I think this is very unsuitable for dwarf hamsters due to the large gaps between the rungs. My Djungarian hamster spends more time hanging in empty space than actually using the ladder. Certainly good for larger animals. What a shame.

My gerbils thought it was great when I hung it up. Unfortunately, they're experts at chewing through ropes ;) The only downside was that it started rusting very quickly because the gerbils kept gnawing on the metal hangers...

If anyone has mice, I would advise against this product, as it only lasted one day for me. After that day, the thin and slightly thicker ropes had been chewed through. (The remnants were scattered around the cage.)

My teddy hamster uses the bridge a lot for climbing, but she's not that interested in the ring. Other than that, I'm really happy with the bridge and would definitely recommend it!

I think the gaps between the wooden bars are far too small for dwarf hamsters, let alone mice. My dwarf hamster kept slipping through, so I slid some cardboard in between. In my opinion, the sisal ring is unnecessary and just takes up space, so I removed it. However, my Mikado is happy with the product, so I’m giving it 4 stars.

Received the item today wanted to attach it and noticed two hooks were missing so I had to go into town to buy hooks otherwise, it's fine

I think the suspension bridge is really great, just like my dwarf hamster. He really enjoys playing on it, and besides, it looks fantastic too.

I bought it for my little mouse boys, but unfortunately, they completely destroyed the rope ladder after about a week. ^^ The only downside is those metal bits on the sides – I’m always worried they might get a little foot caught in them. Other than that, it’s really great, the little guys clearly have a lot of fun with it. :-)

I wasn't sure about the size for my degus but it is absolutely fine, they can even fit through the ring if they want to! It hangs a little uneven due to the chains and rope being fixed at slightly different lengths, this sometimes causes it to get caught up but not in a problematic way. I am wondering if they are fixed by hand and so some natural variation is likely anyway.

I bought the suspension bridge for my hamster, and he really enjoys using it. I can only recommend the bridge as an addition and extension of the play area for any rodent!

I posted this because I saw the negative review. That person didn't have anything bad happen to their hamster and admitted they didn't even use the product! I have TWO bridges like this and my hams don't even touch the chains. They climb on the wooden bits and chew them and have zero problems in the 6 months they have had them. Excellent product.

This bridge is absolutely brilliant. I never would have thought my hamster would get so excited about it!!! I can only highly recommend it. This bridge is a great addition to any hamster cage! Our hamster spent a good half an hour climbing all over it!!!

The bridge is bigger than expected but still/totally amazing because of it! :) My dwarf hamster loves it and climbs around on it all the time! The quality and appearance are great too!

My hamster just ignores the thing. It's too small for Syrian hamsters anyway; my dwarf fits in terms of size but just finds it completely useless.

Chew toys are excellent for birds. This bridge is a hit! And all for little money. Some make themselves comfortable, some play and climb... The big BUT: all my hens enthusiastically chewed on it, so there are no rungs left on the top and bottom bridge. Since the ring was attached to one of the rungs, it naturally ended up on the floor as well. Still, the good piece is in constant use even without the ring, serving as a cosy perch to look down on everything from above or to climb around on the small rope ladder. What rodents think of it, I don’t know, but for budgies, it’s a great toy—for sitting, climbing, and destroying ;) I’d buy it again if they ever completely dismantle it.

My 2 degus absolutely love this bridge. They enjoy climing upside down over the top and chew on it a lot. This is the second one I have bought as they destroyed the last one eventually!

My mice love it, but a bit of wood broke off right at the start before I could put it in the cage... otherwise, great :)

My hamster doesn’t really like it because it wobbles quite a lot. Besides, it’s extremely impractical! So, I wouldn’t recommend it.
