I specifically bought this trunk because it looked in the pictures as though it was "three-dimensional" and would stand upright on its own. However, since the vine has grown flat, you can only lay it down or have to secure it with other pieces of furniture.

This is a great product and think my rats will love it. Unfortunately a label is attached with staples. One has removed ok the other has left a small sharpe piece of metal stuck in the wood. Haven’t managed to remove this as yet, a bit disappointed

I had to saw the ends off my branch as it had clusters of very spiky twigs on it. I then had to file some bits smooth after my hamster caught her ear on it. It’s great as a natural climbing aid for getting your hamster up levels but you need to really examine it and doctor it first!

With my last order, I received a grapevine in the specified dimensions. This time, it’s only half the size of the previous one but cost just as much. I’m a bit disappointed. Additionally, the tag on the item is attached with long staples that are very difficult to remove.

Ordered two and one showed up fine but the other had started to break during its travels.

Not what I expected really with sand blasted I excepted them to be smooth but in reality they are just split sticks I could I picked from the woods!

All in all, a really great product. Just as described, it provides the animals with a lovely piece of nature to nibble on and climb. However, there urgently needs to be an alternative to the staples used to attach the product label. These are almost inseparably connected to the product and are barely removable even with pliers. If you do manage to grab them, they break off quickly, meaning the affected area in the wood has to be removed with a saw and a Dremel.

Doesn't look anywhere near as great as it does in the picture. Most of the sticks I can find in the park are nicer – it's going back. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just boring.

The vine itself is great, and my dwarf hamster loves climbing on it. But – and this is a damn big BUT: removing the clips was a real struggle, which ended with one part snapping off so short and getting stuck that I couldn’t get it out! Not good! Really not good!

I imagined the branch to be much bigger, but oh well, it's still okay. What I find really bad, though, is that the product tag is attached with long staples! I spent at least 30 minutes trying to pull them out and luckily managed to do it without breaking anything, but seriously, how can you attach such staples so tightly when the product is meant for rodents to climb and nibble on?! High risk of injury! If I hadn't been able to remove them, my rats wouldn't have been able to use it for playing!

Unfortunately, I’m not very happy with my vine. It’s more like a thick branch with a few “lumps” at the end. It doesn’t resemble the product image at all. Plus, it’s only 43 cm long. I guess I just had bad luck with my choice. At least the price is reasonable, and my mice will surely have fun with it.

The product itself is good and also well-suited for rodents to gnaw on and climb. But be careful: a product label is attached to the vine with staples! When I tried to remove it, one of the staples broke off (the staples are very long!) and got stuck in the vine... we had to saw off a whole piece of the vine to remove everything! Very dangerous for rodents as they could injure themselves while nibbling or even swallow the metal piece if it’s not completely removed!!!

I bought the grapevine for my fancy mice to climb on, and overall it's great, but the size specification of 45-70cm is completely wrong. The one I received is at most 35cm, which is quite disappointing... Looks like I'll have to buy another one so my little ones can have the climbing fun I had envisioned for them...
