I used to buy this product before corn was added to the recipe. My dog farts when fed corn - because he is not a chicken - therefore I switched to another brand, also "coldpressed" but with better ingredients.

Gave dog chronic flatulence and an allergic reaction, he became quite unwell while on this food, had to consult a vet and dog was given strong steroid meds to help with the allergic reaction

Our lab has a really strong stomach, and I wanted to try an own brand product from zooplus. She eats it (of course she’s a lab!) but drinks huge quantities after (even though we give it mixed with water) and poos most of it out again. Not easily digestible this stuff and we slowly transferred her to this food over a few weeks. Now left with a 10kg bag - Definitely going back to Burns she’s much happier on it.

the new 10kg package, with the same label as the 1.5 and 15 kg product, has in fact different ingredients: less meat and now 15% corn; deceiving practice, to be referred to consumer protection agencies

I tried this while looking for a cheaper alternative to lilys kitchen for my GSD X Malamute, he enjoyed it but it gave him a RAGING THIRST, we had serveral accidents overnight after not having one for 4 3/4 years...it seems he is not alone, great shame.

2 Labradors. Both had upset stomachs, loose vowel movements one very hyperactive and the other raging thirst. 10kg left but wouldn't give it to another dog owner. Usual dog food eukanuba but have used royal canin and James wellbeloved. Problems ceased when fed eukanuba again.

I used to buy this kibble before and was happy with it for a long time, then it was unavailable for ages, so I was delighted when it came back with a new recipe. The January review mentioning it contains chicken liver threw me off a bit, but I hoped it was a mistake. But no, it really does say chicken liver on the bag. It's listed here too, but it's kind of cleverly hidden – first they show the old ingredients, then the new recipe. I'm really disappointed about this.

The new formula turns to powder, it's dry and the smell isn't as good as it used to be. For now, we're ordering something else. We loved the old one, our dog had been eating it for many years.

We really loved the old recipe, that’s why we gave the new one a chance, but NEVER AGAIN.
