We initially bought chinchilla sand from the pet shop for our hamster lady. It was well received and served its purpose. But this sand is different. We have a large bowl in the playpen and a smaller one in the cage. The smaller one was mostly used as a second toilet. Not anymore. Our hamster lady digs and burrows as if there’s nothing better in the world. I’ll definitely stick with this sand. Great stuff!! Oh, and there were no transport damages whatsoever. Kudos to zooplus and DHL!

I always used "normal" small animal sand for my chinchillas. Now I’ve tried the sand with sepiolite. My chins much prefer bathing in it, and their fur looks much nicer too. Additionally, this sand offers quite good value for money. The bag wasn’t damaged, so there were no losses. I’ll definitely buy this sand again.

I don’t like this sand at all. I only wanted to try it out so she could dig in it, as she always does with the wood shavings. And those make a mess. But unfortunately, it was a complete failure. Besides, this 1kg bag looks more like a half-kilo bag. I won’t be ordering it again.

Hello, Really great sand. Very soft. I'll be using it for my hamster. The only downside – the packaging was slightly damaged, so I had to fish the sand out of the box. But otherwise, brilliant.

I ordered the sand for my chinchillas, and first of all, the delivery was amazing – ordered yesterday, arrived today!!! The packaging is great too. They absolutely love the sand; the little ones jumped straight in and had a thorough bath. Previously, I had the wrong sand (quartz sand) and was already wondering why the chinchillas didn’t look so great and rarely bathed. Now they’ve got lovely fluffy fur again straight away. This sand is highly recommended.

I recently bought the chinchilla sand for my teddy hamster. At first, he was a bit unsure since he’s still very young, but now he absolutely loves the sand. He can hardly wait for a fresh supply to arrive. Sure, afterwards there’s quite a bit of work to do because of his fur, but since he loves this sand so much, I’m more than happy to take the time for my little one.

My chinchillas were absolutely thrilled and rolled around straight away. The only issue was that there was a hole in the packaging, so half of the contents ended up in the box.

Hello there, When it comes to JR bathing sand, I can only say good things as well... My five chinchillas get all excited and impatient when they get fresh sand in their tubs. My old chinchilla male (almost 12 years old) jumps into the tub before it even touches the bottom of the cage!!!!!

Super product, my two chins love this sand and, above all, they look super fluffy again and had better fur straight after their first bath!

We always had a sand that they used now and then. But this one is much better. It's super soft and doesn't create any dust. My gerbils roll around in it all the time and feel absolutely great =)

My friend and I bought this sand for our ferrets so they could dig in it. It doesn’t create dust, and the animals seem to like it quite a lot. They’re used to soil, paper, leaves, and puppy play balls, and now they’ve got sand to dig in too. The more they like and get used to, the better it is for them! 😊 I can only recommend it. But don’t forget to brush the ferrets’ fur clean afterwards, as bits can easily get stuck, especially if they’ve got slightly longer fur (winter coat)!!!!!

Super sand for degus as it doesn’t create dust.

I have a few chinchillas, and especially with my silver-patched one, you can really see that it has amazing fur – and my others do too. I’m definitely going to keep using this now, just brilliant!
