AI generated summary based on reviews added by customers

Feringa and Applaws kitten food are generally well-received, with kittens enjoying the flavors and benefiting from a good price-performance ratio. However, some reviews mention issues like diarrhoea and strong odors. The texture can be off-putting for some kittens, and there are concerns about the packaging of tins. Despite this, many kittens seem to love the food, especially when mixed with other textures, and the brand is appreciated for its quality ingredients.

Kittens love the flavors.
Good price-performance ratio.
Issues with diarrhoea.

Menu Mix Kitten

Absolutely convinced, my two girls love eating it, especially in combination with Applaws kitten dry food. They get everything they need for healthy development without needing any additional vitamins or taurine. We're sticking with Feringa and Applaws. The price-performance ratio is excellent.

Kitten loves it

My 5 month old kitten loves this food and all the flavours. The rotation is good and she enjoys her meal times more now. However it would be better if the variety pack included all 4 flavours instead of just the 3

Improperly canned?

Our 2 kittens loved the first tin we served, but we then noticed 4 of the remaining tins had a lid that bounced up and down when pushed, and so were not pressurised. Checked against other tinned food in the house and no others behaved that way, so threw the rest out as not worth risking food poisoning. A shame. It looks like a lovely brand.

Chicken and veal

The kittens ate some of this food, but then refused to touch it. They had loose bowel motions. They left all the large lumpy bits which I presume was the carrot content. Sadly, I bought 12 tins of this thinking it would be as good as the Rabbit and chicken. Now I cannot get the rabbit and Chicken because it is out of stock.

Chicken and Rabbit

My kittens loved the Rabbit and chicken variety of this food. The ate all of it and licked the slow feed mat until there was absolutely nothing left.

Great quality

Kittens not keen on paté texture in general but when I mix it with a chunks in jelly type and top it with a few crunchy biscuits, it goes down a treat. Getting on well with all the flavours. They do get bored after a couple days on the same food, so I rotate between this and a shred textured brand, to keep them interested. Smell is a personal taste thing but personally I'm quite jealous of the kittens' dinner. Smells great to me.

The composition is fine.

However, the food (turkey) is not eaten. It has a very strong smell and is quite "mushy".

Unpleasant smell

My kittens enjoyed eating the food, but it smells really bad. The entire flat reeks of it, even when properly sealed. This isn’t the case with Mjamjam, for example.

Kitten doesn’t like it

Zoé picks at it but doesn’t eat it. I spent over £30.worth of cat food from this and another brand but she has not eaten it .I put it out in the garden for the birds. The smell is off putting but I wanted to love it because of the quality meat🥲

Lovely good quality food

My kitten is not keen on wet food except this one. Bennett does eat kitten feringa wet food every morning for breakfast. High quality meat content and does not smell as bad as others! A winner.

Well received

Our little ones love it, but we find it a shame that there aren’t any 400g tins available. With multiple cats, you’d save a lot of money – hence the deduction of 1 star.

Terrible smell despite quality ingredients

I want to love this as ingredients appear high quality but the smell is terribly strong which doesn’t work when you have an open plan flat. Cat also doesn’t eat it if it’s been out for some time
