My Old English Bulldog male has very tough claws that he can't wear down on his own. The claw scissors cut through the claws easily and without fraying.

My Shepsky has very thick and hard claws, but this pair of scissors works perfectly without any issues.

I like the limiter, which ensures that not too much of the nail is removed. Despite this, I approached it cautiously and started with my dog's dewclaw. The scissors are sharp and cut precisely without splitting the nail, as some buyers had criticised. I recommend this product.

I use the scissors to trim the claws of my cat and dog. The cat has very long and strongly curved claws, otherwise she keeps getting caught on things. The small protective shield ensures that you don’t accidentally cut off too much and possibly injure the claw. The scissors are very sharp.

To sharpen, simply fold some aluminium foil and cut into it a few times. And voilà, it's razor-sharp. A bit of vegetable oil helps prevent sticking. No problem at all! Cuts through my dog's very tough claws with ease. And the spacer provides extra safety. I'm absolutely thrilled with how well I can now trim the claws on my own. Thank you so much!!

Fold aluminium foil a few times and cut into it a few times with the scissors. The scissors will be razor-sharp in no time!!! They cut through my dog's really tough claws like butter. I also really like the safety stopper. This way, I don't have to worry about cutting off too much. The scissors sit very comfortably in the hand. I'm completely satisfied. Thank you very much!!

We consider this claw trimmer to be the best one we've had so far; it's sharply ground and stays that way for a very long time. We've never had any issues with the lever, so if something doesn't work, it’s probably a user error ;-)

I hated getting my strong black claws cut, I used to really play up at the vets and it would take 5 , 4 people to hold me still 1 to cut. On one occasion the top man even broke his best clippers ha ha, being large strong and powerful really can help sometimes. So now I get them done in the comfort of my own home,with these Tixie deluxe claw clippers, I think the vets happier too and I have new meaning for Take 5, just lay back and relax.

We've tried all sorts of claw scissors and pliers, but this one is the best. I have two smaller mixed-breed dogs, and the 16 cm size is absolutely perfect for them. I can only recommend it! :)

These clippers are pretty large and sharp which is just what we needed; We needed something for our 2 year old cat. You could definitely cut large dogs' nails with them too!
