The Pug is not particularly athletic, but still full of zest for life and zest for action. He is adaptable and feels just as comfortable in a family with children as with a single person. He is particularly social and therefore enjoys being with other four-legged friends. Since the Pug is prone to overweight and sensitive skin, special attention should be paid to a light diet and proper skin and coat care - especially between the facial folds. Due to brachycephaly, it is more difficult for him to pick up food, which is why adapted kibbles are advantageous.
