Kong
I have an Irish Terrier with a really strong bite – unfortunately, he can't handle it.

Smells bad and has a weird texture
On the first order, there was a strong smell that aired out after a few weeks, and then the bone brought my dog a lot of joy. Ordered again, but this time there was a strong stench that didn’t go away and stayed, and the texture was somehow soft and sticky. My dog didn’t want this bone either. Strange. I contacted Kong but unfortunately didn’t get a response. Zooplus, however, was very accommodating.

For dogs with a strong chewing instinct 😬
Unfortunately, our Mali puppy destroyed the bone in 10 minutes. Otherwise, it's nice, but for dogs with a strong chewing need, it's probably just as sturdy as the regular Kong.

Doesn't smell good...
Unfortunately, the "black" one smells like an old tyre.
I didn’t have this problem with the pink Puppy Kong. Very disappointing for this price, and you expect good quality from Kong. I can’t give it to my dog with a clear conscience.

Extremely... broke quickly!
My Chesapeake Bay Retriever chewed off the thick end of the Kong Extreme Goodie Bone within half an hour, luckily without any consequences.
Shame, I had expected more.

Extreme is not always the same as extreme.
Our mixed-breed dog is now 1 year old and has already destroyed several toys for "Extreme Chewers" in no time. He bites into the openings for the treats and chews out pieces bit by bit. Sure, things can break sometimes, but not *this* quickly, please. Unfortunately, he also ends up swallowing the pieces. Kind regards.

doesn't last long
Unfortunately, it turned out for us as well that the item doesn’t last long. Either the quality has declined, or my little rascal has figured out how to chew through it within an hour... such a shame!! Now I have no idea what I can buy for him to chew on for a bit. :-(

Kong Extreme Goodie Bone
I’ve been buying this product for years. My Amstaff loves it, but unfortunately, the time it takes for her to chew it to the point where her teeth get stuck in it keeps getting shorter (a maximum of 1 month). I find it very disappointing.

Unfortunately, it didn't last long!
After about half a day, the thing was in two pieces! Such a shame...

Well made but my dog is not interested
I thought this would be just the ticket for my young corgi. He loves chewing and usually destroys things before long. He also likes toys where he has to work out how to extract food. This has not been the case with this toy. He just isn't interested. The food is too stuck and wedged in and he loses interest. I have tried all sorts of food. If anyone has a suggestion of what they have put in that their dog likes please let me know!

Short-lived fun
Our Irish Wolfhound demolished this chew bone – unfortunately only available in a small size – within 30 minutes. The fun was short-lived. The only toy that has managed to survive so far is the black classic Kong. It's a shame the bone isn't available in XXL, that might have stood a chance...

Good to chew but it gets torn apart too.
We've had the Kong for 3 months now, and our pug gets it filled with treats every 2-3 days to keep her occupied. It doesn't hold up against her milk teeth; she bites off pieces at the stopper holes. Unfortunately, it's no longer usable.

A BIT DISAPPOINTED
After reading the reviews for this product I bought one but I am disappointed to find that it is not as strong as I had hoped. My border collie has slowly destroyed it to the extent that lumps of rubber have fallen off so I've had to throw it away incase my dog chokes on it.

Well, will it hold ????
I have an English Bulldog and have let him try all sorts of chew toys. Unfortunately, no one has managed to develop a truly interesting and, above all, DURABLE toy for Bullies. I think anyone who owns a Bully will agree with me!!?? I've spent a lot of money on toys because nothing has really lasted. Since I already have the regular cone-shaped Extreme for mine and am super, super happy with it, I was thrilled to see that "Kong" offers more Extreme toys. So, I ordered straight away and was totally excited when the postman rang the doorbell.
Unfortunately, the anticipation was greater than the reality... After opening the box, I saw the packaging with a picture of a Bully on it (still positive at this point!!). But when I unpacked the bone, I noticed it was flexible. Not exactly confidence-inspiring!!!! On top of that, the packaging states that it's suitable for dogs up to a maximum of 15 kg. My Bully weighs over 20 kg!!!
So, the weight and the photo don't really match up ;-(
I know for sure that my Bully will only enjoy it if I sit next to him and keep an eye on him!! :-( You don't want anything to happen....
Such a shame!!

Well...
"‘Especially durable’ looks different. But it seems my Aussie isn’t the only dog who manages to split the thing in the middle. Filling it is also a bit of a hassle...
I’ve put it away now and gone back to the ‘Kong Classic Red’. That one delivers on its promises."

Difficult to fill
We've had this toy for quite a long time now – and since then, it's mostly just been lying around unused, which is a shame considering the price. Our main issue is with filling it. I don't want to keep buying the treats specifically made for it. And all the other treats just aren't suitable – if they're too soft, they stick inside, and the dog can't get them out on his own. If you use hard treats (chew sticks), the dog simply pulls them out in one piece, making the Bone pointless.
This toy is indestructible – but how could it possibly get damaged when the dog doesn't find it interesting at all?
