Great for Bunnies
I use this for my Rabbits litter trays , it is very good value for the size of bag .. and you only need a little amount . been using this for a few years now and would be hard to find anything equally as good ..

Very good
I don't think the straw pellets are bad. There's no unpleasant smell or anything like that.
They don't create dust and are well tolerated by our rabbits.
However, they're not very economical for a very large cage.
Of course, it also depends on the rabbit.

High consumption and costs
The pellets are well-made and not sharp-edged.
The package is very heavy, and for the quantity and performance it should deliver, it’s not efficient.
It smells very quickly. I have a rabbit, and even though it’s house-trained, it’s really not efficient or sufficient. Value for money is not recommended.

Great for ferret litter boxes
I was looking for a safe absorbent litter suitable for my ferrets but that was less messy than wood pellets and absorbed the smell better than paper pellets. I have 19 ferrets in my care so go through a lot of litter. This bag is great value for money for me and is living up to my expectations so far and I'm only halfway through the bag.

Porta Pellis
Excellent product! Very good absorption. The packaging could be available in a smaller version. This is 25kg - Too heavy for some people.

Exactly what you need for the wee spot
I’ve only been the owner of two dwarf rabbits (outdoor housing) since August, and these pellets were recommended to me.
I think these pellets are absolutely brilliant. I only sprinkle the pellets along the 15cm-wide rear edge of the hutch. The rest is covered with rodent bedding and straw dust.
The two rabbits only pee in the rear section of the hutch where the straw pellets are spread.
Every two days, I just need to clean out the part soaked with pee and collect the droppings, and the hutch is clean.

Simply brilliant
I always use the 'Pellis' for the cages of my little rodents. They are very odour-neutral and absorbent.
(: I'm VERY satisfied :)

Sucks well, smell awful
We're pretty easy-going when it comes to smells. Up until now, we've been using wood pellets as bedding. Then we decided to give straw pellets a try.
The straw pellets absorb really well, but unfortunately, that's the only positive thing about them. We have guinea pigs kept indoors in their own room. After a week, when it's time to clean out, it gets really unpleasant—the smell from the straw pellets is genuinely awful. It was worth a try, but we'll be sticking with the wood pellets.

Wonderful!
I’ve put the pellets in the toilet corner and yippee, finally everything isn’t being pushed around the cage and dug up in that spot anymore :). Also, it doesn’t smell every time the rabbits have been to the toilet, and since the rabbits even lie down on it, it seems to be quite comfortable :).

Super!
I've been using these pellets for several years now, and you can immediately tell when they run out! I always combine them with soft wood shavings because it's more comfortable for my long-eared friends to walk on.

Content top-notch, 60-litre bag too big and heavy
The Porta Pellis straw pellets are, in our opinion, still the best thing you can buy for eternally peeing guinea pigs at the moment. However, the 60-litre bag is a real hassle – far too big, heavy, and therefore impractical. If it were at least two 30-litre bags, then the average person could manage them. But these massive things? How are people who live on the 4th floor without a lift supposed to get them into their flat?

Luxuriously Soft but too powdery
I have a house Rabbit and 2 cats so I take great care when choosing products to use, esp for litter.
I recently thought about changing the litter I use and so got a few different types to test.
This litter is for my rabbits hutch (sometimes used by the cats when the rabbits roaming the house).
When I opened the bag the first thing I noticed was a sweet smell. When I picked up a handful of litter to put in the hutch it felt so soft. I almost wanted to curl up in it. The pellets are also nicely sized so I knew that they wouldn't hurt my baby or cause any issues should he ate them. The problem is the pellets were so soft they would turn to powder very easily. When I got to about halfway down the pack my rabbit actually started to sneeze when he jumped in or dug up the litter (didn't stop him from digging it up and kicking it all out the hutch though, naughty boy!). The deeper I got into the bag the more powder I found I actually weighed the powder in the bag once I finished it and there was a good 700g of it, which is far too much in my opinion. As expected the pellets disintegrated when they got wet but what I didn't expect was the powder at the bottom became a mush and some of it stuck to the bottom of the tray making a very thin 2nd layer. Such a shame as I really like the feel and the smell.
Apart from that the absorbancy was on par with what i normally use (Cats Best Universal) and if they sort out the powder issue then I would seriously consider switching.

Price-performance ratio is good, but it's heavy/awkward to handle.
In my opinion, the price-performance ratio of this product is spot on. However, the package is very heavy and awkward to handle, and it’s often combined with other products I order. A weight of over 30kg is, in my view, quite unreasonable (even if DHL apparently offers it), so I only buy it when I don’t have access to a car.

Excellent for chickens too
I have tried a host of bedding for both my chickens and my Guinea pigs. This stuff is excellent for both.
I reckon 1 dustpan full will fully expand to fill a carrier bag, so you dont need to use too much. It keeps odours down great and smells fresh and clean. Little or no dust and once expanded and will dry out again. My chickens love to dust bath in it !!!
I wont use anything else now.

best litter for bunnies
I have used these straw pellets for years, by far the best litter available. Very absorbent and it's a 100% natural product, no chance of any harm to bunny, no dust, no fumes. I pick up droppings and wet litter twice a day, add new litter as necessary and wash trays once a week. Works perfectly.

Simply brilliant
I am very satisfied, or even more than that. For 2 years, I always used bedding, but it never really convinced me... Now I tried the straw pellets.
It’s simply brilliant – it doesn’t smell, it doesn’t create dust, and it absorbs really well. The pee spots are very easy to clean because the pellets crumble in those areas. I’m thoroughly convinced and will continue using it from now on. Thumbs up :D

Also hamsters
In our opinion, this is the best bedding for guinea pigs. But our female golden hamster also likes the pellets. Every time we clean her cage, she takes a few new ones into her nest and only uses the corner where these pellets are as her toilet.

Simply Brilliant
Fantastic bedding for our two rabbits.
They absolutely love it, rolling around in it and digging it back and forth.
The product is simply amazing. It doesn’t make the flat smell of urine or rabbits in general. Plus, the cage is super easy to clean.
I keep buying it again and again!
