My gerbils absolutely love this sand! It doesn’t create dust and cares for their fur better than any other bathing sand! Since I also have a gerbil with an allergy... I can only say... this sand is perfect even for such "problematic little furries"!

I think this sand is just perfect! Unbeatable in terms of quality and price! None of my 6 chinchillas have any bald spots in their fur! Simply brilliant!

I have to say, I've had many types of sand before, but this one is the best of all! My little one would love to spend the whole day rolling around in it :-) and her fur is also excellent and beautifully soft. Highly recommended! :-)

I bought the sand when it was on offer to use it as toilet sand for my rats. They took to it really well, and it’s easy to sift and reuse. However, it starts to smell quite quickly, so you have to replace it more often. Conclusion: due to the cost, it’s not really suitable for frequent changes of toilet sand for me, but otherwise it’s super practical and hygienic.

My degu family loves this sand! Since it’s not as sharp-edged as quartz sand, it’s perfect for the fur of my little sweethearts! They dig and play in it, and they have a wooden chinchilla bath where two or three of them can bathe at the same time. Of course, my crazy degus make full use of it! Their fur is super soft and shiny, not dull or anything like you’d expect with regular quartz sand. I’m absolutely thrilled! And so is my degu family!!!

I've been using this sand for years – though not for chinchillas, but for rats, as toilet bedding. I'm thrilled: my little ones have finally understood the purpose of the toilet. I've failed with all other types of bedding so far. This sand is quartz- and shell-free, which makes it suitable for rats as well.

I had bought the sand for my hamsters in the shop before, and they were quite happy with it, using it for digging during their active times. Now I ordered the sand here for my mice, and unfortunately, half of it ended up scattered in the box, which is a shame and a waste of money. But overall, it’s a top-notch product :)

The sand is really very good and of great quality. It's nice and fine, almost soft, and has no smell. Additionally, it was vacuum-packed in the packaging, meaning it was sealed airtight. I would buy it again and again!

Two of my hamsters had an allergic reaction to the sand, and the others ended up with extremely scruffy fur. Additionally, the sand has an unpleasant smell! I won’t be buying this sand again!

Very good bathing sand, but unfortunately quite expensive. That's why only 4 stars...

Zooplus also offers quartz sand here, which I find irresponsible, as quartz sand is NEVER suitable for chinchillas and never will be. Please make sure to better inform yourselves about your pets before buying something for them. The JR Farm sand is fantastic. It’s exactly how a bathing sand should be. I’ll keep ordering it again and again! JR Farm is a top brand!

Class bathing sand! My gerbils & my little golden hamster love it... ;O)

My dwarf hamster is very fond of his "bathtub" and loves digging in the sand and rolling around in it. Unfortunately, there was a small hole in the packaging. If I hadn’t noticed it in time, I would have had to sweep the sand up from the box.

I actually bought this sand during my shopping trip at a local store and not from Zooplus, though that might change since I’ve heard a lot of good things about them. My gerbils absolutely love the sand! It’s quartz-free. It also works well as a toilet, as my gerbils use it both as a toilet and for bathing. The sand is quite pricey, but good quality comes at a price! Definitely recommended.

Our dwarf hamster loved the sand. Unfortunately, I had to scoop it out of the package (the sand, of course...) because the packaging arrived completely damaged. It's a shame the packaging is so poor.
