My dog eats this after trying other brands which he wouldn't eat. My only query is the layer of fat at the bottom of the tins. I do scrape it up and mix it in but it seems odd that it occurs like this. Should I be concerned?

My dog had undergone a minor operation and no food would lift her after for weeks after until a friend told us about this. After A LOT of research and comparison of ingredients, I took the plunge and changed my Labrador with CKD to Animonda Integra Protec from Royal Canin Renal Wet food (which was burning a hole in my finances). Happy to report dog's values have improved with this food and he loves it, it's not burning a hole in my purse either! I was worried cheaper product would mean less quality but it doesn't appear the case with this. Cant ever fault shipping & delivery either!

My near 14 year old dog was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure. I put him on Integra food a tin a day and I give the equivalent of my own specially cooked food as well. He loves Integra and seems to be doing really well on it. He has put on weight and absolutely loves the taste. Please Zooplus continue stocking this food. Thank you.

I had previously bought Hills but my dog, after a year, was getting a bit fed up with it day after day. I hesitated over this renal dog food as it was cheaper and in truth I wondered if it was less effective. However as soon as you open the tin you know the dog will love it, it is now guzzled every night with some biscuits. I am now trying the beef too, for a change. Confident he will like this too.

If you're debating about buying this dog food, please just do it. My 13 year Springer was diagnosed with early CKD last year. I bought Hills dry and wet food which he was eating, but rather half heartedly. He has just suffered his second episode of Vestibular (doggy vertigo) and had gone off his food and had lost weight. I found this by chance and tried him with it last week, wow what a difference in him! He now cries with excitement when I open the tin and he eats the lot. Amazing! :-)

Both my 14 year old Border Collie siblings were diagnosed with Renal failure in October 2019. I first had then on a very expensive brand and the bitch was still wetting herself. I searched on the internet and found Zooplus did a variety of Renal products so bit the bullet and tried Integra. Within 10 days the bitch had stopped wetting herself and both are much more active. I keep a bag of the dry Integra for emergencies so they have that now and then and they absolutely love the food.!

My border collie is 15 and I expected her to refuse this at first but she has been eating it up with gusto '!!!!'

My 10 year old Yorkie is a very fussy eater & has such a delicate stomach. Anything too rich either makes him vomit or gives him the runs. I’ve tried him on other low protein foods & he just turns his nose up at them. He’s so stubborn that he’d rather go hungry than eat something he doesn’t like. However, he loves this brand in the beef flavour & chicken flavour. He recognises the tin & gets very excited at din dins time. He can eat a full portion with no stomach issues at all.

My terrier is a fussy eater at the best of times, and when I found out that he needed a special diet for renal insufficiency I had a bit of bother finding something he liked. Hill's didn't go down at all well, and although he didn't mind Rinti, it upset his tummy a bit (it gave him the "runs"). Integra, on the other hand, agrees with him entirely and he absolutely loves it. He likes beef and chicken Integra equally. Worzel and I recommend it highly.

My 16 yr Staffie x was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease but hated the food recommended by the vet. So glad to find this one, although she only likes the beef version. She had lost so much weight I was desperately worried but after a couple of months of this she has filled out again.

So happy with this food - our dog was recently diagnosed stage 3 kidney disease, but hated the KD diet and was hardly eating - she absolutely loves this!!! Such a huge relief - she loves this and also the Rinti brand too - so we buy both for variety. Super happy!!!

My 14 yo staffie was diagnosed with ckd and refuse to eat royal canin renal dry/wet.. I was sceptical about this product but decided to give it a try as I saw lot of great reviews here. And she is loving it!! I am so happy!! I had to cook for her special recipe food for ckd disease but now I can take a break with the cooking and my doggie is still happy to eat!! Thanks a lot!!

My almost 13 year old dog was diagnosed with stage three kidney disease and prescribed the common renal brands of food. Would she eat them? Not on your life. After spending a fortune on several different brands and with a dog becoming more and more depressed and losing weight I decided to try this make. Oh, what a difference! She loves it. She now has put on weight and is back to her normal happy self. In fact, I think she’s better than she was before. Only hope Zooplus don’t run out of stock.

My 12 year old has refused previous renal friendly foods so I was looking forward to trying Integra as reviews were positive however although it did smell lovely, unlike the others tried, she refuses to eat it so I am now desperate. She has calcium in her urine also. I now have a great many spare tins unopened - what a waste of around £80 and what a worry.

My beloved border collie was diagnosed with severe renal failure and given months to live. He was losing weight and appetite fast and wouldn’t eat much of the prescription diets. Found this online and he loves it (both flavours). Mixed with Burns hypoallergenic mixer (ok for renal dogs) and he is doing really well. 6 months post diagnosis he is surprising my vet every visit!

My dog has severe kidney disease and we have tried several different brands of renal food, wet and dry. This one actually looks and smells appetising (even to a human!) and Romeo absolutely loves it. He picked at the other brands but this one he really enjoys. And it's half the price or more of other brands. Perfect!
