Not a full 200g.
My main negative with the 200g tins is that they are not actually a full 200g. I buy 3-4 different brands of cat food in 200g tins and and with all the other brands I can always measure out 4 x 50g meals, sometimes with a surplus.
However each time i have opened the Ferringa I can't. Most of the time up to 5g is missing. Its happened consistently.
If you do the maths the price should be 18.52 for 6 not 19 euros. Just saying

Disappointed
Looks like the recipe has been changed yet again.
The one remaining variety that he ate, he now refuses.
Will Not buy anymore

Fan favourite at our house
I'd never heard of Feringa before finding them on Zooplus and all of their products (various wet foods, their treats and a couple of varieties of dry food) have become fast favourites in our two-cat home.
In fact, Feringa's products, including this one, is one of those staple ones we know we can always fall back on because the cats never turn their nose up at it.
The new packaging is unfortunate, but otherwise this brand and this product are a 10/10 in our house.

Cat throwing up
I was wondering why my cat was throwing up recently, it could be other things but clearly this food could also be the cause. Why would you put cress and or/ dandelions in a cat food you feed on a regular basis. Cress being poisonous and dandelions "should not be a regular part of the cats diet" as far as I have read. There must be a reason but I would recommend the manufacturer rethink their recipe?
Not happy as this supplier, shame as the cats seem to like the food?

Only thing my picky cat will have
I’ve been feeding this for months now, my cats go crazy for it

Cat enjoys, but depends on the flavour!
I bought the multipack so my cat Beefy could try the different flavours. He seems to enjoy the Rabbit and Turkey and the Duck and Veal best. He is not too keen on the Poultry one, I don't know why, or fishy ones. The food is a course pate type with some jelly and seems quite meaty. Doesn't smell too bad. I like the small tins as we were getting wastage with larger tins and you can recycle them.

Why did they change it?
We ordered this food for our cat for years, without fail. Since they changed the recipe, it seems to make him sick. We had to stop ordering it. It seems as though we're not the only customers they've lost. Why change something that was working so well?

Why did they change it?
We have fed our cat on Feringa literally since he first arrived with us. But since the recipe/consistency was changed (and yes it was, however much Feringa insist it wasn't), it's been making him sick. We won't be ordering it again. Such a shame to have lost a food we thought was good quality and could rely on.

quality
you have to go through this food thoroughly
because of sharp bones that would choke your
cat. we add warm water to make a gravy and
mix meat through it. cat loves it and dish is
always clean. anyone feeding their cat this food
be careful. manufacturer get your act together.

Sharp bone found in product
I was on my third tin of a six pack of 200g and fed my cat as normal with 50g of the food, I was so fortunate that she put aside a 10mm by 5mm piece of razor sharp hard bone which, if she had eaten, might have caused serious damage or even killed her. Zooplus reimbursed me but I would advise caution on usage

It’s changed :((
I used to be very happy with Feringa and my cats loved it. But the labels changed and the contents looked and smelt a similar brown for all the flavours. A great shame as they were so good. The mixed pack was good for me and you could distinguish all the varieties. Why change? It didn’t need it.

Oily
I have been buying this brand for years and I wonder if the recipe has been changed because we have never experienced this before. The food did not go all the way to the perimeter of the tin like usual and the meat was wet and oily. The tin was filled with oil! My cat barely sniffed the food and I did not feel it was safe to give it to her either. I sent a complaint Zooplus via the App weeks ago and have not had a reply.
We had no issues with the rest of the flavours.

Turns green shortly after opening
My car seems quite happy to eat the first plate but it turns a disturbing green colour quickly after opening. The rest of the tin gets wasted. The last time I kept it tightly wrapped up and put that in an airtight tin so she got through a bit more but once the air got to the rest she wouldn't touch it and I didn't blame her. I've had this experience every time with feringa. It's fatty looking too. It hasn't had and ill effects, it just looks awful when it changes colour!

Tried many ways, but my 2 kittens won't look at it
I really hoped my kittens would eat it because i know the dry food are not good, but they are just not interested. i tried to heat up, adding water, mixing with dry etc.. none works.
The problem is the content segregated, you have 3 layers. The gel on top, meat in the middle and fat at bottom. Am i supposed to mix them or what?

Good quality food
my cat loves feringa. prefers pouches because their consistency is wetter than cans and trays
27/09/20
Not tasty apparently- and tin dangerously sharp!,
Cats ( who like all sorts in mideration) don’t like any of these. Very cakey and dense like old fashioned cheap cat food.
Also, the can lids, once opeN , are very sharp it seems - just sliced the back of my finger clean open!🥺😩 ouch.💥

Feringa Classic
Feringa Classic is beating Feringa Pure Meat in the head to head test with our cats. They are both great and will be buying them again.

wow!
I love it! Both of my cats can't get enough of it, even the fussy one who sometimes turns her nose up at organic chicken!
