The comments regarding tummy upset, sickness etc are more likely a response to changing to another dog food too quickly. A new dog food needs to be introduced very gradually. I find it unfair to review any dog food negatively when this has not been done.

Been using this food for 7 yrs. For a JR, aDobie, a Lurcher and a Scottie X. I use a meat topper to keep them at it. The JR and Dobie are no longer with us but I first started using this when we rescued the Dobie. She was very overweight, had terrible flatulence and diarrhea. This food completely changed her. She lost weight/poo was normal/she looked stunning after a few months. The price is unbelievable and very affordable. All the dogs looke fab on it and the two remaining ones still love it

We got this for our pug after a recommendation but it hasn't done much for Daisy. We found it made her sick and her mouth swelled a little, additionally she started having issues with reverse sneezing regularly which she only did very rarely previously. We stopped using after about a week, so we've got the majority of a 15kg bag to throw away. The pieces are an inconsistent size too so need breaking down for small mouths and its very dry, so water consumption doubled.

My dog’s been on this for about a month or so and oh my what a change. The food is cold-pressed and the ingredients are great, so Gracie’s coat became smooth, soft, and shiny after about a week on MM, and her poops are a little better too. This is also the only food she’s actually happily eaten in the long term. But big pellets I need to snap in half, and the bottom of the bag tends to be dusty so I sieve the last bits of food. As all kibble, it’s dry, and dogs will need water with it.

This is a natural, dry, cold-pressed food. Our very big-boned choc lab is prone to weight gain If wher were human she would be a Mr Creosote. So we needed low fat, reasonable protein and good roughage contents food. This seems to hit the mark

Our flatcoat puppy came from the breeder with RC puppy food but having done my research I knew I wanted to switch him to cold pressed. For his first week we kept him on RC but he was really not bothered about food and was actually loosing weight. After a bad bout of the runs we decided to switch him to Markus. What a difference! He loves his food, practically dances when I get the bag out, has now reached the weight he should be and us such a settled pup.

My 5 year old, normally not fussy collie/ lab mix, has gone off this completely. As I’ve bought 2 large bags of the Black Angus which he is also not interested in eating, I can’t recommend this I’m afraid. The pellets seem to be too large for him.

I've seen a few reviews saying dogs drink a lot after eating this. As with all dry food - add warm water to it! Dried food is very unnatural as, once in the body it will absorb any moisture from an animal making them dehydrated - this is why cats especially often develop kidney problems from a dry food diet if no water is added. My 3 dogs love this food and it's by far the best value in terms of quality followed by Lukullus which seems to have slightly better ingredients but is more expensive.

Feed an am bull, staffie, Beagle and Gtreat Dane on this. It suits them all, . They oe the taste. Poos good, shiny coats. No issues at all

Labrador was struggling to digest a much higher cost premium brand and was loosing weight, so happy to find this. Great value at less than half the price.Really firm not very smelly stools and the dog is now putting on weight. Great!

I changed to Markus Mhule, naturnah after Lukullus ( which my dog loved) became unavailable in 15kg bags, so this worked out much cheaper, but not at the expense of quality. It is very good value for cold pressed, with good ingredients and my Springer loves it, and we get firm stools and no wind. Obviously it may not suit all dogs as proven by a few reviews, but I definitely recommend you try it. Also, if you are new to Zooplus, you will not be disappointed with the quality of service.

I tried too many different foods to list. I have three l/h weimaraners, one has a very sensitive stomach and several allergies. I ended up feeding them RAW as I was unable to find a suitable food and then my friend recommended Markus Muhle. Thank you so much for producing this and thank you Zoo Plus for stocking it. I put a little boiling water on the food because its hard going for my old girl but very happy weimis and owner.

This product should have more recognition... Since starting feeding my dogs on this food I've had numerous comments about how fit and healthy my dogs look.. It keeps them healthy inside and out...... I make it my mission to tell people in my doggy circle and beyond about this food.

My staffy/ridgeback really struggled to digest other foods (diarrhoea and terrible farts) so we tried this after our dog trainer recommended it. We've re-ordered several times since. We had an issue with a bag last time and within a few emails we had a whole new bag delivered to us a few days later so we were very impressed with the service.

My dog usually has no problems with kibble and adapts really well to changes, but he can't tolerate this one and ends up vomiting.

I've been feeding my dog MM food for about 2 years now and he really likes the big chunks and the taste. His stools have always been firm. With the latest large pack, I've noticed his stools are noticeably softer and the food also looks a bit coarser and shinier... was there a change in the recipe? Delivery is reliable. Great value for money!

We’ve had it really good before.

She ate them right away, she really likes the taste. I have a German Shepherd mix. Her digestion is very good. Bowel movements are good too. For a medium-sized dog, the kibble is great, as it’s quite big and firm. I wouldn’t recommend buying large bags. I bought them before and when she got bored of them, I just put them aside for a while before going back to them.

It's important that he gets to chew properly and use his teeth. At the same time, he's getting the purest ingredients.

The value for money is really good.

Since my dog comes from abroad, I couldn’t continue with his usual food because it’s not available here. Tried different brands – never firm stools and even an anal gland infection, which led to him biting and scratching his tail and thigh until they were bloody. Switched to MM and now his stools are just right, his coat is shiny, and he’s lively. WE’RE STICKING WITH IT
