Good food but the nuggets are very small.
I have two 12 year old cats, one who is diabetic. They both like the food but they really struggle to pick it up because it's so small. If I soak it for a while it swells and then they'll happily eat it, but that's not really the point of having "dry" food

cats did not like
we were prescribed this by a specialist vet for our diabetic cat when diagnosed. Prior to diagnosis he only ate Hills R/D dry food. Our kitty did not like this M/D at all and refused to eat it. our cat was overweight and had other health issues and our own vet pointed out that it has a higher calorie count than W/D so we tried that instead.
Hills prescription foods are quality products but am only giving 3 stars as cats just did not take to this at all or the wet food version of this

Excellent product
Have been feeding m/d to my cat for years and would not change her diet. I know this is the best product for her diabetes. Very good and quick service from Zooplus and will definitely purchase again.

We began feeding this when our cat became diabetic through being very overweight. She lost weight quickly and even though an old lady she seems more spry. The vet said her blood sugar was down and we're going the right way. Puss likes the kibble food but not the tins so much. Our other cat will happily eat the kibble too.

Hill's Prescription Diet - Feline M/D
I have used this product on my cat for 3 years now. Prior to further medical issues, I was able to control her diabetes purely with this food. It enabled her to reduce weight and regulated her glucose. It is a versatile product - the kibble can be soaked in hot water which is very useful if the addition of medication to food is required. While this does not have a particularly pleasant aroma for us humans, it certainly whets a cat's appetite! Although not available in a choice of flavours, my cat has never tired of it! Great product!
