep it fastened and two handles to carry it. The dog was perfectly safe, it wasn't to narrow and it was as steady as a rock. Very, very pleased.

Unfortunately, broke quickly.

I ordered the ramp for our young dog to help him get down the steps into the garden. Unfortunately, the ramp broke in the middle after just a few weeks of "enthusiastic" use (approx. 20 kg dog), so we initially placed a large flower pot underneath it. However, it kept slipping, and in the end, we had to dispose of it due to massive, protruding wood splinters. Such a shame.
