At first, our puppy took to Hills Puppy well, but only for a few days. Soon, he turned his nose up at the food, and we had to switch to Rinti. Positive: Hills helped improve the diarrhoea.

My little Beagle puppy took to Hills Puppy food very well after switching from Nutro. I fed him alternately and mixed it with Hills dry food. After about 6-8 weeks, my puppy started rejecting the food. He pushed the bowl back and forth and walked away "offended." Even when he was extremely hungry (and with a Beagle, that's saying something...), he wouldn't budge. Only switching to Rinti Junior and Rinti Finest reignited his typical Beagle-sized appetite.

My 5-month-old Labrador has always been fed Pedigree wet food (mixed with Eukanuba or Josera). As soon as we give him Hills, he only eats half the bowl. And this from a dog with such a big appetite...

My mini bulldog enjoyed the first six cans and tolerated them well, but now he turns his nose up at it. He prefers Rinti, which tastes better to him and costs only half as much.
