Having a dog in kidney failure is a blow but her not liking the prescription diets was another, the consistency of other renal food was like mousse and stuck to the roof of her mouth, but this she ate instantly and looked for more, have only tried beef but so far very pleased

Having only recently been diagnosed with acute kidney disease, I had to go on a prescription diet, and I hated it, the food was bland, and I didn't like it. But my parents (mummy) found this for me and I love it! I now look forward to meal times. The beef flavour is my favourite, and the chicken isn't to bad either. Mummy says it's good value for money (whatever that means) and the vet (don't like her!!) says it's good as well.

My dog was diagnosed with early kidney disease and put on a prescription diet. He hated every one of them and started losing weight. I discovered this by sheer fluke...and he loves it. It looks like real dog dinners and smells like it too. Vet prescribed diets are wet,sloppy and no smell. Which is ridiculous given how much dogs depend on smells. This also works out £30 per month cheaper than the Royal Canin he was turning his nose up at.

My whippet has kidney disease & therefore needs an appropriate food. We have tried all the various makes with their different prices & consistencies & this is the nearest to normal dog food. Buddy loves it where as the others he really wasn't fussed. Really recommended, if my fussy boy likes it it must be good.

Like other owners we'd found our dog refusing to eat the well-known brand from the USA. He eats this up, problem solved. Looks and smells a bit like corned beef.

I've used this for a while now and at first was very happy with the product. There has always been a layer of solid fat at the bottom of the tin, but now there is a lot of fat running through the food and a thick (over 1/4") at the bottom. I find I waste nearly a quarter of the tin.

I have read the other reviews and like most of the other dog owners our 7yr old rottie mace would not touch the other renal wet dog foods and only very little of the royal canin dry food so thankful we found integra he loves it and has put some weight on after losing 7 kilos

This food has been an amazing find. My dog was recently diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure and I was unable to get her to eat any of the vet prescribed diet food. She now looks forward to her meals and would happily eat double the recommended amount. This food looks and smells like normal dog food and not like compressed cardboard.

I have 2 boxers whom have both been diagnosed with ckd one was worse than the other and as they are both sisters,were told it was in there beans.we noticed very quickly how I'll the first one was,losing weight,not eating properly (and we only ever feed ours the best foods) urinating in their sleep. Since changing their diet to hills kd dried food and they were having the wet until I found this make,( which they both prefer,so they now still have the hills dry food mixed with this now and they eat the lot,no messing around like before. And they are now so much healthier,coats are healthy and shiney,no more urinating in sleep( so have now come off of the incurin medication,which they were having 2 daily each,and they now have a healthy weight gain,we are so happy to have found this food. Our boxers Roxy and Ronnie love it

Found this food by sheer accident and so glad I did. My dog has just been recently diagnosed as requiring this type of diet. Surprised when first opened as it really looked a bit like jellied/corned beef, smelled quite appetising too...and Tanni certainly seems to agree. Another really good thing about this food is that it is exactly the right amount for one day's feeding regime, no need to mess around with trying to guess the correct amount any more and no overnight leftovers either.

my 15 year old retriever has had ckd for several years and after trying several different foods that she flatly refused to eat I'm so glad i tried this.she absolutely loves it! she's been having this food for 6 months now and hasn't tired of it at all.to say she is thriving on it is no exaggeration i only wish id found it earlier

My dog of 16 years suffered from renal failure for over a month, and had tried all the brans available for dogs (Royal Canin, Hills, Purina, Trainer), but none of these were to his liking. I was desperate to find something he would eat and finally found this food, he loves it. I highly recommend it! We've combined this wet food with Integra Protect Kidneys dry food and his problems are all solved!

This food is great! I have a yorkie westie mix and he loves the food. The size is perfect for 2 days and the price is unbeatable. And the smell of this food is far better than the others we had before.

My dog likes this food very much. It's not as hard and crumbly as other manufacturers. The value for money is also great. After all this is 600g cans rather than 400g. We haven't used it for very long so we're waiting to see it it helps.

Great product, much more palatable than the Hill's renal or Trainer Sensirenal. But I have also noticed that he prefers the smaller trays to the larger cans, perhaps because it keeps well.

Every now and then I use this as a change from the usual dry food and it's perfect!! It doesn't alter the values that I managed to get using Royal Canin Renal. Great value for money too!!

The wet food actually looks appetising and smells quite good. The consistency is excellent. But my dog refuses to eat it. This is certainly due to his own preferences and not the quality of the food. My other dog that doesn't even need diet food also loves it. Too bad my dog won't touch it, because it is a very good alternative to the expensive vet foods.

I'm very happy with Integra Protect Renal. When my dog had kidney problems, I got them in control with this food! Thank you very much!

Renal wet food from Animonda helped us to elevate the kidney values back to healthy levels. My dog loves eating it too, and prefers to eat it rather than pure meat! We are thrilled!

My dog Theo had acute renal failure and is only allowed to eat kidney food. The Integra Protect Renal not only looks good, it smells ok too. Theo loves it and cleans his bowl every time he eats it. We have his kidney values under control now.
