Terms and conditions for the zoodays zooPoints raffle at zooplus

1. Organizer

The organizer of zoodays zooPoints raffle is zooplus SE, Herzog-Wilhelm-Str. 18,80331 Munich (hereinafter referred to as "zooplus").

2. Eligible participants

All zooplus customers who have a zooplus account and place an order of zooplus Family Brand products worth at least £19 during the promotional period are eligible to participate. Participants must be legally resident in the United Kingdom and at least 18 years old at the time of participation. Zooplus employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. Promotion period

The promotion period begins on June 25, 2025, and ends on June 29, 2025, at 11:59PM. Orders received before or after the promotion period will not be considered.

4. Participation

To participate in the competition, customers must purchase zooplus Family Brand products worth at least €19 in the zooplus.de shop. Each purchase of zooplus Family Brand products over £19 during the promotional period counts as one entry into the competition.

5. Profits

The prizes for the competition are: 

There will be 3 winners every day. (15 winners in total)

Every user will receive 5,000 zooPoints

6. Determination of profit

Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible orders received during the promotion period. The drawing will take place within 14 days of the end of the promotion period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible orders received and whether private label products were purchased.

7. Winner notification

Winners will be notified via email 20 days after the drawing. The zooPoints gained will be automatically uploaded in the “My Account" area of the respective winners

8. Claim to prize

To claim their prize, winners may be required to provide proof of purchase and complete any documentation requested by zooplus. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash or any other prize.

9. Public relations

By participating in the competition, participants grant zooplus the right to use their name, image and entry for advertising purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Taxes and fees

Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, fees, or additional costs associated with acceptance and use of the prize.

11. Early termination, adjustment or modification of the competition

zooplus reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition or any part of it at any time and without prior notice for any reason. zooplus will exercise this right in particular if the proper conduct of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.

12. Disclaimer

Claims for damages against zooplus in connection with the competition are excluded –to the extent permitted by law – regardless of the legal basis, unless zooplus has intentionally or grossly negligently violated statutory obligations. Liability for incorrect information or descriptions of the prizes offered is excluded – to the extent permitted bylaw. The prizes may differ in their presentation from those shown in the promotional materials for this competition. 

zooplus is not liable for technical problems that are beyond zooplus's control and that may affect participation in the competition.

13. Data protection

To the extent that participants' personal data is processed as part of this game, it will be automatically deleted no later than 90 days after the game ends. The participant hereby consents to this.

14. Applicable law

Participation in the competition is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that the protection granted is not withdrawn by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the consumer has his or her habitual residence.

15. Final provisions

Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that most closely reflects the economic meaning and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies to any gaps in these Terms and Conditions of Participation. zooplus reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions of Participation at anytime. Participants will be notified of the amended terms and conditions in an appropriate manner.

By participating in the raffle, participants confirm that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to them.
